Its cool to have other podcasters, authors, etc. as guests occasionally, but I miss the good old days when the average Joe/Jane called in to shared their crazy and strange experiences. I rarely listen to a whole episode anymore.

I am a long time listener and loved the Confessionals. I’ve purchased all of the documentaries. The direction of the show is changing and I just can’t get behind it. I want so badly to support Tony and the show but it is going overboard with the guest conspiracy theories, weather altering, anti-vax, etc. Just makes me sad.

Where are all the missing children???

All the good episodes are “member previews” and the rest are religious garbage.

This show gets worse with every new episode

This show used to be amazing but it’s turned into an alt right sideshow. Tony only allows Jesus fanatics on the show and the moral of the story always turns out to be as long as you believe in Jesus the demons will leave you alone. Every episode turns into “spiritual warfare”, everything is demonic, and you better repent and buy their doomsday supplies kit before the demons destroy the world. Tony thinks meditation is satanic, maybe he needs to ground himself and meditate.

I love this show so much- in the past year since I’ve found the Confessionals, I’ve grown in my faith through learning more about how the spiritual world and laws operate. Now almost daily, I’m looking for someone to talk to about Bigfoot, aliens (demons), etc 🤣

Doing conventions with other researchers material. Wonder how much he got paid for the convention versus how much money the guest made from his show?

Tony is the man! He’s come a very long way and deserves every bit of success he’s getting. His shows are getting increasingly interesting if that is even possible and his members site is awesome. Keep up the good work Mr. Merkel and fam!

I really appreciate the hosts openness, compassion, good listening skills, clear voice which is smooth as hot honey. He seems like a genuinely interested and nice guy. The topics are really unique and cool to learn about. I appreciate his stance on free speech.

Just listened to 698 then went back and listened to 528. Both were amazing. Would love an episode with Glen telling stories about his mother’s father. The story with what he encountered on the top of the stairs is so chilling.

…I get the feeling that now a days this is more about the money than anything for Tony. He’s full of himself and it shows. My dude needs to ground himself and get back to basics.

The first several years - fire interviews with normal people. I hate to say it, but the host needs to re-examine himself. It’s become very self-promotional - selling what has been given freely (unbiblical). As someone who loves God and the Bible - teachers are held to a higher standard and Tony needs to tread carefully. Believers are watched by the world, and they should be humble, meek servants - not prideful, loud sells men. It’s changed a lot, I hope he takes some time to reconnect with what the podcast was originally.

Listened to the latest episode about weather modification. Was hoping there would be more fact based information rather then conspiracy claims backed up by “I heard this” or “someone said this” or “I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, but…”. Google is free. Narrator says he doesn't listen to mainstream media, it’s obvious. Irresponsible spreading of misinformation.

It was amazing and now every episode seems like an informercial for christianity. Like, it’s fine if your a christian but stop forcing it into every episode. Jumped the shark

I do miss the conversations with witnesses and their experiences. Seems to be a lot of authors and people Tony has bumped into throughout his job, which is fine. I just miss people’s stories. I gotta unsubscribe. The weird Wednesdays are just too much and never enough.

Tony has gone off the deep end is spreading a lot of untruths. Hate that he thinks God chose him for this podcast. Ridiculous!!! Act like a grownup and pay attention to what your guests are saying. Just because you can’t follow along doesn’t mean the listeners can’t. Stop interrupting and talking about yourself. Seems like you’re just after the money now. I liked the humble truck driver better.

I’ve been listening for about 3 years now, and honestly, I skip every single one of the big foot shows. But I think overall it’s worth paying for access to member episodes. People evolve, they grow, especially in Christ. Some might love it, some might not be ready for that stepping stone in their spiritual walk. And yeah, I think some of the guests are whack. But mostly, it’s good stuff and it’s brave and it’s interesting.

I’m a truck driver that has nothing but time and I believe the lord put me here to shut up, listen, learn ,and grow in him and I love the content glad my wife turned me onto it

I have been listening to Tony for about a year now, and let me tell you- I am all in! I love how Tony is so open and respectful to his guests, the way he thinks, and shares his thoughts and feelings so confidently. His perspective is truly opening my mind to more than I have ever considered, and I have always considered myself a very open minded person! Great work Tony & crew!! Keep those heeters coming! You ARE making a difference and giving your guests hope, support and allowing them to find some relief from carrying the weight of their stories.

This show is now comparable to listening to someone having a full blown manic episode. Unfortunate.

My husband turned me onto the show. Like Tony, he is a truck driver and listens while he drives. Episode 111 was crazy! Please stay safe and keep us updated on that situation! I am a Christian and love your content because for the most part, it’s faith based content (kinda like the dark side but nonetheless). The stuff you talk about on the show is like you are arming us with weapons to fight the enemy. Knowing your enemy is important! The fact that you talk about Christian stuff is the very reason my husband and I listen to your show. We love it! A lot of the stories and callers are interesting. Some lean on the bit of the crazy side, and it’s only up until they start with, “Now that I’ve found Christ I’m okay and my life is “normal” now.” That’s when you suddenly see clearly that these people are off of their freaking rocker and have more than a few screws loose, and are in desperate need of medical attention.

I used to really enjoy this podcast when it first came out and I still listen to it occasionally. Now it’s gotten more difficult to keep up with the host. He is all over the place and doesn’t have an easy to follow conversational tone. I like the podcast and it’s worth a listen but he talks a mile a minute and gets easily off topic. Slow down. Take a deep breath. Focus on what you’re trying to say and YES; it’s ok to get off topic but not every 3 minutes.

I loved this podcast at first, now it seems more like it’s about Tony amd Tony alone. I’ll stick with Sasquatch Chronicles, The Why Files and Tin Foil Hat unless this podcast gets back on track and it’s not all about Tony. There’s no I in Team. Wish you the best.

It really has gone south, content is heavy on religion and Tony is just try to milk every avenue to make money. Nobody wants to here Tony laugh at everything and talk about his random thoughts. Bring back some real experiences with real people and maybe I will tune in again.

Been so disappointing lately, seems like a lot of chatter about promoting things or stuff that isn’t very interesting. 665 I actually listened to, but honestly the guest didn’t seem sincere nor believable at all…

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a while now, and Tony has grown as an insightful interviewer - the people who share their testimonies feel safe to do so for a reason. Also, anyone who says the intro is too long, you do know you can skip through it, right? If you don’t have the patience or wherewithal to either listen through it or skip forward, then this is not the podcast for you and you don’t deserve to listen to peoples detailed experiences - try a more meaningless show that gives you quick gratification. Anyways, keep up the great work Tony!

This is my favorite podcast and I binge episodes all the time. This podcast is similar to Blurry Creatures but goes deeper in my opinion. Tony is a great host to his guests and I enjoy listening to him!

Is this even for real?? It’s akin to psychosis when it goes unmedicated. He must think the audience is really dumb to be dishing out offal such as this. He needs to go back to researching instead of parking at the entrance of his local psych hospital or inpatient SUD treatment facility to interview anyone who makes eye contact. Ugh and that cheesy intro! Insert a bevy of laugh emojis. Time is short and precious people. Short and Precious.

I just think is not a big enough or interesting enough podcast to be charging people to listen ;… I had a hard time listening for free as it is . … I’ll stick to Tin Foil Hat…. Good luck tho .
