LTT10Very interesting!More stories please.
-
alan e nmoreThis is excellent. I sure hope for future seasons.
-
Bryan_MessiMusic???The content is beyond perfect. Well structured podcast. But to me, the music makes this a bit hard to listen to. Listening details of a MURDER to funky music isn’t my linking.
-
californiagurl80Keep your political views to yourselfDidn’t appreciate blaming former President for “Asian Hare Crimes” in episode 2 and will not be listening.
-
lizmeister7Fascinating episodesLooking in hindsight, these analyses are truly helpful in understanding what the law is supposed to do. It’s gotten so convoluted, it seems, and subject to tricks, performance, foppish disgusting behavior. I can only hope that Preet et al. will present the fall of tRUmp, the kids, Barr, Stone, Flynn, Bannon, and the GOP in similar future episodes.

CJListens1Fantastic!Easy to listen to and follow. Great stories. I wish there were more episodes.
-
WeatfyhGreatest! Podcast!I wish he would write more books and tell more stories of his life prosecuting scum. It is well done and I thank them.
-
koko915Great podcastThis was a sit in the driveway kind of podcast for every episode. The last one though is everything. Thank for these moments.
-
Ansorbed ListenerFabulous!Fabulous! Enough said.
-
PhlashphelpsBravo!Another must-listen-to podcast from Preet. Tight, interesting story telling.

Rhinestone Romey theMystery. Suspense. Justice. This is a wonderful series, well-written, often funny, often wrenching, true-life cases of real people looking for justice. Engrossing. Amazing. And very, very, New York: has a kind of hard-boiled 40’s police detective vibe that I just love.

TressaMNGrade AOkay. I listen to a LOTTA case file/real crime podcasts. (What else to do at 4:30am in a pandemic?) I’m a regular con-a-sewer. Smile. Most podcasts are junk, told in ramble-on, slow motion just to fill time, made by bloggers who have no business ever speaking into a mic. Not this one. PB gets to the point, keeps it moving, is succinct. The horn section helps. There is no better feel-good tale to be told than an against-the-odds exoneration of an innocent person who gets out of the pokey for a crime they didn’t commit. Keep ‘em coming.

CharleyjetCompellingJust listened to the first episode. As a former Brooklyn ADA I found it quite gripping. 👍
-
LALTLTExceptional and unique seriesEpisodes focus on one story at a time - great for bite-sized stories, all very moving and exciting, almost like spy stories, but with morals and practical information about the US legal system. Highly recommend!
-
mkfloresThanks for taking the time!I have heard so much about Preet B. In the news. I am so happy to find this podcast. Such an intelligent, thoughtful, and ethical man. Helps restore my faith in our justice system!!!
-
dtscanloSmart podcast with praise worthy overarching moralsPreet does a superb job overall. Love the way he presents challenging moral questions and interweaves them through each episode (e.g., episode 3’s discussion on pre-crime). He also does an excellent job in answering the next logical question that pops into the listener’s mind. Great so far.

September1950Listen to this!Intelligent and interesting.
-
JazzCriticEverything about this......simply rocks. It’s like a cheesy crime podcast except that it’s interesting and written exceptionally well with first hand knowledge.
-
TojomamaAMAZINGThis is riveting. Amazing story telling. Will have to read the book, too!
-
Rexy2019Great Listen!Well done!

Wrigs-n-CoopTerrificThoughtful, ethical analysis. Preet is a national treasure.
-
Joey 2050Go forbid! So well done - dramatized. I remember this tragic story. And still, I was sitting on the edge of my seat. These podcasts truly are amazing!

