    Privileged woman whining
Cameron is not qualified to offer health advice but does, advertising products with incentivized kickbacks. Maybe if your husband didn't smoke and drink heavily to prop up his trad chad persona, your health might improve? This is all about a rich, privileged white woman making it all about herself, not about Catholicism.

    Thank you Cameron and Matt!
Not a long time listener, but I could accurately be described as a recent binger. I’m loving learning from both Cameron’s show, and her husband Matt’s show. She seems frank and honest in sharing about life and what she is learning/ has learned. No one is perfect but I feel like they are aiming at Godly life and doing their best to help others toward that goal, as well as exemplify how to handle it when we fall short. There were some other reviews that scoff at Cameron’s struggles with chronic illness and I’m just here to say that though I don’t know her personally, my best friend also faces serious chronic illness with vigor and grace in the way that Cameron seems to. Thank you Cameron for sharing your experience and witness! And thank you Cameron + Matt for opening yourselves up, despite the unforgiving nature of the public eye.

    Insufferable
Chronically ill? Only if conceit and arrogance are diseases. Dangerous health advice from an unqualified person plus JP2 worship is an insufferable combination.
  • postamaradulcia
    Certainly in love with herself!
Posting dozens of monetized videos claiming you have a chronic illness while obviously bouncing off the walls with health and energy (and now selling supplements) is ridiculous. If one feels like making a hundred videos whining for clicks and cash, one is not chronically ill. Furthermore, Cameron’s massive self regard makes her virtually unwatchable. I did try, but there is something very off about this “Catholic” woman.

    So encouraging and inspiring!
Cameron does an awesome job of sharing her experience as a Catholic woman and mother with charity, compassion and truth while offering other Catholic women and moms encouragement to stay true to catholic teaching! I’m so grateful to have found this podcast and have been listening and enjoying for several years now. I’ve gotten great advice and encouragement through my conversion to the faith, my engagement and now my marriage and motherhood. Thank you for the beautiful work you do!

    Conservative Agenda Veiled as Catholicism
While some Catholics/Christians may hold conservative views, it is not a dogmatic pre-requisite. However, what Cameron tries to paint as a neutral, real, and transparent look at women in Catholicism comes off as a political dog whistle for those who leave no nuance to faith except where their personal life journey and opinion differs. It is interesting that while Cameron says we should “stop pretending and be real,” it is voices like hers that discourage young women’s authenticity the most. As an example, Episode 206 spreads misinformation related to science and public health through a veil of religion and an apolitical stance. The host encourages people to engage in “courageous” convoys like that of the Canadian Trucker Convoy that took place in Jan/Feb 2022 to protest vaccine mandates. The host, Cameron Fradd, paints convoys that traveled to Canada from the US as a positive example of “unity” and “peace”. Multiple times during the episode, Fradd calls the vaccine a “QR Code,” which increases vaccine misinformation. Toward the middle of this episode, Fradd places judgement on parents who choose to protect their children by minimizing their interactions with unvaccinated kids, again increasing parental vaccine hesitancy. At one point she equates such division to Satan. None of this is rooted in Catholic teaching, and is an extremely disappointing representation of Catholicism as a whole.

    A Pure Gift
By the grace of God I stumbled on this podcast. I just listened to my first episode “Navigating our Good Days and Bad Days” and it was such an encouragement listening to you sweet women expressing so much about chronic illness, that I too am battling. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I feel less lonely, more hopeful and inspired by your faith.

Podcast that will breathe hope into your life!
Cameron, thank you so much for all that you do. You’re the definition of what it means to be a strong and beautiful woman. I’m so inspired by your story! It’s touching to see how much pain you’ve gone through in your life, but still manage to be so radiant and full of hope! As a medical student who’s training to be a doctor one day, I will always keep your words close to my heart when I’m treating patients with similar conditions and experiences. I’ve subscribed and will recommend you to all my friends and family. God bless!

    Not well thought out
Disappointing. This podcaster makes her views the “right” views with a holier than thou attitude. “Bring Real,” which is part of the description, means owning your interpretation, your story, your perspective, your thoughts. That’s part of emotional maturity. It’s part of being emotionally responsible (and respectful).

