    Sound issue
I’m not criticizing the guys or the content, but that choice to put one entirely in the left ear and the other in the right. It kind of gives me a headache.

    I wish it never ended!
I came late to the party, but you two are/were amazing. Czech history has been central to my life for over 50 years. And I never knew some of the things you talked about ! Do you still get to live in ČR, or have you moved on? A++ you two!

    Super awesome
I am only on episode 4, but my gosh, the Beer episode is on fire! I am Czech living in South Africa and you guys are making me so home sick! Actually every episode is so fun, you can hear how much the guys love Czech. I told my husband about this podcast, he haven’t been in Czech yet, he is loving the show, can’t wait to take him to all the spots that will get mentioned. Well done guys!

    Enjoyable
Very interesting podcast on various topics related to the Czech Republic. There’s history, legends, culture, and more.

    Wonderful Podcast
I resisted subscribing to bohemican because I already listen to three dozen podcasts mostly history ones, and, well, I just didn’t know how much I wanted to learn about the Czech Republic. How happy I am that I decided to live dangerously and expand my horizons. I have learned so much! I’m about halfway through the posted episodes; I truly hope they will continue to put these podcasts out. The hosts are genial and seem like lovely people. Give this one a try. You might find out, as I did, that you are most intrigued by the Czech Republic and its history.

    Thank you
I came across this show years ago and it has been a great companion for those years. It’s what inspired me to go to Prague for my honeymoon. I fell in love with Prague and the surrounding area listening to this podcast and sister show.

    wonderful
Worked my way through a lot of these guys other podcasts - only a few episodes into this one, but i'm happy to have so much more to listen to - excellent - thanks

    True Bohemican
I spent two years in the Czech Republic with one year soley in Prague. Hearing all the stories makes me want to go back. I'd love to hear more about easily overlooked things from Hradcany to Nove Mesto. I feel like I knew all the main stops but I really enjoy the little side stories. Also can we talk about where to get Svickova and Halusky (I know it's Slovak) in the States?

Exceptional insight into from an outsiders perspective into Central Europe.
Incredibly enjoyable podcast about a lesser explored part of Europe. Full of culture, unique insights and intriguing experiences from an outsiders viewpoint.

Great Podcast on an oft-overlooked region
While it started out with some technical difficulties, this podcast has evolved into an excellent resource for all things Bohemian (and Moravian and Slovak). From medieval history to American immigrants to modern-day Prague pub crawls, these guys cover it all with warmth, intelligence and humor.

    Eclectic and Fascinating
I was aware of the stereotype of Prague and the Czech Republic being a place with an immensely superstitious history, but I wouldn't have ever guessed how surprisingly interesting it would be. Keep 'em coming!

    It's dope
Ahoj Peter and Travis, keep up the great work. Although you are self-proclaimed "amateur historians", you make the subject matter more interesting than any History PhD's could. Dekuji.

    upcoming trip
This is a great podcast. I stumbled upon it by accident and I am so glad I did. I have a trip to Prague coming up in a few weeks. While doing Ironman triathlon training I binge listened to the whole series up to now out on 100 mile bike rides. The only problem was that I couldn’t write things down that I heard while on the bike. Luckily the website has a lot of this info.

    A Rich World
Pete and Travis provide a great look at the history and culture of the Czech Republic. History is about more than dates and names, it is made up of stories and these guys do a great job of bringing exciting and interesting stories to the listener that flesh out the story of the Czech people.

    Top notch
Avid history podcast fan. I really had to dig to find this one and in fact was made aware by the History of England guest episode they did. What a pleasant surprise - among the best out there (H.o.England, Hardcore History, Revolutions, Bowery Boys). Totally down to earth, lots of personal context in their stories and an obvious passion for their subject matter. Am only through episode 10 and my only complaint is the audio quality. Each speaker is dedicated to either the left of right speaker/headphone and the left one has a little too much treble.

    I've been missing out!
I am a big fan of the History of Alchemy Podcast and I kept hear this show mentioned. I'm truly glad I listened! I absolutely love the show!
  • JesterDean
    Thanks...
Great job... Love it. Would give 5 stars if the show schedule was more predictable.

    Mostly Excellent
I am a big fan of podcasts, and "history podcasts" as well. This is a fun, semi-casual (read: researched, informative, decent audio quality, but not heavily edited and masterfully produced) and I recommend it. Some episodes are more hit-miss than others, but the two podcasters have great rapport and bounce off each other making it more interesting than the 'audio drone' problem some history podcasts with a single narrator have.

    Great Stuff
This is extremely interesting history and culture, with a focus on Prague and "old Bohemia." Very good storytelling and pace.
