T100 - Celebrating 100 years since the birth of Alan Turing

2012 marks the centenary of the birth of Alan Turing, an event being celebrated worldwide. Turing is regarded by many as the originator of modern computing.

His work had a strong influence in several fields: mathematics, logic, cryptography and morphogenesis, but it is perhaps in the field of computer science that his legacy has been the most profound.