    Misleading “Catholicism “
If you’re a practicing Catholic please avoid this podcast. Calling this content Catholic is derogatory to the Church and everything Jesus stands for. It is really filled with nothing more than voo doo “medicine “ theories that are potentially harmful to you and your family, lack of compassion for marginalized individuals in society, radical political beliefs, and angry venting. -sincerely a practicing medical provider and lifelong practicing Catholic

    Good listening for Catholic mamas
During my first two postpartum periods I spent a lot of time listening to political Catholic shows bc that is all I could find. This time around I am LOVING listening to Cameron and feel that my life as a mom and wife has been so much more enriched and joyful. I appreciate her honest conversations with guests and Matt, her husband. In fact the episodes with Matt tend to be my favorites. Thank you for continuing these shows!

    Inconsiderate, judgemental, self-righteous
Don’t waste your time. There are several better podcasts geared toward catholic women. It’s women like Cameron that make me embarrassed to be Catholic.

    Love Your Realness!!!
I will be at Catholic family land the same week you are! We have some of the same mutual friends so I am looking forward to actually meeting you! I love your podcasts & how real you are! Life is messy!!

Loved it, until views were imposed on others
I loved this podcast but was turned off when one story described giving a gift of a scarf to a girl wearing a revealing shirt. It wasn’t her place to offer unsolicited advice or guidance.

Like your podcast, your music not so much
Hey I just started listening and so far I love your show. My kids are grown and I have grandchildren but I still feel I can get a lot from it. I only wish I had something like this when I was younger. One thing...your choice of intro music is ... not so good... it is not relaxing ... it is... grating actually... sorry just being real here... Lol

    Real, Raw, Relatable
Cameron, thank you for being real. Admitting your faults and imperfections, helps us all see that working towards sainthood is a journey! Love this podcast!

    Simply awesome!
I like to listen to this podcast while I clean. Cameron touches a lot of subjects that all Catholic can and should listen to. Easy podcast to listen to, for the common Catholic. These are the conversations more women should be having, it’s just sad that in order to listen to conversations like these you have to go on a podcast. While I wish more mothers, sisters, or aunts should be having them. Instead of speaking pure gossip or unimportant subjects in daily conversations. Alas, I hope this podcast encourages the conversation! I’m 21 by the way, you should know you have young listeners! ;)

    Love
Been listening for a while now and I’ve heard almost every episode. So refreshing and very helpful to me as a wife and mother of three. Thank you Cameron, God Bless. Side note: I let my kids listen to the Advent with the Fraddlets episode, and they LOVED it and begged for more!

My first listen to ATL 💕 Melissa’s conversion story
You touched on so many thoughts I’ve experienced - expecting to be perfect after confession and mass and the disappointment at still failing, allowing ourselves grace to make mistakes and enjoy the unique person God created us to be. I truly enjoyed your easy rapport and conversation and will be back for more ATL episodes. God bless your ministries and faith!

    Not Catholic
Very disappointed the amount of LGBTQ topics covered considering this is a Catholic podcast. Sodom and Gomorrah anyone?

    Frustrating
I try to enjoy this podcast, but the constant interruptions any time a guest tries to talk is so frustrating.

    Breath of Fresh Air!
Just feels like you’ve got a real catholic mom, friend, there to support, advise and entertain you! And hard topics are discussed... raw material exposed and it is all pertinent to our lives in one way or another! Cameron fan all the way!

    Life giving!
This podcast is so beautiful! Thank you Cameron for sharing your gifts and inviting in others to share about life with Jesus. This podcast is sooo life giving! Check it out if you are a woman looking for honest, uplifting content!

    Nope
Good grief - I guess anyone can have a podcast now. This podcast is about nothing. It is Cameron, who is clearly in love with herself, yapping. Skip it.
  • AGF003
Not impressed by the self righteousness
After many attempts of trying to get through a show without Cameron Fradd interrupting and bulldozing everyone she interviews with her better and more pious stories and life, I’m done. Unfortunately, she’s not a good interviewer and really just wants the world to know just how righteous and religious she is. It’s not authentic or genuine and I much prefer other podcasts that help my spirituality by leading me closer to Jesus rather than showing off everything you do to be a “role model” Catholic. Last but not least, she does not have a pleasing voice to listen to.

