    Good podcast 2 thumbs up
Really good podcast. Good sound quality and good story. Paced well. Good character balance. DM weaves a good story and characters play the game well. Pretty good with meta gaming.... mostly :)

    Fantastic Podcast
Murder Dice gives such a great vibe with how everyone interacts making you feel like you’re part of their group and gives me the chance to get the fantasy feel I want. Plus the jokes are always hilarious

If you like rolling dice, this is the table you wish you could join. The laughter. The mayhem. The characters. The indiscriminate slaughter of horses. You really do feel like part of the crew and the nuances between the DMs provides wonderful inspiration for seasoned and novice players. Can’t wait for Season Three! I hope there’s a library and I hope Brain is shelving books. Ha HA!

    Horse Murder Dice
I love this podcast and all the shenanigans it goes through. Many podcasts have lost my attention due to lack of something. Be it role play or a delicate DM who doesn’t kill its players. I love that Darius also lives on in the second season!

    Excellent DnD pod
I love this pod, and the fact that they are based in my city is even better! The characters have good synergy and the show is always entertaining. Feels like I’m sitting in the room with them keep up the good work folks!

    An Inspiration to Play
I’ve never played DnD until recently, but what made me want to play was this podcast. I genuinely feel like I’m in the room with these fine folks learning about the game in person. The chemistry in this group is unmatched in every other podcast I’ve listened to, and to top it all off, this story is mostly homebrew! Awesome story, and amazing characters, truly the podcast to listen to for your DnD itch!

Momma said dungeons and dragons is the devil!
Your Momma’s wrong! Glad to see over 100 reviews! Very entertaining and addicting podcast. Inspiring to spend a bunch of money on 5e books and start a campaign. Mike and ben are both very talented dms. Good balance of laughs, tension, suspense and... MURDERS! I’ve laughed, gotten chills. This podcast is as addicting as the snail slime!

    Time Travel
Wow!! Talk about being transported back in time. This D&D podcast is absolutely awesome. I haven't played D&D in over 30 years and I was instantly transported back in time to when I was role playing in the mid 80's. Absolutely awesome creativity from both DM and slayers. I am absolutely hooked on listening to these episodes. Great job everyone.

Inspired play has inspired me to play.
Great storytelling combined with copious amounts of actual play has made this a podcast I haven’t been able to get enough of. I’ve been intrigued by Dungeons and Dragons since I was a kid, but wasn’t ever able to play. The podcast inspired me to buy the 5e Starter Set and dice sets for me and my kids so we can start our own campaign soon.

    I love what you’re doing
I’ve never played D&D but have always been curious. I’m 54 and play a lot of video games and have embraced my geekiness in my adulthood. My children are grown and moved on and I’ve been looking for more avenues of entertainment. I’ve unexpectedly fell in love with your podcast. I feel it’s like listening to a book on tape only better as it’s not monotone, or one person. You guys interact, banter, laugh and have an obvious good time. I really feel I’m there with you and enjoy listening. I’ve found I walk the dog a little longer each day so I can keep listening. One minor critique is the audio quality. It’s recorded a little low and with my Sony headphones I feel I nearly max out the volume to hear it. In my car I can’t listen with the windows down as it can’t get loud enough. And the audio sounds almost muffled. Maybe that’s just my critique. I still give you a 5 star review, great job.

I already rated it 5 stars
I rated this podcast 5 stars like 2 years ago. For some reason I was asked to rate & review today & it seems my original review is gone. Let me state very clearly that I am taking the time to write a 2nd 5-star rating because I love this podcast & you should too. Outstanding story, great interactions, comedy, drama, horror, action, role play all top notch! Do not miss out on the definitive live action rpg podcast! RC Cola!

    Hilarious without dragging
Just started this podcast, haven’t played DND in many, many years. Freaking hilarious! The players and DM have a great chemistry. Mess around a bit, but keep the story moving. Have tried a couple other gameplay podcasts and they just took too long to get going, this moves well from the beginning. The only thing that’s disappointing so far is that up to this point(episode 8), no one has called Hadir “The Stranger” after his mishap a couple episodes ago 😂. So sit back, crack a cold RC, tie a head to your belt and enjoy.

Murder Dice is a Critical Hit!
Totally takes me back to my friends and I playing way back in the day. It has all the real stuff that happens during a game with your friends. People busting each other’s chops, sharing real life stories and some seriously great role playing. I love that the group hides pertinent info from each other sometimes and that it causes some hilarious/tragic consequences. Bronson “Brain” Bonebreaker is the doofy jock we all knew in high school and Nicodemus’s plotting and scheming makes me love/hate him every week. All the characters have such great back stories and they crew plays them so well that you’ll wish you could sit in with them every week. Murder Dice has inspired me to create several characters and start to look for my own band of slayers.

