Randomly found this podcast on a roadtrip through Norway, and it saved the trip! This trio is hilarious! Can’t say I was a diehard TC fan before, but now I’m manifesting the moment I finally meet him too. Also… the halo jump. Wow. He. Is. The. Man!!!

The guest stories about tom are typically fun and interesting and worth the listen. The hosts can be overbearing. I get the fandom and it’s point surrounding the podcast and the tom obsession but the frantic school girl vibe turned to 11 every second does get old.

Listened to each show as it came out during season 1 and absolutely loved it. But season 2 never came… why? Would have been absolutely perfect last year, running alongside Top Gun Mavericks massive success. We need to hear from these guys again, it’s been a huge Tom Cruise year. And there has to be a proper end to this story, them meeting Tom Cruise.

There is literarily nothing worth hearing about Tom Cruise in this posdcast. Anderson mentions Cruise for 10 seconds and the rest of his over 1h long interview is about himself which was super boring. The only episode that was about Tom was the last one with Rosie O’donnell. I think this podcast was created so the hosts could have a platform to talk about themselves.

I just discovered this podcast! It is so good, why have there not been any episodes since August of 2021? You really need to continue with a second season of Meeting Tom Cruise...

I am a HUGE Tom Cruise and Top Gun Fan this was awesome!

After seeing Top Gun Maverick last week, I began scouring the web for anything related to TC. I’m so elated to find MTC! You have been such a joy to listen to, and so needed in this dark world. This is the podcast I never knew I needed, and I wish I could give it infinite stars. I too love the Cruise, and adore the unabashed enthusiasm and pure fanboy energy these guys have. Literally makes me laugh out loud on my tube commute, and now I’m gonna need this to never not be made 🤣

No other podcast has ever provoked my excitement for a new episode the way Meeting Tom Cruise has done. Myself and a handful of my friends share the same love and passion for Mr. Cruise and his films, and now this podcast. The excitement and banter brought on by all three hosts is incredible. This pod is a must-listen! Can’t wait for season 2!

These guys are the definition of "unabashed" and it's awesome. Tom Cruise is a great person to be obsessed with and they show you why. Listen to this podcast and laugh into the wee hours of the night. I really hope they meet Tom and he becomes a regular member of the crew. That would be super meta. Great show gents!

This man is at the very least complicit and at the worst has multiple people’s blood on his hands. Well researched New Yorker article has unpaid laborers building him a car. Not funny.

It’s silly, it’s fun, it’s smart and I keen about things I never even thought about before — auditioning, production, rehearsals, filming movies, in addition to the fun and crazy stories about Tom Cruise who I don’t even care that much about before I started listening. Saw this on a list somewhere and gave it a shot. It’s now one of my favorites especially if I need a little pick me up. I love it. I love Jeff the most. Didn’t know him before this. He’s funny without trying too hard. Knew Joel from Mrs. Maisel and he’s a good foil. Love the rapport w their producer who seems like most men in the room when this would be being discussed. I LOVE IT. Thank you. Totally unexpected goodness. And, Jeff, Top Gun is the greatest movie of all time.

This came recommended to me by my sister. I absolutely love the chemistry between Jeff, Joel, and Alec, love that they have such a good time talk about Tom. And of course hearing the stories from their guests is awesome.

Found this via the Light The Fuse, and I have nothing but glowing praise. The world needs this level of unfettered, unhinged and unadulterated thirst, and Joel and Jeff deliver. I love a good hyperfixation, and this podcast is 110 percent validation and makes me feel like a million bucks. I absolutely wish I could be a guest on this podcast, but being in the audience of a Tom Cruise appearance probably isn't enough to make the cut.... even if it is a good story. Good Luck Joel and Jeff, I love you guys!

