Josh and Mairov are absolutely wonderful guides through the best music from and about Israel. My Hebrew is not fluent, however, with each episode I can travel to my heart’s center through the music, interviews and stories of our home. So beautiful and inspirational, and I so appreciate when they translate the song titles into English. Thank you for all of your creative work - and especially listing the songs for we collectors who find some favorites gems to keep!

I have found numerous songs of all types that I can't stop listening to from this show. Many genres are played on the show, and it covers classics to recently released songs. Episodes vary in content, with some devoted mostly or solely to the most recently released music, while other episodes are fan playlists that have been submitted, and still others are themed episodes such as a holiday episode or a episode in memory of a musician that has just passed away. I think the show has something for everyone. Also the host is delightfully upbeat which I find to be a plus.

Israel Hour Radio -What a great podcast. I appreciate the fact that the podcast is in English -I wouldn’t understand it in Hebrew because I’m not fluent in Hebrew. But Israeli music is wonderful, so dynamic and interesting and meaningful, and I’m so happy to be able to listen to it, the new stuff and the old stuff, to my heart’s content. I appreciate the links/access to translations, videos, titles, the associated Facebook community, and the tidbits of information about the musicians and the songs. Josh Sharon is a great host and gives us lots of different music to listen to. I also enjoy the different themes of the podcast. I’m having a ball listening to all this beautiful music from Israel. Carry on!

I love this show and tune in every week. I lived in Jerusalem briefly and picked up a bit of Hebrew. Listening to Israel Radio Hour brings back memories for me of the sunny days I had in Israel and keeps me in touch with new music coming out from there. For me, it’s the next best thing to actually being there.

If you're here, then it probably means you love Israeli music, so you don't need to read my opinion. It's a great show. I listen to it every week. There's a mix of old and new, and all sorts of stuff. I'll even listen through songs I don't love because I know I'll enjoy something else later on. Josh adds interesting commentary and shares his love for the music.

This show is great. Josh has a passion for Israeli music and a warm personality. He has created a nice following of Israeli music enthusiasts, and greets us each week when we say hi on social media. I listen to Israeli radio as well (Kan Gimmel), however, it is hit or miss as to whether they will be playing new music when I tune in. I love all periods of Israeli music, but I know that when I listen to the Israel Hour, Josh will keep me up-to-date with what’s new in Israeli music that very week. That, mixed with some great theme/holiday shows containing music from all periods. This broadcast/podcast will enrich the life of anyone who loves Israeli music, or who wants to learn to love it! My kids like listening!

Josh, and occasionally Merav and the rest of the mispacha, do a great job of introducing the listeners to the best in Israeli music, new and the classics. I personally love the interviews with the artists. Kol Ha Kavod!

Being a former host of The Israel Hour, I'm glad that the show has expanded into podcasting. Downloads are slow (do them overnight) at the present, but it's great to be able to take the best in Israeli music and features wherever, whenever. Thanks, Josh!