Nostalgia with a 20 sided die
I’m only on episode 16, but I’m hooked! Reminds me of Friday nights in my friends basement as a kid. All the slayers and DM remind me of one or more of my old group. Especially the bad humor and movie references that gets thrown around (that people my age get). I can’t wait to hear how badly they kick Auntie Matildas butt!

    AmazeBallz!
I've finally caught up to current and it's been an amazing ride. If you love that classic D&D you played in highschool with a little 90's culture you will be all about Murder Dice. Keep up the get story!

Inspiration, Advantage and bit of luck
I have been a playing D&D for about 30 + years. I listen to all kinds of live play podcasts and have just binge listened to the entire first season in like a week and a half. Love Mike’s DM style and I look forward to Ben’s campaign. These guys are not just podcast celebrities but active gaming community members who are more than willing to help a fellow player out in a pinch which I should know as these guys helped my game when I messaged them 20min before my session asking about the crit table and they got me a pic of it and it made our session that much better. Thanks guys for your work here as a podcast and at the table. As a DM it’s given me some “Inspiration”

A promising start, lots of rolling for unnecessary stuff but otherwise hopeful

    The best!!
Murderdice is easily the best dnd actual play podcast out there. The second season is just as good as the first. The players are fantastic role players and the balance between rp action and zany humor is perfect!!

So nice, I get to do it twice.
Crack open a refreshing RC Cola and give this podcast a listen. Great story, great characters, and great people behind the show. Both hands down...favorite Dnd podcast. Mike and David...this is for you, The night is on my mind The sun’ll still shine But now the night is on the mind The night is on the mind The night is on yo mind Ayo, the sun’ll still shine But now the night is on the mind

    Love this Podcast!
I drive around for work so I needed something to listen to during the day. I have listened to hours and hours and can’t get enough. Some of my DND campaigns have fell through and this has been giving me a nice fix. Can’t wait for more each week.

    Let’s get murdering
From Baddies to Horses there is no one that can stop the Slayers. Or the listener from laughing with the group playing.
  • The Baron Von Tito
One of the finest DnD Actual Plays out there
Step aside other actual plays because this is the one to listen to. What other dnd podcasts and streams seem to miss a lot of Is the feeling of sitting at the table with everyone. With Critical Role and many of its simulacrums, I feel like I’m watching a “show,” or rather, just people playing dnd, sometimes with a high production value. Where Murder Dice separates itself from the others is that I feel like it’s a Friday night, I’m at my buddy’s house, and we are rolling dice, cracking open beers, and just having a good laugh. It all is genuine and you can tell the MD gang prioritizes the “at the table” feeling over the “ooooh look at us playing DnD.” If you’re looking for a new actual play, Murder Dice is the place to be. Outside of just the podcast, it’s community, cast, and fan base are all wonderful people and deserve your support. -Puddins

    The perfect DnD group
I love this podcast. This is everything that I want from my DnD group but never happens. The story is great right from the start and stays strong. Update no spoilers. You guys know how to really toy with emotions. The story doesn’t stop improving and your RP is on point. May your rolls be true.

    A homicidally great time
I was going to make a funny review but I think sometimes it's good to be honest, plus I'm not funny sooo. I've listened since around episode 30ish of the first season. In that time this podcast has inspired me to start dming as my first time playing d&d, play with at max 4 separate groups dming 3, make 6 separate campaigns, relisten to the first season in full twice, tell all my friends about it, and even make an itunes account to give it a great review far later than I should have. This podcast is great likeable people loveable pc's and both loveable npcs and love to hate npc. I literally can not recommend this more but if i somehow could I most certainly would. Just have a listen and you'll love it just as much as I do.

    Awesome content
I’m new to dnd and just started a campajgn with my homies! Always been into rpg video games growing up and finally took the initiative to start a campaign with friends. Listening to this podcast has given me insight in what to change and adapt to in styles of play for myself. Told all my homies about it and I’m only on episode 11 but I’m binge listening through the work weeks! Keep it up. Happy slaying!

    I’ve become a Murderer
I randomly went searching for d&d podcasts to listen to while waiting for my other podcast to update. I came across MurderDice and was a little iffy at first but as soon as I started listening I was hooked. This groups of awesome nerds feeds my addiction for D&D and I really enjoy it. I highly recommend this podcast! If you don’t listen I’ll find you and stab you...

    Murder dice almost murder me!!
While I’ve grown accustomed to the shenanigans of the slayers, never in my life could I think that they bring up a half elf taint and cause me to nearly fall of my ladder while working. (Ep 54 The rumble of darkstrom bubble gut!) Love this podcast, even if it did try and murder me.

