This is a fun podcast. Nick's calm personality is a plus and he delivers the tales very well. A great comedian too. Edi is annoying! Her voice, yelling and childishness are not the qualities of a podcaster.

I’m a new listener I grew up in a house that was haunted and I work at a place that is haunted I can see and hear spirits so I love everything spooky scary and supernatural. I love your podcast. Great job guys

Rated 5 stars just for the “I saw the reason why we don’t have healthcare” joke. Makes me want to reopen my senses when I hear some stories; I don’t recall closing them but it’s clear I did. Then again, my house feels warm and cozy, and I have never gotten even the tiniest creepy feeling here. So I suppose it’s a trade. Edi says don’t go looking but also is recently working her ability stuff, so I guess we all feel both ways.

Love edi but please make some just the terror it’s been to long

I started listening to you guys here in Charlotte, NC about a month ago and love it. I just got to the prison episode with the hotdog and the poo parrot… I was literally crying laughing all by myself trying to work. 🤣 I got my husband listening to you guys on a recent road trip. He is now a huge fan. I swear you guys are our kindred spirits. My favorite episodes are the drunk episodes. So funny. Keep on keepin’ on. I’m excited to hear more and become… …more UGLIER. 🙂

I love it! It’s exciting and scary but the only issue I have with it is sometimes- not all the time- Edi and be really rude to nick. Idk if that’s just her personality or their friendship/relationship, but it can be really off putting. Don’t get me wrong I love how they interact with each other sometimes but other times it just seems like she walks all over nick.

Did you seriously call your listeners , your “UGLIES”? That’s just So off putting . That isn’t why I’m unsubscribing though. The sound quality is ATROCIOUS. Very tin can sounding .

Love this podcast! For the most part it is really clean. The early shows swear more, but they have evolved and are clean now(which I love) I mostly have to be careful with ‘just the terror’ episodes. There have been some extremely disturbing ones that I had to turn off. I think the hosts are hilarious and love scary stories 😁

Absolutely LOVE this podcast! I stumbled across this podcast while researching cryptids and found the black eyed children episode and I’ve been hooked ever since. The choice of stories is phenomenal and Nick’s reading voice sounds more professional than most scary story readers, also I totally kin Edi. Being a fellow homeschooler and being prone to go on tangents just like her, I find her very funny and lovable with a contagious laugh and ultimate chaotic energy. This is the main podcast I listen to just because its the perfect mix of funny and scary. I 101% recommend! (P.S. If you two are reading this, you should totally do an episode on the backrooms next!)

This was by far the worst episode of a podcast I have ever listened to. The fumbling would be understandable if this was your first episode but you have a ton. This is the end for me. Unfollowing- it was awkward to begin with and this just puts it over the top. I only have so much time to listen.

Nick reads too fast with no flow. Sounds like it’s one big run on sentence. Seems more often than not they are disrespectful to the writers of the stories. The stories aren’t scary and the comedy isn’t funny. Overall it’s just too obnoxious for me but I’m sure there are plenty that love it.

True scary stories has been my favorite podcast for spooky tales by two people who actually talk about the legends behind cryptids, aliens, and everything else that goes bump in the night. Scariest story so far has to be “Pop Tart,” I swear I couldn’t sleep for a week!

I am a truck driver and I can listen to this awesome podcast for hours.keep up the good work and edi is my favorite 👍🏻nick is alright as well. Thanks for the entertainment 🤪

I love podcasts about creepy or supernatural phenomena and this is one of my favorites! I listen to “just the terror” to fall asleep at night and I like the regular episodes w more convo between Edi and Nick on my commute to work :)

i love this podcast both shows are great! Nick has the best reading voice for this,it’s so soothing love listening to it at night helps me wind down and relax before bed! you guys def make me lol with your commentary but ty i so wish you guys were more consistent with the shows like it’s tuesday and just the terromr nstill hasn’t been dropped! when i first started listening over a year ago it dropped on sunday an then monday and now it just comes when it does there is no consistency!

