    From 5 to 3
Tom’s new content is too much click bait for me. As he switched to politics, he definitely lost me. And it’s a lot of fear based titles that aren’t appealing. Come back Tom, I miss you. 😢

    Insufferable host
Started a trial to listen to the Eric Weinstein episode. Unfortunately I found the host to be challenging to listen to. Started to tune out after he said his acoustic guitar got him laid, how he formally considered himself an artist, and how he’s given up on adults and wants to create media for impressionable youth. Bro.

    So much value
The more I listen to Ron and his guests the more I love this show. I love the topics and the challenges that are addressed. I feel smarter Everytime I listen. I love this show!

Change the show title to Conspiracy Theory
I’ve been listening for years and am embarrassed that I recommended it to everyone as the #1 show I listen to. This turn he’s taken is awful. Every show is basically “You’re all dumb if you’re not blindly supporting the right” which is ironic. Tom used to host an informative pragmatic show. Now it’s a clown car of conspiracies, misinformation, and hypocrisy.

    Wise advice
Tom serves his audience with care and integrity to help you and me hit goals, learn and grow. Thanks!!

    Ignorant but Confident
You don’t know what you’re talking about. You don’t understand politics. Inflation has leveled off. Wages and Employment are up. Prices broadly have never and will never go down. Educate yourself.

    Access to key view points
Tom is one of the best interviewers and always asks questions that they do not typically get. I’ve been a fan and follower for years. Interesting to see the political guests now but in true Tom fashion he is just trying to learn more, expose followers to different view points and to seek answers. The people who condemn certain guests don’t understand what impact theory is really about.

    Podcast turned into Trumpistan
Been listening for years, and I’ve seen it slowly but surely turn into yet another podcast that holds almost entirely right wing/corporatist views. Most of his guests are conservatives now, he’s not at all hiding it. And to each their own, he’s obviously free to do so, but I can’t take such biased views seriously. And no, I’m not a “wokie” lib. I’m a moderate independent. I just can’t stand the cult of Trumpistan, which this podcast is now an undeniable part of

    Critical thinking at its best
Tom takes his listeners on his own learning journey. His natural, compelling curiosity about our society mirrors the national conversation that independent thinkers in America are having. You can actually hear him learning while he talks to his guests. “Explain it to me like I’m five” is a great example of how he pulls out the most salient points the listeners need to hear from his guests. It’s a great use of your time to listen to the end of each episode.

    Worst show ever
This guy is a tard.. do yourself a favor and skip it. He is just a jerk off that creates click bait shows. Tom is not even interested in letting his guests talk.

“Civil War is Coming” and Tom’s Helping It Along
I’ve listened to this show for 5 years. It was recommended to me by someone and I found so much value in it that I’ve recommended it to at least a dozen others. Never before have I regretted that decision until now. Tom’s recent episode with Gad Saad was an abomination. Tom allowed what worked out to be a thinly veiled Trump ad to go on with the lightest pushback I’ve ever seen from him. Even the times he began to push back, like when Gad Saad claimed there are no actual signs that Donald Trump wanted to undermine democracy in the US, he had to sheepishly say “This isn’t me speaking, but January 6th was sorta bad, but this is me speaking as someone with Trump derangement syndrome. These aren’t my own thoughts!” Grow a backbone or be upfront with your shift to a more common grift. Here are some asinine notes from Saad’s comments that received no pushback. We are told by him to look deeper at Donald Trump’s policies and not take him at face value. We are told the exact opposite about Biden. We are told there are no examples, and no one is able to provide any when asked, of Donald Trump having an affinity for being a dictator (there are several, Tom, maybe read an article with some quotes from the man himself). We are told to believe that Biden is a greater threat to democracy because of DEI. Saad is unable to clearly articulate why DEI is such a threat aside from a story about a single university making 2 diversity hires. He’s either ignorant on the topic or purposely gaslighting folks to believe that DEI itself is anti-merit, and I’m happy to come on and explain it to both of you anytime. We get to hear this man proselytize about the American president needing to be more feared and unpredictable to be able to work with middle eastern leaders. We are told that Obama is the equivalent of a sexy woman selling a product but lacking in substance (several issues with this, no pushback whatsoever). We are told Trump is the opposite. Sam Harris, who I respect but pushback on on many topics, is mocked for having a lisp and being progressive simply because he sees Donald Trump as a genuine threat to democracy. This was one of the most one-sided, intellectually dishonest interviews I’ve ever heard from Tom and it’s both deeply disturbing and disappointing. There are so many other examples from this mess, but I’m too exhausted from waiting for Tom to make a single, genuine counter argument to list them all. If Tom is no longer capable of producing a podcast that is a better quality than this, I will be forced to stop listening. I am one node in this network, but I’ll be sure to turn off the 12 or so others I’ve turned on in hopes they’ll do the same. Do better.