    Love “Among the Lilies”
I have been a fan of “Among the Lilies” from the beginning! I love how causal and real the show is. This is the only podcast I regularly listen to. Ladies, you won’t regret tuning in! And follow the Facebook page. It’s truly an amazing community.

    Genuine 🙃
Driving or mowing is when I listen to this podcast! Cameron doesn’t sugarcoat things, and it’s refreshing. She doesn’t use fancy words to describe normal experiences. She feels like a big sister to me when I’m listening to her! She talks and discusses many topics regarding being a wife and/or mother, and as a single, 24yo, I can’t relate to these things, BUT I love hearing it!! She paints a very real picture of both lifestyles and it helps me be honest with myself in looking forward to that season of my own life, instead of glamorizing it in my head. This is the only podcast I’ve listened to presented from a woman that doesn’t feel forced or fake to me. Highly recommend!!

    Great Podcast!
Great podcast. One of the few podcasts I can listen to for hours.

Used to really enjoy it but things have changed
So, when I first started listening, I really found this podcast helpful. It was a show geared towards Catholic women in general and discussed various topics, albeit clumsily sometimes, but that added to the charm for me. However as time went on, things started to become more and more about being a mom and being a wife. (I think at some point, Cameron may have actually said that her focused had changed? I’m having a brain fart right now but I think that’s in an episode...somewhere.) As a single Catholic young woman, I’m constantly inundated with things that say they’re geared towards women but only talk about motherhood and being married. I was excited to find something that was actually for Catholic women with no modifiers. But that’s changed. Conversations that don’t really have much to do with state of life vocations suddenly circle around to “So, as a mom...” or “As a wife...” and I’m a little tired of it. The old episodes were pretty great and very helpful but the recent ones haven’t been helpful for me. So, I think this may be a good resource if you are a wife and a mom and want to hear discussions about that, but if you don’t fit in that category, keep looking. Thank you for your hard work, Cameron!

    Just what I need!!
I think Cameron is my soul sister. I relate to sooooo many things she says. I’m SO GRATEFUL for the reminder that we can struggle with the daily crosses we’re given and still be holy... that the journey to holiness does not require us to be perfect along the way, just to keep going.

    Very real, honest, and beautiful.
I am a convert who came into the church two years ago. I have been growing in my faith and knowledge before I came in and even more so afterward. My boyfriend recommended this podcast to me and I’ve been listening for a little while now. I am so appreciative to hear the honest opinions and lives of Catholic women living real and honest Catholic lives. I’m the only Catholic in my whole family and a lot of what is talked about on the podcast is stuff you don’t hear about in church circles, RCIA, or even in friend circles. I cannot begin to say how often I verbally agree with what you’re saying or I have my eyes opened to things I was misguided about. Im so thankful to the Lord, my boyfriend, and to you for what this podcast is and all that I’ve gained from it!

Lovely lifestyle podcast for smart Catholic women
I love this podcast! Cameron covers so many great topics that resonate so much with me like theology, sexuality, life as a mom, education, prayer, and so much more. Love her take on everything.
  • Jamie Popernack
    Overall great
Thank you for being so honest and covering so many topics. I appreciate you talking openly about sex and all other sorts of “taboo” type topics. You are so genuine and relate-able. I converted in 2017 and I appreciate hearing your perspective, since I’m still pretty new to the Church. I have two points of feedback. One is: more diverse guests of all kinds please. Two is: the transgender episode was misinformed. I don’t disagree with the theology of course. But the focus on young children and the idea of dysphoria as a whim that is encouraged by adults is not accurate. If you want to delve into this topic, I suggest interviewing someone who has lived with dysphoria into adulthood. Thanks for your ministry and for reading my feedback. All the best to you.

This podcast will change your life
So real, so pure, so funny, so serious, so lighthearted, so inspiring - thank you Cameron Fradd for creating this podcast. I cannot even begin to say how much it has brought me closer to God and my faith, and to realize I am not alone in both the struggles and joys in life. You will not regret listening to this!

    Drunk Aunt of Catholic Podcasting
Literally the funniest podcast I have listened to in a long time. The back and fourth with her husband was effortless, pure, and really funny. We all need a fun aunt to get drinks with! Thank you, Cameron for being just that for your listeners.
