I love inside politics podcast so I can listen in my car but they take so long to upload episodes. I feel like it’s less relevant 2 days later.

New hosts and guests should have found their way by now. It sometimes seems like an entertainment show, sometimes news. Presents it’s views from a very slanted, non-neutral point. The constant complimenting each other (my great reporters, the great article you wrote, etc) seems a bit unprofessional. The addition of interviews is laughable. It’s supposed to be inside politics. Letting a politician rant about their view is not a deep dive inside a story.

John, I respect your show. But last night… CNN for some reason gave a hour + to a Presidential candidate. The only Presidential candidate out there who has ever attempted to topple our form of government. That candidate used his free CNN time to trashed and humiliate the CNN news organization - delighting his on camera supporters and modestly boosting his attempted March back to power. I hope your organization doesn’t next week decide to now give the tobacco industry or a drug cartel member a CNN town hall to discuss the joys of smoking or the wonders of shooting heroin. I hope you understand why I may not be listening or watching your show, or to any content from CNN going forward. I like you and I hope you will consider jobs at a better news organization. Equating evasive answers about whether Biden should run in ‘24 (which no actual voter cares about) to “I have a fake badge, so I’m police,” is just dumb, so so dumb!

The only thing talked about on the podcast is Donald Trump. I understand he’s an important topic, however, he’s not the only thing going on in the political sphere.

Abby and John are the most thoughtful people in the news today. They are well-informed, responsible, and speak in a calming manner, unlike too many others in the business. They take a little extra time to thank guests (and their families) who’ve suffered because of uncivilized threats, violence, catastrophes. Bravo!

I get that it’s CNN, but even by their standards, the personalities on this show twist themselves into some absurd pretzels in defending Biden’s economic record. Every single day they have his back on everything.

Abby Phillip is intelligent and a joy to listen to/watch. I just want more of her insight and perspective. It is level and reasonable yet impactful. Please consider an Abby podcast or her own show!!!

John King is one of my favorite news reporters. We need more like him in America in these polarizing times. He is polite, concise, and clear. Highly recommended.

Consider adding the time spot of each topic discussed. See the Friendly Atheists podcast episode notes is a great example. The listener can scan the notes and just listen to any particular portion. With more and more podcasts, listeners only have a finite amount of time.

When will CNN & itunes begin updating this podcast again on a daily basis? I cannot listen live & do not understand why daily updates have been mysteriously scrapped.

This show features everyone determined to spread Russian talking points. John king doesn’t push back against falsehoods at all, he encourages lying and both side-ism and seems to get excited about the death of democracy. If the panel and the host lack the knowledge or insight to educate the public than you have failed as a fair broker in the advancement of news for this nation.

Greatly enjoy the podcast but find the ever-increasing commercials disrupting and unneeded. Start and stop with them but don’t interrupt narrative. Thanks.

Every episode there is a steady ringing sound through out the episodes, from beginning to end. It does cut out during recordings from Capitol Hill. But when it goes back to studio it comes back. Also, the sound is too low, this episode I need to max my volume to hear it clearly

This is the podcast that gets me up to date quickly on my ride home. Because it’s reporters and not pundits (usually 😉), I feel like I’m getting good info- I used to DVR and watch when I got home, this is a great alternative. Being from Boston, I am also a John King fan, but I still listen when someone subs for him!

Love this podcast, but have been disappointed at when it drops in the past week. This kind of show runs daily and the news changes quickly, used to drop mid afternoon now I’m missing days of the podcast! I miss it!

The commercial for Roman Erectile Dysfunction medication reinforces negative stereotypes about ‘the way guys are’. There is no one way to be male. I enjoy the show but these commercials are offensive and sexist. John King REALLY seems to struggle NOT to editorialize. I actually agree with most of the things he says... but journalism is about reporting truth not making endorsement/judgement statements.

Long overdue addition to the cnn podcast network. Glad to have John King in my ears at lunch time now that I don’t get home for lunch any more.
