The Franke Program in Science and the Humanities at Yale hosts thinkers and writers to participate in conversations with Yale faculty and other invited guests. Michael Pollan and Stephen Pinker have both been featured guests for such events in the past. The Franke Program in Science and the Humanities is a new initiative at Yale that aims to foster communication, mutual understanding, collaborative research and teaching among diverse scientific and humanistic disciplines. It is made possible by the generosity of Richard (‘53) and Barbara Franke.
