    Terrible show descriptions
Every single show description is this: Crawlspace’s Chloe Canter along with her identical sister……. Look, when people browse the podcasts they are searching for clues as to what each show is about. What kind of show description is this? The shame of it is that this happens to be a pretty good podcast. But boy you need to get cracking on the promotion end.

    Casey Anthony mention
girls … you call yourself a true crime podcast, but literally got the most simple facts and details from arguably THE MOST INFAMOUS TRUE CRIME CASE in recent history. im like annoyed about it 😂 research better twinniezzz.

    What a dynamic duo!
These sisters dig deep to find the truth!

    Not very good
I listen to several True Crime podcasts for reference…I just can’t get past their voices & tone. Content-wise, the facts are super basic with minimum information. Seems very unprofessional and their conversations have nothing new to add. No need to subscribe, as there are several very well done TC podcasts out there!!!

True Crime Twins: Truly Great Podcast
True Crime Twins Podcast, from Crawlspace Media, with identical twin sister hosts Chloe & Melina Canter, is an intelligent & empathetic true crime show. Both sisters have a medical background that makes for a unique take on the cases that they cover. They shine a light on cases that often do not get the coverage that they deserve. TCT is one of the best podcasts out there!

    Another great episode
Excellent coverage of this case where justice certainly hasn’t been served. Love the attention to detail and passion for justice.

The crime is these two podcasting
Content lacks sources. They literally talk about nothing the entire time. Referring to these grown women who lost their lives as girls. Disrespectful. If you listen, Melina sounds like she drinks, actually she definitely is an alcoholic. Just two silver spoon airheads complaining back and forth.

    Slow down your speech
Slow the heck down and stop being being so judgmental. Too one sided. Be objective. These twins are the do racist and biased. No thought process going on…rambling and lack of any critical thinking or intelligence. Will be taking this one out of my library and find a better podcast.

    Nope
Boring No real content, just 2 amateurs throwing around judgemental rants without any real facts

    Missing Substance
The known facts from a google search are repeated but nothing more. Even the discussions are superficial and don’t express a credible point of view.

    annoying
They never stay on track , don’t seem interested in what they’re discussing . If you’re looking for a good crime podcast listen to Crime Junkie
  • OldHaeg
    Eh
You seem nice and personable but honestly can’t get past you repeatedly referring to grown women as girls.

    Love this show!
Really appreciate their take on Popular cases and learning more about the ones I Don’t know about.

    Hartford murders
The cop killed the pregnant “prostitutes” and other women because he didn’t want the possibilty of paying more child support to the women he raped. You said he was raping prostitutes and other women and that’s your theory on why he killed his wife or girl friend buried in NJ.

    CITE YOUR SOURCES
Don’t claim theories that aren’t you’re own just because crime junkie gets away with it

    Do not bother
I just listened to my first and last True Crime Twins episode (Missing Lauren Spierer). Ladies, please don’t pick a case and simply regurgitate the timeline and common theories. There are countless podcasts on this case already and you didn’t contribute anything interesting to make it worthwhile to the listener. Also, the sound quality on this episode was poor/distracting. We’re you both talking on a phone? Your voices went in and out and were flat.

What happened? Random schedule & shallow “research”
February 2020: sigh, yes I’m a Californian, and in general when one says “the Valley” (remember valley girls?) they are referring to the San Fernando valley — NOT where Mitrice was found, which is in an extremely isolated and lonely area. The wild comments about “porn being made in those houses” just sounded absurd — are we in the Big Lebowski now? You also seem to have the blinders on of young people who don’t understand how quickly nature can turn against you — especially when one is in an impaired state mentally. I have spent a lot of time hiking in Yosemite, and I’ve seen bad things happen to *prepared* hikers. If Mitrice had say sprained or even broken her ankle out there in that very rugged landscape (it is a very lonely area) she would have not been able to rescue herself. I think what happened to Mitrice is tragic, and I think the sheriff etc did not follow proper protocols. However I think it is fairly obvious she died from exposure, meaning hypothermia, which is much more deadly than it seems most people realize (and yes the shedding of clothes is a sign of its final stages). This podcast has not improved. This is a vanity project — two true crime dilettantes cover very well-known cases on a random schedule (once a month at most). They offer NOTHING new. This is not a serious true crime podcast as the hosts post under-developed “episodes,” which cover cases already covered in great depth by other podcasts, on a totally random schedule. This “podcast” seems to exist just to enable the two hosts, who work for other podcasters, to experiment occasionally with podcasting. The result is not worth anyone’s time. Many podcasts have covered the Mitrice Richardson case, which is a very important case, and I found their extremely brief discussion of it superficial and not illuminating. The most recent episode is a perfect example of the issues that cripple this podcast — they seem to think they can just wing it and produce a better podcast than anyone else, which is just arrogant and incorrect. Then there is their discussion of the disappearance of Kyron Horman, a child when he vanished years ago, which is also a very complex case. It is worth serious attention, and other serious true crime podcasts have covered the case in detail. Even Dr. Phil did a (rather good) multi-episode series on Kyron’s disappearance. This podcast tosses out one thirty minute episode on this case after months of nothing, adds zero to the discussion and covers no new ground, and then just drops it. Again. If you are content with getting one short episode that covers cases already discussed by other true crime podcasts, then I suppose you should subscribe. Otherwise there are many excellent true crime podcasts; this is definitely not one of them. The poster who criticized Sarah Turney for using “vulgarity” is an idiot. Sarah is out there asking questions, raising awareness, discussing her missing (and very likely murdered) sister in addition to calling out her appalling father. This is a man who videotaped his daughters, displayed as sorts of bizarre and abusive behavior, and very likely molested Alissa. He was also the last person to see Alissa — the day he claims that she just decided to run away and vanish completely. Get over yourself. Sarah wants justice for her sister — who cares if she uses a “vulgar”term? How old are you and why are you listening to true crime podcasts if certain words trouble you so much? This podcast had promise but the hosts didn’t seem to be investing much effort into developing their presentation and of course their own abilities as writers and proper researchers. They only released one episode a month, which isn’t enough to sustain a true crime podcast when there are so many out there that deliver excellent episodes weekly — both indie and well-sponsored podcasters featuring professional journalists. Now they seem to have just abandoned the podcast altogether, which seems very flakey to me.