You should have edi read more even when nick is there

My 9 year old granddaughter turned me on to your ‘Clown’ episode. I really found your commentaries at the end of each story enlightening, humorous with good sound advise for kids and parents! Don’t hire cheap clowns!!! Most of the stories were from that age of still being somewhat connected to the other dimensions which fade with time. Trustful and innocent, easy targets for warped souls and predators who seek control and power. This podcast gave us an opportunity for discussion. Thanks! We gave you 5 stars! Oh ya it’s so good

Was turned on to the show while listening to HomeSchooled Podcast w/ Agostino Zoida & Kevin Lyons. Insta fan right away. Edi is totally adorable & just fun... Nick is fantastic at reading the stories and is just genuinely funny ... Great chemistry between them. I even enjoy their add readings. 3 episodes deep & subscribed... total fan now. Wouldn’t call me an ugly, however opinions vary. Thanks guys... 5 Stars all the way- Much love Chuck Seas

Some of the stories are interesting but they claim to be comedians and paranormal experts yet they’re not that funny and have a very basic knowledge of the paranormal

These two characters are the best podcast hosts ever. I have listened to all the episodes, and I love the funny quirky personalities of these two. This podcast is all I listen to when I am driving or washing dishes.... so if they stop making episodes I will have no choice but to turn into a recluse that never leaves my house and I will have to start using disposable dishes. I am one of the folks who has listened forever and has not left a review, and I need to make up for it by saying that this is an A+ amazing funny, awesome, wonderful, hilarious, spooky, great podcast!! If you’re not subscribed to this podcast then why even subscribe to any podcast? This should be at the top of everyone’s playlist!

I really like comment section more than stories. Nick is a great reader and Edi’s comments are always funny.

I love it but... I think Edi needs to stop speaking fast and Um.. I don’t want to put this in a rude way but... Edi needs to stop talking over nick and let him speak and Um stop thinking about you but think what your going to say before saying it. I love Nicks voice and how he makes it really sound real. Sorry Edi if you take this offensive but pls take it as a way to improve your part of the podcast.

I love this podcast. It is one of my favorite podcast to listen to. Edie and Nick are hilarious and I can only recommend this podcast to anyone who likes horror stories and has a sense of humor! Anyone who gave this podcast less than 5 stars is a grumpy, self hating C word who needs to start enjoying life! Go listen y’all! 😃😈

I love this podcast, but a recent story about Addie Fitch came straight from the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark Anthology. The rest have all sounded real, and I have enjoyed, I would just encourage them to search online to verify that the stories are not from published works of fiction.

Have listen to every single podcast and will continue to. Just wish y’all would upload more often even multiple times a week Edi and Nick y’all cool lol

Super enjoy this show, and really want to love it, but only bc of Nick, the only one who actually reads the stories, the only one who is objective and free of a nauseating self-inflated ego. Every once in a blue moon Edi goes half a show without being directly rude to Nick and talking over him, but she’s always completely inappropriate, judgmental, and straight mean on a general human level. Seems arrogant beyond belief of Edi that they’ve had this show together for years, with his show on his own still under her name, though he’s much more successful as a comic, brings more clout to the show, is charming and actually entertaining to listen to, with minimal arrogance and a de-escalating nature to Edi’s aaaalmost likable brand of the uneducated know it all... She still can’t remind listeners enough that we’re listening to True scary stories with Edi. How is it not with Edi and Nick? This is made more annoying when she constantly scolds him for what to do and not do on the podcast. He didn’t even read a single curse word in one story and she yelled 3 times “we don’t cuss on this show, ignore Nick.” Like no, lady, you think wayyy too much of yourself, we’re all here trying to ignore your yelling, cracking voice that is straight painful to the ear just to hear Nick. please stop yelling with a cracked voice over Nick, it’s pretty clear to see he carries the show.

Especially the episodes with Edi’s commentary! She can also read really well, y’all da best!

I highly recommend Just the Terror episodes with Nick. I can’t stand Edi’s commentary on the other episodes. Her voice and commentary is so annoying. I’m only subscribed for Nicks episodes. Keep it up Nick.