    Destiny Interview
I always appreciate Tom bringing on guests that challenge both sides of a viewpoint. I couldn’t help but interpret the interview with Destiny as a possible new way for him to gain viewers/listeners. With the mentioning of Candice Owens along with others on the right taking a much stronger right leaning stance, Destiny sees the benefit of taking the opposite side. Both sides are playing on the high emotions of viewers/listeners. Tensions are definitely high in our country and hope we’re able to see that there could be some out there cashing in on it.
  • oakley456
    Destiny is a brainwashed twit.
I usually enjoy your show, but I can’t believe you wasted two episodes on Destiny. What a waste of time. I’m disappointed that you would give that much air time to that idiot.

    Two Privileged White Men…
Listening to the 2 part show with Dave Rubin I realized how two privileged white men really don’t have the same worries and take on public policies that I do and that is who is running the show. Reminded once again that wealth and the patriarchy rule everything and they think it’s best for everyone. The glory days of 1995 or whenever they were trying to say racism and prejudice did not exist is a ridiculously tone def goal to reach for.

    Arrogant and distasteful
Tom's podcast was a disappointment. The host is very set on his ways and does not allow the speakers he invites to fully share their ideas. He invites people that are clearly smarter and have more insight than him but then attempts to have them view things from his perspective. That is unfortunate and his lack of growth mindset makes this podcast unsatisfying. His "insights" are often shallow and uninteresting, they are only opinions that lack depth. He often references his personal experience which proves to be limited and not very thought provoking. I suggest Tom listens more to his insightful and wise speakers and allows us to hear their messages rather than attempting to over imposing his ideas on them.

Disappointed that you are acting like the rest of them
I’m a huge fan, listen to you and your wife’s content. Also buy your products with Quest. Just opened a bag of protein chips. Price gouging at it isn’t finest. Barely anything in the bag. Why even waste the bag? A bag is 32g I measured 28g. So disappointed in your company, sad

    Thoughtful discussions
I love listening to Impact Theory because Tom Bilyeu offers balanced and intelligent conversations on a wide range of relevant topics, including politics, health, and wellness. His approach is non-emotional and thoughtful, making this one of the few truly intelligent podcasts available.

    Fearful and thoughtless
As a listener who appreciates that provoking content, I found Tom’s podcast to be a disappointment. Ever wonder how brilliant businessman like Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, and Brian Johnson can somehow be disappointingly common, well wonder no more. This host puts on full display all the same qualities. Unfortunately the “ insights” shared on this podcast often or shallow, not to mention opinion and lack the depth necessary to promote true understanding or personal development. In an episode he even said something to the effect of, “I have no problem taking about topics that I am not educated in”… that’s pretty obvious. I’m pretty sure there is no shortage of people that are willing to give this guy their money, but there are history books filled with that type of characters. But please, listen for yourself and decide on your own. It’s a bummer that so many intelligent men turn out to still be that H.S boy that wants to be the prom king.

    Really?
Just started getting back into listening to podcasts. Came back to this show and now it’s wanting me to pay to listen. I go look at other big podcasts and none of them make me pay. Unfortunate that we have to pay in order to get some good insight or a boost. No thanks.

