    New to the podcast! My favorite line from the host in the episode defining fitness was (paraphrasing), “I know some of our listeners don’t like Latin words, or words in general, but…sarcopenia.” LOL I’m here for all the words Latin and otherwise. And I appreciate the short format.

    Patronizing and Pedantic
    The relatively new host treats his listners like they are stupid. Just about half of the show(s) goes to debunking fitness myths, that pretty much everybody knows about. And actually he follows that old addage of throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The recent 10,000 steps show is a good example. 10000 steps is arbitrary it turns out. But there is a wealth of data showing that those that get to the 9000-10000 steps get a myraid of health benefits, none of which he mentioned. He's too busy showing us how smart he is and proving he's a logician by citing abstruce Latin terms. A waste of time, so follow my lead and find a better podcast

    Why so abrasive?
    Oof I used to really like the other guy that moved on.. this new-ish one… with the accent… just No. His advice boarders on abusive. I know that’s not a requirement to me nice but he craps on things he doesn’t understand. He’s a know-it-all with no option that there MIGHT be new things or views he hasn’t thought about. I guarantee he’s awful at parties. I used to listen for advice but I think I’ll pass until/or you get a new host.

    Easy to understand & informative
    I love to hear how we can make exercise work for us, I have noticed that Don is having approach to the program. It took me a while to get familiar with his tone and way to deliver. Thank you for putting a new spin to it. I still missed Brock but I’m you here. ✌️😊

    I miss when this show gave advise on working out and exercising. Maybe it’s a new host? Now it’s thoughts on the controversy of drinking pee and hormone replacement:/ really odd.

    I liked the previous Get Fit Guys. This one is arrogant and I am not going to waste my time listening. Perhaps in a year or two you will get someone worth listening to.

    I’ve been listening to this podcast for years, since Ben Greenfield was hosting, and while I’ve gotten something out of all the hosts, Dr. Jonathan Soo is the best. He gets right to the point and gives good advice about exercising.

    Sounds robotic
    The tips are fine, and I subscribed for a long time, but the new guy sounds like he’s a robot reading from a script. It’s hard to stay engaged through an entire episode even though it’s only like 10 minutes.

    The content is fine. Mostly the basics but good for beginners and middlers based in science and not quacky. I like his product recommendations and that the content is all meat and no fluff in short, easy to listen to bites. Sometimes you like to hear the banter, but sometimes you want them to get right to the point. Fit guy gets to the point.

    Catching up on old episodes, found it through a climbing friend. Has really helpful tips for staying fit and excelling. Would like to see more episodes concentrate on outdoor activities/ exercices.

    Hilarious and informative
    I am *loving* this podcast. Brock is hilarious, and hearing him rip apart fitness fads like SoulCycle has so far been the crown jewel of these episodes. I completely agree with his views on functional fitness and being active throughout the day, and I’m looking forward to learning more about those things.

    This podcast is an endless stream of advertising & sales pitches. The info is sometimes interesting but the podcasts has way more ads running than many similar podcasts available on the same subject matter. Unsubscribed, happily.

    Show going downhill...I can’t believe it’s not butter!
    Lately the quality of the show seems to have been dropping off. I like Brock and enjoy him in Ben Greenfield’s podcast when he joins him there. But with the recent addition of I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter as a sponsor, it’s pretty hard to keep tuning in. Seriously? On a fitness podcast we are pushing that trash now!?

    Quick but jam packed with info
    I have learned a lot from this Pod in quick 15-20 minute spurts. The content is diverse and structured well. I really like the length of this pod. He offers good understandable explanations that a novice can understand all while still offering interesting content to those more knowledgeable.

    I had been s long term listener of the original get fit guy. After a long span, a different replacement get fit guy appeared. After listening to a few shorter podcasts and listening to the replacement hock chocolate milk as the perfect post workout drink. I had had enough. Unsubscribed. Adios

    Brock’s get-fit-guy podcasts are short but useful fitness bites. Easy to understand, without a lot of hard to understand words, solid information based on science. More important, you can trust that you are getting accurate information, and not half-baked theories.

    Friendly and mainstream while still interesting
    I love Brock Armstrong’s science based exercise tips. As someone who has worked out for most of the last 20 years, I find his frequent reference to studies, both old and new, to be really helpful for tweaking my methods for improved performance. I don’t think you have to be a newbie to enjoy this podcast. I also like that this podcast isn’t filled with weird advice to use infrared saunas or strange sponsors that will laser my reproductive organs. I’m interested in more mainstream and easily executed improvements on my fitness routines. Best of all, Brock seems like a guy who’d hang out and talk to almost anybody at barbecue, fit or not. He’s a very friendly and accessible presenter.

    Loved the podcast with Ben Greenfield and actually enjoy Brick more. But chocolate milk as a sponsor? Way too much sugar. And benefits are minimal at best. Industry propaganda. Surely there are more appropriate sponsors.

    Brock does well
    Brock Armstrong does a great job exploring, explaining, and presenting information about fitness and workouts. His style is understated and he’s not the center of attention nor does he say his training or his workouts are the gold standard. Such a welcome relief! My only advice to him would be to focus more outside the gym and include activities or combo activities (e.g. give us the skinny on fat tire bikes and how to get a good workout on them). Great stuff!

    I have been listening to this podcast for several years now. I enjoyed it very much with Ben Greenfield and enjoy it even more now with Brock! With Brock at the helm the last 6 monthes or so I feel the podcast has became re-vitalized. He does such a great job of taking complex topics and making them accessible and practical. He also always hads a little humor and fun into each episode. I love the format and the content has been so very helpful on my health journey. THANKS!!! Keep up to excellent work.

    I wasn't a listener of the original get-fit guy. His advice always seemed too extreme (hyperbaric chambers, anyone?) but I have been LOVING the NEW get-fit guy! His advice is simple and realistic for everyday people looking to improve their fitness. He cites studies but isn't afraid to revisit a topic to explain it more in-depth or simplify it and re-explain it to make it practical and acheivable for anyone. Thanks, Broc Armstrong for making fitness understandable and realistic!

    Good info but too much advertising
    Been listening for over a year and great info but just too many plugs for a 10 minute podcast. Would be okay with one per. Its a pain to fast forward but it is worth the information.

    Spends half his podcast plugging sponsors and the network. The delivery is also very plain and sounds like someone reading a list of facts from Wikipedia. Might be useful information but I'm already bored by the time he gets to it.

    I have listened for a couple of years. Ben covers a broad bunch of topics. 2/3 of these interest me. I learn more from some of the other 1/3. I have learned how to get more out of my investment in fitness and avoided fads and injuries.
