    Best Movie Podcast Out There
I’m biased, but this is great.

    Needs help
Title of the podcast was “Young Frankenstein” and didn’t mention Young Frankenstein for an hour and ten minutes to begin the episode. Then, before talking about the movie in the title the two hosts talked about movies one or both hosts hadn’t seen. So... just don’t mention those movies neither of you had seen. Cool that movies had come out during certain months. Why would anyone want to hear hosts talk about movies they hadn’t seen? Don’t waste people’s time. Get into your episode and start offering what the title promises.

    Not for me
Terrible radio voice full of troupes and cliched jargon. As soon as I heard “toxic masculinity” to describe “The Apartment” I was out. Please have a more in depth viewpoint rather than just throwing out words told to you repeatedly by others. The English language contains a multitude of similes and metaphors to help paint a picture for people to understand a concept.

    Reviews for the partisan
This movie review podcast is acutely focused on the hosts ideology. Like most ideologically partisan people they likely do not recognize how extreme they are when they speak about movies and how they relate to the way they view cultural events. They focus almost completely on whether they agree with the movies ideological messaging. If they agree with it then they tend to give the movie a very positive review. If they disagree with the movie not being sufficiently far to the left side of the political spectrum, then they are quite negative about the viewing experience. One truly wonders if they have any moderate movie reviews friends. Do they even exist anymore?

    Really?
You guys are too young to have a podcast like this. I say that because half the time you get your movie references wrong.

    Favorite episode yet
I finished Seven Samurai for the first time (so good!) in anticipation of the extra milestone episode. So glad you had Sam on this, and I love all three of these guys' insights. Now I want to go back and watch the movie again with even a larger appreciation for it, thanks to these wonderful cinemaholics. Also, how the heck is Sam just 19?

    Superb but subjective
I can not believe I’m saying this but I look forward to Monday when I can hear this podcast. It is well thought and articulate. The thing that makes this podcast different is it’s got different views form different kinds of people Will (the critique) who doesn’t give in to popular obsession and tell you exactly what’s on his mind wether you love it or not, Jon (all rounded movie fan) who is mostly optimistic about movies and try to find beauty even in worst movies, Maveryke ,I had to copy that from the description,(non movie goer with a little knowledge about movies) who’s just learning about movies I suppose. Now, let’s talk specifics, the reason that led me to say it’s subjective is I guess art as a whole is subjective and I might hate what everybody seems to love but after hearing them tear ozark to pieces I thought we shouldn’t agree on all things as is frequently witnessed between Jon & will. I love how they take comments seriously and continuously try to improve themselves. I also love how they break a movie and examine the characters, the cinematography, the script, the cast and all other things and it is refreshing to hear their views on the featured reviews. I also love their news segment and movies coming-up next week. What I don’t like: I know they have to remain unbiased but sometimes it doesn’t hurt to hear them rate a movie A or A+ especially Will Ashton whose ratings never pass mostly C & B. Maybe there hasn’t been a good movie in these two years but I have yet to hear them praise a movie and give it an A. I’m personally not fond of the rushed conversations usually towards the end. I don’t know if they have a time limit or something but it’s never quite fun to hear them brushing up topics that deserve more time. Maybe it’s a time management issue but I’ve seen some of the podcasts stretch to nearly to 2 hours so either give it the time it requires or don’t bring it up at all. With that being said had I been living in any county that supports PayPal or any online payment mechanism I’d seriously consider being a patron as this podcast is growing and need our help. Love from Ethiopia Dawit (read as da...wit) Thanks

One of my few regular shows
I’ve known Jon for years and have followed a good number of his projects, and I absolutely love this podcast. I listen to about 8 different shows every week and would be lost without cinemaholics. Keep up the great work guys!

    Great Reviews, not much else
I love this show for it's featured reviews. The guys on the show are very articulate when it comes to talking about film which is refreshing in this time when anyone and everyone has a movie review show. They don't throw out high ratings and subvert the hype in the age of overrated comic book films. The problem with this podcast is almost everything else. They have a segment called mini reviews and although they're also well articulated, but they fall into the same problem with a lot of other film podcasts by only reviewing TV. As a film buff I want to hear thoughts on other films, older films, or favorite films of the hosts. Another problem that the hosts fall into is mentioning politics or taking a political stance one too many times. It's not as bad as the /filmcast. Lastly, it might be a nit-pick but the show has very abrupt and odd segments where 1 host is monologuing about some film news. The transition into these are very sloppy and it takes you out of the show. Why not just do a brief film news section with all the hosts present. 1 Star bump: the hosts took this review to heart and the transitions into news were so smooth. Great job on listening to feedback. If they can at least add more films into the mini reviews (not taking away tv) it would be a 5 star.

The hands down best movie review podcast since The Weekly Planet. In fact, I might like this one a tad more. The reviews are by far my favorite aspect of the pod. My only gripe is that I think the podcast would benefit from longer reviews/discussions. Overall, a fantastic podcast and a special thanks to the Cinemaholics for such a relaxing podcast that helps with my anxiety problems. 9/10.

    Conversational Cheers 🙊🍻
I find myself amused every time I listen to this podcast. Even when it is regarding a movie I have little to no interest in, I find myself a part of these guys' conversation. Honestly, listening to them feels like I am having a conversation with them about all kinds of aspects of whatever given cinema-topic, except my microphone is off! The best part might even be the fact that I haven't watched all the movies they talk about, but they spark enough curiosity in me to take a peek at least and see who's opinions/criticism is most accurate to my taste. 😬 🇵🇷✌🏼Franny A

    The Godfather of Podcasts
In a sea of movie podcasts that hail Melissa McCarthy, Jon and Will will tell you the truth. She's just Eh. But seriously Jon and Will actualy know what they are talking about and they have a lot of fun doing it too.
