This course is a developmental reading course designed to help students build the skills needed for reading college level texts. English 001 is the first of three developmental courses. However, the information contained can be used for all three courses.

The podcasts are prerecorded and many of the audio podcasts contained have PDF files designed to be used together. The PDF files will allow the listener to read the examples used in the podcasts and practice the skills discussed.