    Smart Podcast
The host is super dialed in two things. He is very smart and does his homework. I think he is completely honest with his thoughts and has great guests on. Great podcast.
  • MisterJekyl
    Ugh
Beware: host frequently reposts old shows that don’t age well. Hearing host hype Elon Musk on Jan 1, 2024, was super off-putting.
  • JasonB_1978
    Excellent interviewer, broken philosophy
Tom interviewing Hormozi is the best I’ve heard. Excellent prep. questions, and follow up. Searched for his pod, recognized the album art (oddly), and subscribed. Listened to 11/30/2023 and unsubscribed (apparently for the 2nd time). This is why the West is self-destructing.

    Good podcast but…
Great podcast so it gets 5 stars from me, but my goodness are the commercials long. I love listening to podcasts while working out but I cannot listen to this podcast during workouts because the commercials just interrupt my flow for too long.

    Highly recommend!
Impact Theory has quickly become a standout favorite of mine! I’m consistently impressed with the engaging conversations, insightful content, and practical takeaways. I truly learn something new every time I tune in. Highly recommend giving it a listen!

So thought provoking and especially loved PBD episode
Always thought provoking with excellent topics, guests and ideas. Especially love how you can be open to all sides while letting the listener make their own conclusions but educating along the way.

    From inspiration to clickbait
I love Tom’s show, I just want to put that out there first. But what was once purely inspirational content that I very much looked forward to has become clickbait infotainment, with headlines of demise almost every other episode. From “this crash, to this collapse,” I don’t even click on his episodes anymore, cause it won’t be something I want to put in my conscious or subconscious mind. I hope he considers revising his titles so as to not conform to mainstream medias low standards. Again, long time listener. Former listener that is, for now.
  • Astrogirl_13
Patrick Bet David a waste of air time
Gained absolutely nothing from this episode. There’s nothing inspiring about listening to someone with an inflated ego and questionable background prop up conspiracy theories. Would have loved to have heard something useful for moving forward in the mess were in instead of just some dudes ranting.

    Konstantin disaster
This conversation is a disaster. The guest is a fanatic and has fatal blind spots. Host tries to challenge but never rises to the challenge. Divisive and destructive to the common ideals. Please be critical when listening.

    Best Podcast for Personal Development!!
Tom asked good questions and researches his gas before hand. Then he helps explain complicated concepts in a way that a normal person can understand.

    Waste of time
This guy thinks he’s a free speech absolutist, and some kind of media expert. Came here for Sam Harris who destroyed his arguments. Really, don’t waste your time.
  • Trillionfelis
    I couldn’t finish the episode
I listened to an interview with Sam Harris. The host was not well prepared to understand the problem at hand, guessed left and right, interrupted often and showed that unfortunately he’s not at a level where he could engage well with Sam. The interviewee was very charitable in this conversation.
  • "REID"
    Sam Harris
Tom, so enjoy your podcast and you tackle issues and invite guests that add value to our lives. Unfortunately I just felt sad for Sam Harris and how he is so consumed by the previous President and calls names like a 5 year old of anyone he disagrees with from his entitled mind. You should leave Sam back in 2020 and not invite him back again.
  • ScubaDiva2023
    Most thoughtful podcast
If you are not listening to Tom you are really missing out. With a wide range of topics and diverse guests who are experts in their field , his podcast is worthy of your time. His kindness toward each guest and the amount of research he puts in is captivating. Tom is not another blah blah dude. He thinks through thought provoking questions and has his finger on the pulse of what we are facing in these crazy times. I learn so much!
  • SamI am2
    Very strong beliefs
Tom has very strong beliefs about certain topics that seem more of an opinion. Especially when it comes to sexuality and women and men. Very old beliefs. I used to listen to him on a daily. Now it just seems his opinions are clouding the great information.
  • Steph Mannix
    Whole lot if nothing
I’ve listened to a few podcasts on money and it’s a bunch of rambling garbage trashing socialism. Guests talking conspiracy on grounds of disproven stances. Don’t waste 7 hrs like I did - synopsis - Gov bad, the USD is screwed, buy Bitcoin/gold.