I “liked” Tom Cruise before this pod cast and respected him as a hard working actor and producer….but when my wife (who hasn’t seen most Tom Cruise movies) said I had to listen to this podcast I was curious and confused. Now when people ask for pod cast recommendations I put this on my list with Joe Rogen, Story Corp and moth radio… below those but up there:) the hosts Jeff, Joel and Aleck are always a treat to listen to, I’ve learned things I didn’t really want to know but had fun doing it and my wife and I enjoy listening to ever episode together. Keep up the great work guys and I hope you get to meet the man soon. We are rooting for you!

Stumbled upon this from Dan Patrick show. I love the hilarious interaction of the hosts. The structure of the show is great. The whole idea is just awesome. Always makes me laugh after long work days. Ive always enjoyed Cruise the actor. Great to hear more about the person. I’m curious if you’ll dive more into some of the controversies such as the scientology thing. Keep up the great work!!

I don’t find the hosts funny at all. I have yet to chuckle at anything they talk about. That being said I enjoy the actors talking about their interactions with Tom Cruise. I have finally compromised by just skipping the first half and the end parts when the guest stops talking.

My wife made me listen to one podcast and I was hooked! Even if you don’t care about Tom Cruise(inconceivable) you will laugh out loud. My favorite moment is when they meet Tom’s free fall instructor/cameraman. I can listen to it over and over.

I am listening from the beginning to Meeting Tom Cruise. I came straight from Roots of Evil podcast and only after listening you guys, I’ve realized what most of podcast offerings are missing: the good lighthearted fun. I know, the word “superficial” brings bad connotations but this world really needs just that: quality entertainment that is nothing more than what meets the eye. I also love the fact that the makers of the podcast not just aware of this but acknowledged it too. At one point either Jef or Joel said: “God, can we be more superficial than this?” I love the stories, the more detailed the better laugh I get out of it. Thinking the Kevin Pollak episoeds writing this. Funny that most of your guests describes Mr Cruise walking into a place like the descendence of immortal being. When I saw him in real life, I walked past him before realizing it. But I guess, that’s charisma, it’s there when he wants it to be turned on. Kudos for leaving religion out of this, it’s much appreciated. Just listening to the two of you keep bouncing off each other I am thinking “Well, it pretty much sounds like a shallow morning show on commercial radio that I hate! Yet you guys make it work big time for me. So keep it superficial, keep it cruisin’!

I am a huge Tom Cruise fan and I love the behind the scenes stories. Every episode I listen to I think that’s the best one and then the next one gets better. Keep it up this is a great podcast. For the love of God, it’s Penny Benjamin, not Patty. You guys are supposed to be ultimate fans and you don’t know Top Gun dialogue. Come on Jeff!!

I’m not even a Tom Cruise fan but I’m a fan of this podcast. It’s wholesome and hilarious, a love letter to the movies. The interviews are fun and interesting, and give you an inside scoop into the film industry as a whole, even if Tom Cruise doesn’t float your boat! The hosts Jeff and Joel are charming, charismatic, and consistently funny. The producer Alek who chimes in occasionally is a wry, straight-shooting genius. I can’t stop listening and I seriously don’t think I could be less interested in Tom Cruise. But the few good men of this podcast have accomplished a mission impossible, and found a dedicated and delighted fan in me. Highly recommend!

This is the best podcast ever created! I hope this goes on forever because these stories are incredible and Tom Cruise is the closest thing we have to a superhero. I’ve always said Tom is the only real movie star. He cares so much about “us” the audience that when he makes a movie he actually makes it! I want to be on this podcast! I share the same enthusiasm for the Man the Myth the Legend! Thanks for making this, I too dream of the day I can say “let me tell you about the time I met Tom Cruise” and this podcast brings me vicariously closer each episode. My personal favs are Days of Thunder, Top Gun, all the MI’s (except maybe MI2), Few Good Men, and his most underrated performance as Lex Grossman in Tropic Thunder! Keep it going guys and I hope 3 things happen after this review. 1. I get to be on here as a guest telling my Tom Story. 2. You get Tom on the show and finally get to meet him. 3. The Tom episode is 6+ hrs long

These guys are absolutely hilarious!!! I love their enthusiasm and knowledge about Tom Cruise. I feel the same way about Mr. Cruise....well almost. A must listen!!! It’s the Cruisiest homage to the movie star ever.

