Some cons: Jimmy’s obsession with Deb gets a tad annoying. She’s nothing special. Pros: was Rauce until iHeart made an awful decision.

Was 5 stars before Rauce left. The rest of the cast is great, but like a bar stool, it needs four legs to be enjoyable.

I started listening to WTKS/Real Radio 1041 .1 second 1993 with Jim Phillips and Clyde Thomas. Monster started Saturday mornings I heard they’re very first show and haven’t stop listening until I move back to Michigan. Discovered them on Xm and then XM went away and thank God for iHeart. Our Jimmy Guyton show and it’s the best thing on the station in my opinion I also love the news junkie and monsters Tom and Dan and Real Laughs. thank you iHeart now if we could just get the timing to where it matches up with the actual broadcast I’ll be all set. Seems like it’s always about 30seconds behind.

This review is not intended to hurt anyone’s feelings. It is my attempt to save my favorite radio program. I live north of Jacksonville and travel to Central Florida 2-3 times per week, (your station is preset on my car stereo), i download the shows of the days when I’m not in Central Florida I really enjoy your show! Jim and Jack you have had the success and the experience to know what works and what doesn’t. For example, I used to listen to the monsters in the morning every time I was in central Florida. Then they brought back Savannah and her constant yelling all show long, put a dampener on my listening. Then they brought in a couple of new guys and one of them would FAKE laugh at almost everything that was said, that’s when I stopped listening completely to the monsters. So that left me with only the great Jim Philips, he then retired (Sad days, really miss his show). Then your show started and there was joy in Mudville once again( I’m really not blowing smoke). When you first started TJCS, it filled the void of not having THe Philips Phile or The Monsters to listen too. Then Debora news segments seemed to have gotten longer, her segment sounds like there is no prep for her segment, ( on Facebook feed it shows and sounds that she is reading the stories directly from her phone) this is my 2nd least favorite segment of your show. Let me correct myself, it is my least favorite segment of the show, Rauce thoughts is a close 3rd, at least that segment is really funny when his mother is a part of that segment. My least favorite thing on the show is the Extremely LOUD FAKE LAUGHS of Debora and her pointless interruptions that she thinks are facts. Once again, I am not trying to hurt anyone feelings, I guess I’m being greedy by not wanting my favorite show to change that I’ll loose interest. I truly wish you the best and kind of know that my word won’t change anything. I thank you all for the laughs and education that your show provided me. I guess parting is truly sweet sorrow! Thanks guys, it’s been fun!

I like how Jim Colbert has built this show with Deborah Roberts’ Animal House to Rauce Padgett’s Rause Thoughts and everything else.

I was pretty bummed when the Phile finished, but Jimmy 159 and his crew are killing it! Great stuff!

Sabrina is exhausting. I can’t wait till she leaves like she did in Secret Shows. It’s always walking on eggshells with her. Cringe

Bulldog of a host, that is admittedly entertaining at times; But just an average talk radio show. The co-hosts do what they can for the chemistry and flow of the show, but it is often a hostile/know-it-all point of view from Jim, which they are generally badgered into agreement. Also, it doesn’t help that he/they are trying to fill the shoes of an exceptional radio program- The Philips Phile. Nonetheless, do better. And preferably stop acting like you are an equally awesome program- until you actually are.

Your show makes me laugh out loud every tat.. at least once. And I am a woman telling everyone I know to listen. Just like you asked. You make driving 14 miles I-4 aka 50 minutes something to look forward to. Thank you.

I’ve been a fan of real radio 104.1 since the early 2000’s. If you like entertaining talk radio then this is the show for you. Jim assembled a dynamic group of professionals that have something for everyone.

I’ve been waiting years for Jim to get his own show. Well deserved and quality content from everyone involved. I hope this lasts as long as the Phile did.
