    Thanks for 2024 Paris Paralympics!
Thanks so very much for your 2024 Paris Paralympics episodes, especially the deep dive in Goalball with Callahan Young to help me understand the game and strategies, but also with Jeff Waldmuller, the amputee athlete and prosthetist, and Ottobock’s equipment repair tent in Paris and some of the evolutionary changes in prosthetics over the recent years. Thanks for Chris’ interviews with the Paris Paralympic athletes! I wish more were available.

    Unbelievable
Those comments which said that China is cheating are idiots.Come on,pick up your brains and eyes then watch the game clearly.Don’t be a blinder.

    Lauren’s great… the content isn’t
Can we get some better updates? Like what happened in the prior days events? Or what’s coming up today? How about some stories that actually go in depth on the athletes? Such shallow/useless stories being told. After each episode I find myself saying “who cares??”

    Simone biles is great
The rest of them that where the competition cheated

    Terrible!!!!!!!!!!
Every time I open iTunes I see a picture of the 'brave' gymnast who quit on her teamates.

    Disappointing
I can’t find any decent Olympic podcast, this one is short, irrelevant, random content with tons of commercials. Where is the breakdown of who won, what’s going on, the excitement?
  • AudibleAngel
    Mostly commercials
Commercial every few minutes, not worth it

    Good for the Olympics anyway...
I was disappointed this didn't continue for the Paralympics. The preview episode made me think it would. How is that a "preview"?
  • rtsimmel
    Has made my Olympics better!
So great to wake up every morning and listen to this on my way to work. I feel up to speed on everything going on despite the time difference. Thanks for this great podcast NBC!

It's a good daily update of the Olympics
This is a good daily update of the 2018 Winter Olympics. I really enjoyed the Gus Kenworthy interview (even shared that one), otherwise not spectacular. Also they have some editing problems -- in that sometimes there will be multiple tracks playing at the same time (this has happened several times, not just a one time occurrence)

    Fantastic
Great way to keep one step ahead of all of my family on olympics knowledge so I can one-up them on Olympics random facts and info. For example, I was able to share the slope style skiing involves skis with rounded backs so skiers can ski backwards! Also learned about the Dinner Roll jump. Please keep it up! Hard to miss a day because it’s so current.

    Inconsistent quality
I like the idea and most of the content, but the sound quality and volume is never consistent and there are sometimes awkward transitions between audio clips. Could be better.

Love it but fix the sound
I LOVE the Olympics and I LOVE podcasts so this is the perfect combo of two of my favorite things. I’ve had a blast listening to each episode and can’t wait to continue on through the remainder of the Olympics. My only gripe is that you guys HAVE to fix the sound. During episode 3 there were moments where I had the volume all the way up to the farthest it would go and it still wasn’t loud enough. There were other times during the episode where I had to turn it down again. This makes for an annoying listening experience and should definitely be able to be fixed. I listen to tons of podcasts and they’re producing and editing both in a studio and on the road and this is not something I’ve experienced before.
  • Esandoe
    Can’t hear
Episode three was impossible to hear.
  • boothdweller87
    Pleas fix audio!!!!
I’m really enjoying the content of this podcast, but the audio is horrendous. I have to turn up the volume on my device almost to max for sections, but then have to slam it off when it jumps to another segment that is louder.
  • Mendy's Banya
    Exciting??? Uh, NO.
Just the leftist media with an agenda on tape delay, blandly giving us a daily update of events that happened hours ago. Easier just to hit Twitter, see if there’s something u like, & if so, watch the event on YouTube, hopefully brought to you by a international “pool camera” w/o the political BS. Life is stressful. We watch tv to escape.
  • MargeS6623
    Great podcast
I’m really enjoying these podcasts as a way to keep up with the Olympics. Since no one can watch all day, I feel like I’m not missing anything.
  • kate(aka dog whisperer
    So much cool stories
I love this one out of all of them 🤗💋👍🏻❤️
  • Bookshelves91
    So excited!
I am so glad that The Podium is a podcast that you can listen to. I can't wait the daily updates from the games!
  • RaleighReview
    Love daily update
I love the daily update, in-depth segments and the host is great. Segments are edited a bit too choppy, however. I’d prefer less recorded interview bites and just allow host to summarize. Also, would like a daily summary of all events taking place - just to get a better grounding of where we are at and what is to come.
  • sskennel
    Ugh
NBC has taken the least interesting aspect of their Olympics coverage - emotionally manipulative athlete profiles - and built an entire podcast around them. It's annoying to listen to and ultimately pointless.
  • lellingw
    Great choice of Guests.
This is not a slick promotional podcast but an in-depth podcast on the Olympics, athletes, South Korea, North Korea and includes a Korean-American author, an expert on North Korea, an NBC announcer for the opening ceremony, commentators on ice skating and others. Not perfect but wonderful.
  • mademoisellenoellle
    What’s with the weird host?
Love the guests/reporters. The main host’s voice is obviously not recorded with the same settings. It’s jarring. Makes the experience a bit irritating. Can you just let the reporters tell the story without interruption from the host??
  • Patdesignsinc
    Good
    I dog it
  • Tmye
    Adjust
Great content but whatever is being used to produce volume for the listener needs to be adjusted. I had to turn it up almost to max in my car. Where I normally have it set for other podcasts, I could hardly hear it.
  • kendraslo
    Quite monotone
I know they don’t choose guests by how entertaining they are to listen to, but I’d hope the host would at least make up for a boring monotone guest. He doesn’t. I listen to a lot of tech news podcasts, and none are as bleak, boring, and monotone as this. They need to get some enthusiasm and lighten up. Have a drink pre-show!
  • Zommgirl
    Remember to cover Dog Meat
South Korea is a dog eating country. Millions of dogs & cats are tortured & killed every year. The videos/pictures are horrible. They’ll seer your brain. President of South Korea, Moon Jae-in has done absolutely about it. Ghandi once said “the greatness of a nation & it’s moral progress can be judged by the way it’s animals are treated.” South Korea’s underbelly is not so far from their cousin North Korea.
  • AP Keaton
    Exciting stuff!
Lots of good pre-Olympics content to get you psyched up, and daily updates from the games!