My DND-ginity Was Taken By Murderers
It took me a while to leave a review on Itunes, but my determination paid off. This is the first DND podcast I've listened too, and after an extensive journey through many others, its one of a kind that can't be replicated. The players are funny and notable when interacting with the world, and impressive with how seriously they take on the persona of their character. The death of player characters don't ruin the series, since the players are so fluid with change and conflict. Mike, the DM, is a master word smith. His vivid descriptions of events and scenes are phenomenal. What made me truly appreciate Mike as a DM was learning about his pregnancy system, when a player gets frisky with an NPC. All in all, I've been on Murder Dice since the start and have enjoyed the rollercoaster experience, I've suggested this series to many of my friends. If your looking for a mesmerizing DnD experience, look no further my friend.

    Super Awesome
Just wanted to thank you guys for making my Night shifts so much more enjoyable. I listen to them all night, it helps stave off the boredom and makes me feel like I’m in a campaign myself. Thanks for the quality content

    Super fun
These cats are fun and Mike has created an outstanding world to adventure in!

    Super awesome
I listen to a few d&d podcast and I keep catching up with where they currently are recording so I keep looking for new ones. The last few haven’t grabbed my attention and I keep looking. I happened upon this and it was a slow character build for the first episode but that’s common cause you have to get to know who the players are playing. After that it seemed to just get better and better. The group meshes extremely well and the side conversations that just end up in 3-5 mins of laughter makes it much more interesting. Thank you for making some quality material 😁

Wow I'm late on this, 72 episodes late. But hey, we all gotta kill it at some point. (Like Drez) Man, if you want a funny, interesting, intense DnD experience, this is the podcast for you. They have a KILLER dm, and a great cast to boot. This community is probably one of the coolest I've ever found. The story is so vivid, and you really feel like you understand the whole world that Mike has created. And man, the later episodes are a RIDE. There's the ups and downs of falling in love with the stories characters, and the guys all do such a great job playing them. So what are you waiting for?? Become a murderer!!!!!! -TheValorBard <3 (Also, Mike gets an inspiration point for being so awesome.)

    Caution! Addicting AF!
I had just started playing when a good friend of mine steered me to this podcast, needless to say...one episode is all it took. Mike is an amazing DM and the guys get into character and play so well that it feels like you're at the table with them! With immersive story telling, in-depth backstories and unrivaled roleplaying, laughs, tears and shouts of joy are bound to follow (sometimes all in one episode). This group is the prime example of dungeon party goals and make Monday something to look forward to. Plus its a nice fix when you haven't played in a while. Murder on, ya filthy animals!
  • Storywriter89
Once the murder starts, you can’t stop. (See what I did there)
Murder dice was recommended to me, not once, but twice and by the second time I was ready to start another podcast. After a episode or two, it grabbed me and I was hooked till I was caught up. It isn’t to often that a podcast can get me that fast but they did. The Players sounds like players, and what I mean by that.m is human and like your buds (said bubs and wanted to keep it) that you play with at your own game. The story-telling keeps you to the end, the jokes are fun and the laughter from their tears to yours—you will find yourself having a great time and before you know it, like me. You will be all caught up and waiting weekly as patiently as you can for the next episode to drop. These guys are great, and you I don’t think you will regret giving them a shot. -The narrator Cody.

    Joyful for Jubei
So far I am just finishing episode 10 and my only criticism so far is that more NPC’s should be voiced like Jubei. The voice is so calming and soothing it’s almost as if I am in the forest listening to the wind. Other than that it has been enjoyable to listen commenting from Salem to Portland for work. Makes traffic bearable and sometimes I even hope I hit some so I can listen longer. I just started tuning my first dungeon with a group of friends and this has taught me a lot about playing D and D. Keep it up and remain whole!
  • Primusgod1993
The show that finally got me to listen to a podcast!
As more of a newbie to D&D, I’ve enjoyed the show educationally and have been thoroughly entertained along the way. I like the fact that there is a “newbie” on the team because I have learned things along with her. My only regret of listening to this podcast is it kills me to not be able to see the team members in person at hilarious moments, like Kyle and his “allergies” in episodes 5 and 6. If you’re new to D&D or have been around the block a few times, you’ll enjoy this podcast!

    Great podcast!!! A must listen!!!
Hey guys, love the podcast, only on episode 19 so far but looking forward to many more! You make my 8 hour night shift in a (haunted) hotel go by much faster. I’ll definitely recommend this podcast to my friends. I hope our slayers prevail, I hope the overlord is defeated and I hope Hadir is re-handed(de-feet-ed?).