I love true crime podcasts, and long, in-depth interviews that dive deep into life’s big questions (religion, philosophy, history)... This podcast is not that. And yet... For some reason, listening to these guys chat about their obsession with Tom Cruise, and hearing the guest stars talk about Meeting Tom Cruise continues to put a big fat Tom Cruise Smile on my face! I feel like I’m just hanging out with my idiot friends.

The chemistry is natural, you can tell these guys have been friends for a while, but the content, while you may think the premise is silly, is just gold. Keep it up guys, and you *will* be meeting Tom Cruise soon! Living your best PTC Life. 😂

I heard an ad for this podcast and immediately searched for it. It didn’t disappoint. Every episode is like sitting down and talking to your best buds about movies, just specifically Tom Cruise movies. It’s a fun time and the guys seem great. I’ve listened (and enjoyed) every episode but what sold me on leaving a review finally was a recent episode when the guys took pause to stand against Asian hate. Always a light hearted podcast but this showed big heart. Tom would be proud. I hope you guys meet him one day, even if it means the podcast may end or need a slight change in direction. Thanks for the AAPI support. You’ve got a fan for life.

Hi Guys (not you Alek or whatever your name is ), I heard the commercials on other podcasts and I was like “your gonna do whaaattt!” I was ready to hit the breaks and fly right by, but I had to hear at least 1 episode to see what it was about... obviously CRUISE. I turned on the high speed in your face podcast and I was immediately in for the ride in the TOMCat and listened to the whole catalog in one sitting. There are some many interesting stories and I can’t wait to hear the rest of the thunder. Keep up the hard work and maybe...definitely one day you will need the legend himself...TOM CRUISE. Josh

Can’t hype this podcast enough - love it more than an unnecessary yet very necessary beach volleyball scene in a movie that’s not about the beach or sports.

I listen to A LOT of podcasts and this one is definitely the funniest I’ve found. I look forward to Tom Cruise Tuesday every week now and can’t wait to hear Jeff and Joel cry tears of joy when they finally get to meet the man, the myth and the legend (no, not THAT Legend. GOD, that movie is UNWATCHABLE). Thanks for inspiring me to revisit some of the classics and discover the true meaning of the Cruise Way. I can't believe I am saying this but this podcast, Meeting Tom Cruise, is brilliant. Not necessarily in an intelligent way but rather it’s hilarity, uniqueness and charm. I have never written a review before (except that one time my son got lost in the ball pit at IKEA) but felt compelled to share my enthusiasm for Meeting Tom Cruise. I am going to be bold and truthful here, this podcast gives me life. I have a terminal illness and besides spending time with my kids I choose to listen each week to these three humans, well, two humans and a Jeff. Nothing would bring me more joy than to witness these guys finally meeting Tom Cruise. More than the Toronto Maple Leafs winning the Stanley Cup. More than Aaron Rogers winning another Super Bowl or more than a sequel to the Mummy. I have very few days left on this planet and my Make-A-Wish is for them to finally meet Tom Cruise. Let’s take this one step further. I hope this all unfolds on the Oprah show. I imagine myself in the audience watching all the magic and charisma unfold. Then afterwards go back to the green room and have wheelchair races with Tom and the boys around the studio as the man himself tells us grand stories about his time on Born On the Fourth of July. This is my one wish. And when I return home there is a mystery package left for me at my front door. It is a gift from Tom Cruise of a new motorized wheelchair that has Goose engraved on the side. I know this all sounds wacky and elaborate but knowing the special Ora of Tom Cruise this could actually happen! This is the gift he gives us. He makes us feel anything is possible and we are all special. A man can dream. And for the record my two dark-horse Tom Cruise films are Minority Report and Day After Tomorrow. My favorite Cruise movie is A Few Good Men, The Kevin Polluck episode is perfection. This review will self destruct in five seconds. 💥
