Carolina41AThis mini-series is so creative!I knew China is very developed and convenient and everything, but I didn't know the modern history! The county and the society as changed so much! This is super cool!
-
ElleKUKHeyang is an obvious favoriteShe’s got charisma! Good to know there are Chinese people like her over there. A mostly interesting & informative pod on China.
-
Dahai JinCommentPretty good program, I like it very much. Could you bring back Huang Shan? I miss her. Also Laiming is cute. Where is Tony? He has a nice voice.

LineRunnerer“pressing social issues”As a foreigner living in China, I was hoping to find a podcast that discussed modern issues both within China and internationally from a Chinese perspective. However, issues tend to never derive from China. As of 2021, the podcast has failed to address any of the major issues in China including the most recent mass protests, the national party congress, or anything regarding the covid restrictions. For a podcast that claims to cover “pressing social issues in China” and failing to do so accurately or fairly this unfortunately falls into the category of propaganda. With an understanding of how the media sphere operates within the mainland, I have sympathy for the hosts both foreign and Chinese that are forced to bite their tongue in times like these…

浮生若梦红颜老About transcriptWhere can I find the transcript of your shows? I found out it’s a very good material for learning English

IT GrampieExcellent podcast about ChinaThis show is a good way to learn more about China and and how the country and people are addressing everyday events. Keep up the great work.
-
tril'lReally like it!Please be more forgiving to the hosts' pronounciation; As long as it is clear, chingulish is more like a style not an error! As for the "propoganda from Chinese government" arguement, please save it for consparicy theorists! There is no hate or instigation so you CANNOT say it is a propoganda!
-
Omid89Stop interrupting other peopleNillah , please learn to listen while other people speaking let them finish whatever they want to say . You always interrupting others , someone just starts to say something and you are cutting his/ her speech and saying something unrelated to the topic that’s so annoying.
-
Harry9248No more “you know ”pleasePlease, Tony, can you stop speaking “you know” every 10 seconds? I love this show, but “you know ” drive me crazy.
-
Fuzzy SocksExcellent! This is one of the best podcasts on daily life in China delivered in excellent English.

ODwyers825I really wanted this to be good....I was hoping to find a podcast about china that was not super technical or business focused but still more substantial than what people like eating. It’s toothless and kind of boring.
-
oracle of TemplePropagandaThis show is Chinese government propaganda. If it were real it would address human rights violations and pollution instead of what kind of food Chinese people enjoy.
-
LidgameAnnoying noises from male hostsEvery time they enter into 2nd half discussion, me hosts always make annoying and stupid sounds. They think that makes them interesting but not. Please just be standard hosts and mind your behaviors and sounds
-
Wayland ChinWon’t name Chinese companiesWhen criticizing Chinese companies, they won’t name the company, which makes it not useful information for listeners.
