I listened to Jonathan’s podcast and it’s exceptional! There are many ppl I’d know nothing about if you hadn’t steered us in their direction! Thank you for sharing YOUR space w all these other podcasters and then promoting their shows on yours!! They are really fortunate!! I know some established podcast hosts do that as well but begrudgingly. You really want them to succeed. Honestly….with 5 kids, a husband and many school activities, I do not know HOW you do so many podcasts! All great guests, diverse topics and informative. My favorites are Chris DeRosa bc you two make me laugh!! I listen to them many times over. They are all good AND you guys get the facts correct. You don’t just throw details out there, hoping they stick like so many podcasters do. That’s my pet peeve. Of course what you do can not be EASY but you guys really do the research! I get that mistakes can be made but not you guys.

Thank you Kate for staying grounded in curiosity. Humans never cease to amaze me, despite not caring for a topic or individual on a podcast or not caring for the podcast host, humans will still take their time out of their day, listen to an entire episode maybe even more than one and then blame the host for the use of their time. The listener positions themselves as a victim and then blames the host for the content they just finished consuming instead of turning off the thing they are listening to. Thank you Kate for the work you do. 👏

Kate Casey is a highly talented interviewer and podcast host. One of my very favorite podcasts, I always prioritize this one over others. She has terrific guests and asks exactly the right questions. Her knowledge of reality shows, and ability to recall specific facts from shows twenty years ago (or more) is incredible. It’s like reminiscing with an old friend. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Kate interrupts and talks over most of her guests. A guest will be in the middle of a statement or sentence and she will just start talking over them and doesn’t allow them to finish their thoughts. I’ve also noticed how harsh and mean she can be towards humanity. “Throw away” and “dumb” people are two things she’s said recently. Throw away as in some people shouldn’t be here 🙁 I don’t know - it sounds harsh and is mean. As I’ve listened to her regularly for the past two years, I think she’s probably more like her father than she realizes - personality wise. Her obsession with JFK Jr. (among other things) is eerily similar to her father’s obsession with Ireland and the Irish culture. In addition her affect, it all makes sense after listening to the background on her father.

I am in shocking horror of the Elvis podcast done on this channel. They dive into his relationships with and I quote “women” which is how these young children were referred to throughout the episode. They were ages 13-17 when Elivs had “relationships” aka groomed and raped them. It was written off by that I need to be some serious content warning on this episode. It was talking about relationships with women and they kept talking about women and the kids were ages 13 to 17 and they went on and completely said it was the times but then said management knew about it was actively trying to hide it so they knew it was wrong. You can’t say in one breath this is just how it was but then present the evidence that says they knew how bad this was. Elvis isn’t to be worshiped. He was a child rapists and Kate is helping perptuate the narrative that he was just a guy who likes young women. Fame isn’t an excuse to get away with hurting kids and breaking the law. Which was still the law in the 50’s and 60’s.

Podcast is fine, but what is up with the show’s intro song? “The amazing Kate Casey” … is it meant to be kind of a joke and I just don’t get it?

Kate Casey’s podcast has been my go to podcast since soon after she started. I randomly found it and have been hooked ever since. She has the BEST interviews and often says what I am thinking. A hidden gem in the entertainment world. I have no idea why she hasn’t been a guest bartender on WWHL.

Kate is so smart! She has brilliant interviews, insights & commentary. Kate gets great people and asks smart, insightful questions. A must subscribe to all who love unscripted context.

Todays episode was just heart wrenching. It was beautifully edited and you can feel the pain these women felt for decades. I will definitely read this book by Ann Fessler.

Recent interview with him, I could’ve called in and guessed the same things he did regarding the two cases- the guy is a quack!

Hearing Chris’s knowledge and perspective is gold.

Such a fabulous show. I love that Kate watches as much tv as I do. The show is great because it’s so well rounded. I’m a huge Bravo fan but also love docs etc. I love the guests she has in the show too. Every great producer has been interviewed by Kate Casey. I walk away from the show feeling like I not only listened to my best friend but I also learn something and think deeply about the cast of characters on every show. It’s always a great listen and I highly recommend the podcast.
