Just started listening, and love how well this is crafted - you can close your eyes, let the sounds wash over you and envision the world very clearly. Story is also very well crafted and thoroughly enjoyed it!!

This is a captivating and exciting sci-fy audio drama that surpassed my expectations with high quality sound effects, top notch acting and an incredibly original story. The music alone will draw you in and have you binging the first season. I’m left wanting more... can’t wait for the next episode!!!

People have misjudged this podcast. I love a good space opera and they have done it well. Give it an honest try.. you won’t regret it.

The acting, writing, sound design, and score are excellent, but I couldn’t get through the first episode because of the play by play narration, it just gets in the way too much. Will you please release a “no narrator” version for me? It sounds like there are others who would appreciate it to. There’s nothing to lose, right? Just do two versions so we can listen to whichever one we prefer...

This podcast is marvelously produced, but I’m a little disappointed with the narrator-driven descriptions! I feel like this medium has so much potential by allowing audiences to fill in the action by way of sound cues, but having someone spoon feeds us the action takes out all the fun in letting us use our own imagination. It’s a little cumbersome and does a disservice to the incredible soundtrack. Show, don’t tell!

Good voice acting and everything, but it didn’t really strike home with me. I don’t know why, but I’m just not really feeling it.

Like the title says, I wish there was more quality audio entertainment out there like this podcast. If you are a fan or Star Trek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, or any of the teeming multitude of space operas and upset that you can’t watch tv during work hours, this show is for you! I guarantee any sci-fi fan will be hooked after the first 10 minutes. And I am sure they will refund your money if you don’t (it’s free tho) so what do you have to lose? Give it a try. My only complaint is that there aren’t more episodes available atm.

This show packs a wallop. The creator clearly has a unique commitment to crafting a rich, layered world - the kind you just plain don’t get from many other places, especially in pure audio formats. The music is INSANE in this one, and the sound design for alien voices and high-stakes future firefights is next-level. Can’t wait to hear more!

Its like they spent all their budget before realizing they forgot to hire a voice actor for the narrator and so they just had some guy try his best instead.

This show is SO INCREDIBLE I resort to shouting it at people — from sound design to narration to literally a master class on world building unlike anything I may have ever heard of in sci fi fiction podcasts — this is Star Trek & Star Wars for your ears

The story is amazing! It is taking a long time in between episodes. But it would isn’t worth downgrading how good the episodes are. Please, please, PLEASE keep it up. I love the content.

Starcalled’s production quality is outstanding. The story effectively sets up a deep universe from the start. The acting is great and so is the cinematic music. It’s all there.

Strap in, because this show DOES NOT QUIT. With Tolkien-esque detail, this audio drama plays out like a major motion picture. Its immersive sound design, rich history and dynamic characters make it a goddamn rollercoaster to listen to. Get your ear-holes ready!

This show is off to such a good start! The voice acting and production value is great — especially the music. I'm immediately intrigued by the characters and the world they live in. We're given a glimpse at a much larger, more complex narrative and I can't wait to see where it goes!

They've only released one episode, but it is excellent thus far. The audio production is so good. They're aren't too many podcasts with the quality this high. We're Alive comes to mind when talking about the production quality.

I’m not a sci-if fan and I was drawn in immediately. Incredibly well produced and awesome storytelling. All in on this on!
