    Has potential
Host has great guests and insightful conversations, but talks about himself way too much while talking to high profile guests. I’m not listening to hear about the host, only about the guests. The host is trying to relate to the guests but often ends up on minutes long tangents.

    Great content.
So thankful for the content on this show. Both entertaining and very motivating Ric provides insight into other creatives life stories thus giving the listeners perspective and perhaps even some guidance. Oh , great sound quality too. Thanks Ric!

    Excellent
Erudite and engaging, this is one of the best photography interview podcasts that I've found. Mr. Stovall makes every conversation feel as though he's talking to a friend.

Only creative podcast I can listen to
Ric does an amazing job of having the conversations with all these tallented photographers/creators that we would all love to have. It's the same conversations I would have if I ran into one of these guests in person. Keep up the great work, Ric! PS. It's refreshing to hear a podcast host NOT trying to figure out how all the photographers make money but, what shaped them into the professional they are today.

Dear host, ask a question and then listen.
Great concept, but the host needs to get out of the way. We want to hear from the guests, their stories. Please stop interrupting them and going off on tangents, trying to relate. Let them talk. Ask a question and get out of the way. And you should jump straight into the interview, drop the long unnecessary solo intro. Keep it up, just change your mode of interaction.

    Great Inspiration
I love this podcast and how down to earth Rick is. The conversations are real and inspiring. It's actually nice to have a longer podcast to listen to as well since most are 30 minutes or less. You really get to dig deeper into the stories of the amazing creatives. Every podcast is like a refresher for me to make something of my own career in photography. Thanks for all the work you put into creating such an inspiring show Rick! You're the best!

Great listen, whether you’re a photographer/videographer/visual creative or not
Great interviews with a wide variety of visual creatives. It’s really great to hear their stories and get some insights into not only what makes them tick professionally, but personally as well (and how those personal ticks affect their professional approach and vision). Thank you guys for bringing these awesome stories to the masses! As a photographer/magazine editor, it’s been a joy to hear from some of my favorite shooters, as well as many others I might never have looked up or listened to.

    So much potential
The guests are amazing and have great insight and stories. The host needs work. Please, please stop asking and answering your own questions with log back stories and leading comments. Just ask the questions and allow the guest to answer. There is no need to interview yourself, honestly listeners are not tuning in to hear your experience.

A must for all photographers and cinematographers
The list of people they've had on this show is reason enough to give this podcast a subscription and a listen. Every episode is full of history, great stories, and incredible wisdom from some of the best creatives in the game. I finish every episode inspired to continue doing what I do. I can't recommend visual revolutionary enough. Finding it was like finding buried treasure. Thanks, Rock and Kevin!

Into Photography? This is a MUST.
I stumbled upon Visual Revolutionary via Ben Moon's instagram post about it and holy hell am I impressed. As a young photographer attempting to break into the outdoor freelance industry, it's incredible to hear these unique stories from the men and women that are leading the creative front.

    Different is good!
I listen to a lot of podcasts, and many of them about photography. This one stands alone in its style. Very conversational and I love the content because they discuss the life of the photographer as well. As a long time shooter who has run the gamut from hobbiest to professional and back, I reallly appreciate the honesty of all the guests. It has really give me many insights into my own reasons for shooting, or not. Keep up the great work, your efforts are much appreciated!

    Great Opportunity to Learn
I came here wanting to hear more from Chris Burkard. I found out Visual Revolutionary had interviewed him, so I listened to that podcast, and now I'm hooked. It's amazing how much you can take away from this show, and it's helping me stay on track with my dream of becoming an outdoor photographer.

    My favorite photography related podcast
Ric and Kevin are very entertaining to listen to. The questions they ask and the responses they get in return go way beyond the typical 10 minute interview. Ric is very good at drawing out stories from people, he has the ability to put people at ease and engage them in a way where they feel safe talking and relating stories that could never be obtained in shorter interviews. The long form in depth format is great to listen to while traveling. Keep it up guys. Chris Handley

    Insight from the best.
As an up and coming photographer this podcast has been invaluable to me. It's full of insight from some of the best in the business and somehow finds a way to constantly inspire me to push myself out of my comfort zone and to work through the difficulties of a career in its infancy. You guys are doing something great, always stoked to see a new episode pop up on my feed.

    Fantastic podcast
I stumbled across this podcast whole looking for interviews of Nat Geo photographers. Great format, amazing stories. Glad it's not a tech/gear based podcast, but focuses on people and their stories. Been addicted ever since the first one I found. You guys are doing a great job. Keep'em coming!

    Essential Resource...
These podcasts are critical to providing insight into so many aspects of being a photographer or, aspiring to be a shooter at the professional level. There is a universal thread that the interviewees all share, a fact that Ric and Kevin are quick to unearth; solid friendships and loyalty, a passion for the art form and adventure, impactful mentors and a commitment to telling a story are all part of the narrative of some of the best photographers in the world. As interviews go, these are fun, insightful, starkly truthful and cutting edge. Thanks guys!

    Much needed
My absolute favorite podcast on photography. Because of their long format, they dig in deep with their interviews and show a much more honest, powerful, and ultimately rewarding portrait of many of the industry’s best outdoor photographers. Thanks guys for your work, I hope you continue on for many years!