aaron569494interestingvery entertaining and informative
-
veronicathecatGood stuffJust trying to get the word out about this well produced podcast. Preet, don’t get your feelings 😔 hurt as you recently mentioned (or, maybe overly competitive on this, just saying). Probably everyone’s already read the book and that’s a good thing, right?
-
stoman12What a great episode! With each I find that I can’t stop listening- I want to know what happened and don’t want to be interrupted by anything!
-
ExtramissionLove this showIt is so nice to hear Preet host a narrative podcast. The book was so good and the podcast is even better.
-
Remoh CuzAwesomeI could listen to this all day. Now interested in his book.
-
echo dogMust listen ! Even if you’ve read the book.Wasn’t sure I’d bother since I (pre ordered and devoured) read the book. But I love Preet so have it a go. Super super. Will definitely keep going and share!
-
SeamusddMy new favorite podcast! This entire pandemic has allowed me even more time to listen to podcasts and I listened to a ton before Covid! I love all things Preet and his team at Cafe and this one is the cream of the crop!
-
rawr and a halfEven better than the bookGreat podcast. The book was fascinating and as a lawyer who doesn’t practice in the criminal justice system I learned a lot from it — but the podcast brings the stories alive with interviews with the people involved along with Preet’s insights. Highly recommended.
-
Les S, MDLes S MDRiveting Preet! Sharing stories like Eric’s and much of what you’ve been doing since being pushed out from SDNY gives me great hope during these challenging times in this country. Please keep pushing ahead to help educate us all. Thank you!
-
lightscriptorThank you DJT?!Indirectly, we have DJT to thank for the Cafe.com Podcasts and the Doing Justice Book
-
magic meadowWell done! For anyone who read the book it is very worthwhile to listen to the podcast. I didn’t realize Preet would bring in the participants of the cases be they the victim, the prosecutor, the investigator etc. Their voices add so much to the reality of the cases. And they are so well produced, special shout out for the music production and mix. Thanks to the whole team.
-
Printer mdDoing justiceI really enjoyed this podcast. It was presented in an entertaining way but about a very serious injustice that was righted! It was most insightful as to corruption in our New York legislature. And I am sure that there is corruption in many other state legislatures Thank you Preet for this presentation!!!
-
Nina CocodrilaLove this podcastWish there were more eps so I could binge listen all day. Compelling and perfect storytelling. I can imagine a big Hollywood movie for each episode.
-
maddielen55RivetingThis was an insightful eye opener! What an amazing story of integrity and perseverance. I was equally captivated by the way Eric chose to use the unfortunate circumstances to better himself. And the west that John and Margaret wouldn’t back down until justice was served. Great episode. Thank you.
-
algalhiWow! What a Podcast!I love Preet’s other 2 podcasts. This one has amazing production values and we get to actually hear the people involved in the story. Great first episode that is near and dear to my heart - about a wrongful conviction and the prosecutors who went the extra mile to right the wrong.
-
janejusticeTerrific narrativeStory is compelling and heart-wrenching but the telling is superb. Excellent writing , delivery, and production.
-
nn squaredEpisode 1 hooked me...The first episode was very compelling...leave it to Preet to offer up humanity as the source of justice...well done...
-
OnlyinmydreamsInspiringJust the first episode convinces me that there are still ethical people who will do the right thing regardless of time, effort or ego. Thank you Preet!!
-
TayvallichLove Doing Justice PodcastAnother fabulous podcast from the incomparable Preet Bharara. Thank-you!
-
ESK12321232123Preet does it again!I have been an avid Preet podcast listener from the beginning - seeing Preet live, becoming an “Insider” and now I’m a fan of Doing Justice too. Great first episode! I’m so impressed with the resilience and grace shown by Eric Glisson and the resolve of the people on the outside working to prove his innocence. Great job Preet!!

ScottNelsonI never had a Podcast make me cry…Wow. We go to the movies to see fake super heroes, not realizing there are real super heroes walking among us. The story of a man wrongly incarcerated for 17 years cannot be comprehended by any of us who have never seen the inside of a prison, much less been convicted of a crime we did not commit and then sentenced to 25 years to life. But the moment when a federal prosecutor tells him that he believes he is innocent is enough to make me get misty eyed just thinking about it. Kudos to all that were involved in freeing this man. A terrible injustice was done, but thanks to all of you, it was much less worse than it could have been. You are all super, human heroes.
-
ClairBear1166Compelling. Very! This first episode is so compelling and I find myself feeling more empathetic by understanding that justice, despite all the best intentions, can get it wrong.
-
MehealGreat even if you already know the stories!Longtime Bharara fan here. Gobbled up the book shortly after it came out and loved it. Skeptical about the podcast — thought it would be a yawn if the content simply replicated what was in the book. Well. Hearing these stories in the words and voices of the people were involved/affected was so powerful it brought me to tears more than once. Can’t wait for the next episode to drop. Fascinating AND such a comfort to know that there are folks so deeply committed to doing the right thing. Thank you, Preet and all.

Amylynn1414EquityPreet—-hope you have some equity in Cafe. Another winner for you and the team.
-
jaypeegee55Outstanding AND great music!I knew this podcast would be great. The book was fantastic, and, well, it’s Preet Bharara. What surprised me was the very cool music. But again, it’s Preet, so we shouldn’t be surprised at that. Thanks for this inspiring and entertaining podcast. Looking forward to more.