    Best Jonbenet podcast ever
This was the best episode on that case, and definitely you guys’ best episode! You should disagree more often! Seriously though, just you guys bouncing stuff off each other like that pares everything down and gets to the main points that others take much longer to do. The fact that you’re twins and don’t have to feign politeness and are already in tune with each other made me realize that other people can do that at times. I really like the way you treat each other and you’re both quite intelligent also! Oh, I used to agree with Chloe vaguely, but after I read John Douglas’s views on the case, he made me think it through and I think the nature of the crime is clearly sexual and the idea of one of her parents garroting her, from either anger or to cover up an accident, becomes absurd. So I think it’s someone like a colleague of the father’s-not a stranger but not her family.

    Yikes
Seems very amateur. The whole “chloe reads a line, then Melina reads a line” is Elementary school group project presentation-ish. I like scripted podcasts, but this isn’t done right, which makes it choppy, awkward and seem robotic. The music seems pretty unnecessarily peppy and comes on at inappropriate times. I would study some other podcasts ie; Truecrime Junkies before continuing. Everything put together, I didn’t last 5 minutes for one episode.

    One of my favorites
It’s like that perfect dish. You don’t want it all the time or you will get sick of it, but when you order it every so often it’s incredible.

    Double true crime pleasure
Well done, ladies! Well researched, good music, a unique take on true crime stories. Awesome insight from these two hosts and very intriguing, well picked cases. Won’t be missing an episode! Miranda Light the Fright Podcast

    Alissa Turney
I loved the way you presented this case. After listening to Miss Turney on another podcast I was totally turned off by her representation. As I am a Phoenix resident this case especially interested me. I remember it well. Thank you for a fair representation without the constant vulgarity used by Alissa’s sister on other podcasts. Those representations clouded the facts of the case. Great job!

    Great show!
Love what these two are doing! My only complaint is so much time between episodes!! We want more true crime twins!!!

    True Crime Twins
These gals are great- no silly chatter. If you appreciate articulate hosts who get the story across & relay a lot of facts, this is the true crime podcast for you.

    Great!
Giving a five star rating because I think this has potential to be great! Love the psychological aspects and seemed well researched. The beginning seemed like a book report being read but I’m sure that will improve as they go along. Love that it’s from two women, they can give a female’s perspective which I think is missing in a lot of crime podcasts and, more importantly, investigations.

Hosts are ok but speculating on a murderer and stating he’s going through PSYCHOSIS , come on !!! Talking to someone on the phone for 40 minutes isn’t a podcast , get an editor .

    Chloe AND Melina
Love Chloe and now we get both she and Melina together. They come at the case prepared, educated in psychological fields and as a bonus, wielding twin mind radar. Great podcast and Captain’s theme is very jib catchy. Crank faster ladies.

Another favorite to add to my rotation
I found this podcast through Crawlspace. The first episode was great. Well researched. I’m looking forward to hearing more!

    Season 1 Episode 1
In regards to the first episode, if she were having a heavy period, there might not be signs of forced sex. Just a thought to explain away the doubters. Keep it up! So cool you two went into fields that support each other. My twin went into criminal justice and I went into nursing then public teaching. 🤔
  • TroyinIA
    Great new podcast.
If the first episode is any indication, this will become one of my regular podcast. Well researched and presented extremely well.
  • HeddleOh
    I’m hooked
I love the podcast. Keep up the good work. I’d like to hear more dialogue between you two like you did near the end of the episode.👍
  • resistimpulse
    Pretty dope! Kinda weird.
Pretty awesome that one of them has medical training that comes in handy for reading autopsy reports. Kinda odd having twins with similar voices. I pulse hear a slight difference btwn the two of you but it will take time. Please please keep introducing each other when going into monologue segments so we can get grounded on which voice belongs to which twin. Tysm!
