Just listened to The Bulwark pod with Tim and Jon, and I have to say this duo together brought me to want to hear about what other things Jon Lovett has to say about this nightmare we are living in at the moment, and found this podcast. I’m not a fan of Pod Save…I tried, but for some reason it misses the mark for me in my current state of perpetual rage, but I am a fan of Jon. Jon and Tim Miller raging together about the state of America, and the soulless morons destroying what took us 250 yrs to build is the content I didn’t know I needed. I, for one, Lovett and will be tuning in to this pod as well.

I love this podcast so much and Jon always finds a way to make me feel better as we go through this latest hellscape.

This podcast is over, they have stopped broadcasting. It’s been over a month since new content has been posted. It’s crazy they decided to go out with two limp wristed clip shows, but there must have been extenuating circumstances. It was a good show, but it for sure no longer posting. It’s possible that they took a garish TWO months off for the holiday… but that would be pretty out of touch for them to try and connect with their working class listenership, right?

I can’t with politics rn. But I lovett this show and don’t want What A Weekday to leave it. (Dad jokes is my love language) Bonus points to the enthusiastic reviewer who still gave y’all 5 stars while being entirely over Kendra’s contrarian snobbery. It’s so reliable that I’m no longer annoyed by it.

I am such a huge fan of this show. The writing, production and execution is so pitch perfect and it is a pocket of joy in the Stupid Apocalypse in which we find ourselves. As a personal note, let me just say I think we all would understand if Jon needed to go back to therapy instead of doing What a Weekday in light, again, of the Stupid Apocalypse in which we find ourselves. No midweek episode is worth your health, Mr. Lovett!

I am so grateful to the episode you did with Tim Miller and feeling safe to be emotional about what this election loss means to you. It's how half of a country is feeling and nobody knows how to anchor themselves and move forward. It really resonated to know that you feel the same way and you felt comfortable bearing a little bit of your soul to the rest of us that are also grieving. Keep up the good work. Your intellect, experience and ability to succinctly put things into perspective is needed now more than ever.

Been listening for a while now, along with other crooked media pods. This is my first podcast review (kinda hard to even find how to do it) ANYWAY, this pod is rad. You could hardly tell Jon was a writer on the third season of Newsroom because this podcast is so funny and well written. Sorry Lovett, just tryna give you guff - did I mention this podcast is kinda hilarious! I only wish there was more Emily’s Garden Show content. 10/10 would pod again.

Just was wonderful to hear people ask questions and express frustrations and leaving it out there for people to come together.

If you want to stay informed, but you also want to enjoy it, Lovett or Leave It is a sharp take on a political podcast for people who hate politics but are too smart to ignore their importance, and funnier. Each episode is like if Survivor voted the host off first because he couldn’t tell the difference between an immunity idol and a coconut, then sent him home with a microphone, a dream, and maybe a small chip in the shoulder of his knit sweater polo. Missing an episode is as disappointing as missing 3 dinners.

Lovett and crew were killing it today— the perfect show before the election. A great mix of poignancy and hilarity— thank you!
