BIOL 121: Anatomy & Physiology I

209

Anatomy & Physiology I is an introductory overview of human biology, intended for pre-clinical Nursing and Allied Health majors who are in the early stages of their academic studies. Topics in this course include: basic body organization; functional biochemistry; cell biology and histology; the study of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, circulatory, lymphatic, and respiratory systems, with an emphasis on normal anatomy and physiology with some clinical applications.

I create my own videos using iPad Pro, in which I explain and illustrate essential anatomy and physiology concepts in order to enhance students' learning in both the lecture and laboratory. Most of my videos are under 10 minutes in length. I'm currently in the process of re-recording previous videos, complete with my own digital illustrations. Look for my A & P I course to go Public on iTunes U in 2017, along with the publication of the first in a planned series of multi-touch books.

I hope you find my videos a helpful addition to your introductory human biology studies! Your comments and feedback are always appreciated. I love hearing from students around the world who have benefited from my learning resources. Thanks for watching and best of success to you in your courses!
