Tad Becker and a co-host share personal stories and sift through the weirdness to find the most interesting stories on the planet. Sometimes it's 'only' TIME TRAVEL CRIME and non-military history. Other times they answer the BIG QUESTIONS. The ones NO ONE has the GUTS to tackle. Like, why my peepee hard?Some example shows are: Being arrested outside of a comic shop, the more-than-a-friendship of Gilgamesh and Enkidu, shutting down Neopets, the unending terror that is Homestuck, the unending terror that is living in Russia, filming and acting in three feature length indie films, dreams with legitimate sequels and the Emperor of the United States. Each episode we find something new to gawk at with our Eagle-Eyed listeners.

“They’ve got greentexts- in podcast form”

There’s something magnetic about this podcast. Whether it’s a goofy recounting of Russian dictators failing their people or Homestuck fan horror stories, its always entertaining. It’s like browsing /v/ or /co/, but without the slurs and death threats! There’s a couple rants here and there that’ll have you like “is this really that serious”, but I’d argue it adds to the charm.

Best small podcast ever

I’ve been listening for about two years and it never gets any less funny. It’s so enjoyable to hear tad and aleks talk about literally anything under the sun. With topics ranging from hatsune Miku to Chris Chan to expeditions to the North Pole,this podcast never disappoints.

Something for everyone.

I found this podcast randomly on YouTube one day. It was their episode on Chris-Chan. I hadn’t heard that name in forever and holy moly, I’ve been hooked since then. I’m kind of sad that they don’t post more, but they have lives outside of the internet and that’s alright. I’m always happy when a new episode is posted though cause you never know what they’ll talk about.

There are these two guys and they talk about things I guess. You might think they’re coasting on hipster welfare but at least their enthusiasm and interest is genuine! At least I think it is, otherwise they both might want to get examined for aspergers... cause I dunno how someone could talk about understuck as much as they do or be okay being stuck working at a grocery store in Idaho. And if they don’t have brain defects then hoo boy is life gonna be rough for them!!

Cool podcast, but stick to the core

The podcast’s actual core content is very good and it makes me so happy when an actual let me tell you about comes out, but when they go into their other content that stays from the original purpose of the podcast I find myself underwhelmed.

Love the variety of topics and how laid-back but informative each episode is. Plus, some episodes strike major chords with me (being an Ohioan myself, definitely related to Dan's C-bus stories)

Mixed Bag

Their life stories (Aleks' dream journal, childhood stories, near-death experiences, Miku expos, Japanese class, pizza delivery driver, etc) are insanely hilarious and interesting. Some of the other stuff (anything with Boyz in it)...not so much imo.

A very enjoyable podcast

I very much enjoy this podcast, the topics are so random and yet there are so many funny and fantastic moments my favorite being from the Japanese 101 Classmates "Anime has to go into the bye-bye zone." That phrasing makes me laugh each and every time and the fact I can come back to something each and every time and still laugh, is amazing to me. 7/5, 12/12 unintentional gay Homestuck role plays.
