    Gaslit Nation is Super Informative
Gaslit Nation is a not to be missed podcast. I listen every week and learn more from this podcast by the brilliant Andrea Chalupa than from my daily reading of the NYT, WAPO and WSJ. Listen to Andrea and her many knowledgeable quests and you will stimulate new growth of dendrites in your bran. So do yourself a favor and become a listener and a financial supporter of this cutting edge podcast. With trump threatening the very survival of our democracy this show will offer you hope for our very survival.

    Andrea’s Gaslight Nation
I used to be a regular listener but had to stop once Sarah left. I got tired of the Russia bad Ukraine good and the over emotional Andrea crying every other second. Time to take a brake and a vacation.

Just because you’re paranoid does that mean they’re not after you
I have been listening to this since the earliest post-days of the 2016 Election. always sympathetic to the cause, i found them a little alarmist, since these Cassandras thave been proven correct in matter after matter. they know of which they speak, you should fear accordingly b/c if you aren’t afraid, you aren’t paying attention. and read their books!!

    Simply fantastic
Educational, insightful, inspiring – she is a great interviewer and thinker, and I thoroughly enjoy the show!

    Sarah is a bitter tw*t
She got a lot of airtime during the Trump administration but her books fell flat & now she’s just a dried up hack.

    Pronunciation
Andrea, about your “that’s how it would have been said in Latin” double-down, do you also pronounce Julius Caesar as “Yoo-li-uss Kai-sar” (not to mention Chalupa as “Kalupa”)? A recent video has the editor in chief and every reporter interviewed there pronouncing it ProPUBlica, not ProPOOBlica. Another article said that while some do pronounce it ProPOOBlica, “most folks here in the newsroom pronounce it ProPUBlica.” Of course, it’s your right in the POOBlic discourse to pronounce the name of that POOBlication how you want, no matter how unlikely or uncommon, or anecdotal or antiquated the justification (and despite the fact there were short “u” vowel sounds in Latin as well as long) but I won’t be gaslit about this either.

    Inventing their own Q-Anon?
I gave this podcast 25 mins. About 10 mins in some red lights started going off. It’s a little difficult to place them on the political spectrum—they drop phrases like “idiots on the left thought…” and also talk about Obama being responsible for Russia turning Syria into a Russian military base. On the other hand, there are a thunk of right wing ding dongs leaving 1 star reviews accusing them of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Meanwhile with 10k Palestinian civilians (half of them children) and counting, these hosts are in tin foil red string territory about Russia training Hamas to be paragliders. They sound like a strain of Q-Anon.

    A little too much whaling
I’m mostly aligned with the views of the hosts, but it gets really hard to listen to a podcast when the tone is so frantic and hyperemotional. You cover tough topics for a living, enough of the sputtering and screaming please. It dilutes your message and drives listeners away from important conversations. Well placed and appropriate emotions can be very effective and humanizing, but when a host has a mental breakdown every 3rd sentence I just…have to shut it off. Sorry guys.

It’s an OK podcast but complete amateur hour
The production on this is beyond subzero quality. You hear people opening and closing doors and mashing their food with a fork. It’s hilariously bad. The content is fine. Sometimes a bit dramatic but overall a good message. It’s just hard to listen to.

    Blue-Anon
Take one part Joy Reid, one part Mehdi Hasan fold in some Chapo Traphouse, mix with ayahuasca sprinkle with Adderall and you have this, the Left’s answer to Q-Anon.

    Telling it like it is
Like the show it gets really depressing and I agree with the speaking style being dissonant and unlistenable. I thought it was just me. But yeah they need some production help maybe? Otherwise the content is great!

    Virginia
They are micro targeting and going into homes to solicit by sweet taking old ladies to vote for them 4/27/22: Sarah and her attach on Biden is ridiculous. She focus and criticize of the federal government and power, instead of focusing and criticizing on her representatives in her state and other states. And need to pour her anger on local leadership. Her view is very immature and lacks of understanding of the country civic education. A president deals with like 50 countries/states

Voice harsh & creeping towards blue anon
This kind of panicked & fever dream stuff is very bad all around. The fascism we’re battling in this country doesn’t need a second q anon. It’s not at all helpful & I can’t deal with the way this show is completely bashing the only people standing in front of this wave of fascism. YOU ARE HELPING THEM. It’s gross and sad.

    Truth is depressing
I have listened to many episodes and have yet to catch the hosts short or exhibiting bias. They have exposed the rot in America and how our politicians and institutions have been compromised. It’s depressing because it’s true. But democracy is fatiguing and we must become informed and soldier on.
  • RobSub
    Intelligent host
This is an intelligent podcast. These host do their homework and are fully prepared for their episodes. They bring evidence and facts to support their arguments. Definitely worth a listen.

    Essential info for the masses
Sarah Kendzior and Andrea Chalupa are two of the most important, incisive, righteous and dogged investigative journalists exposing the rot of corruption and its roots. The MSM rarely has had the courage to give them a platform on because the (ongoing) sick, sordid history and of power, manipulation and corruption are too uncomfortable to hear.* But essential, and necessary. [*they'd rather help Bill Barr sell his book]
  • Heudjejsuxhdndbxhd
smart content but difficult on a sensory level
the host’s speech style is too intense got my too consistently listen to for the period of time the episodes run for. you can hear the muscular tension and strain and it stresses me out so much. perhaps allowing others to speak would help. the host isn’t yelling but the strain makes it sound like yelling to me. a lot of episodes feel like monologues, and then i realize suddenly someone else is actually there. the content is interesting and gives a new way of thinking about current events, especially if concerned about imperialism.

Staunch, Courageous, Informed Champions of Democracy!
Sarah Kendzior and Andrea Chalupa are two of the most informed, outspoken, diligent bullhorns of truth. They are intense, pugnacious, clear minded, and relentless sleuths. This tag team of commandos for freedom are diligently exploding the daily tsunami of lies, distortions, deceit, and pervasive corruption of the Authoritarian Extreme Right. Their brilliant and powerful searchlights illuminate the stench, rot, slime, ruthlessness, vulgarity, and pervasive fascist assault on our 246 year experiment in self-governance. At this Moment, we hang by a thread between a damaged, bruised and woefully struggling democracy and the dark, brutal, endless despair of tyranny. Gaslit Nation is a stalwart defender of all we hold dear and fight tirelessly against those dedicated to destroying American Democracy and Free Societies throughout the World. As a Disabled Vietnam Veteran and Proud Citizen of the United States of America, I support and salute such Patriots as You Both.

    Love the Content
I especially love the deep dives into the desire for liberal “saviors”; and the digging into corruption which’s often overlooked, like that of Jamie Gorelick. The microphones don’t pick up higher vocal registers well, causing me to miss phrases and having to rewind during my commute or walks in the park. I could see myself subscribing to the Patreon if the audio were more clear

    Excellent
This show is really top notch. Both of these women are very educated, informed and very articulate. They have great chemistry and don’t try to talk above one another like other political podcasts. This is a mix of history & current events that these ladies put into layman’s terms perfectly. Much love girls!

Essential listening for lovers of Democracy
What sets hosts Andrea & Sarah and this show apart is their compassion, empathy, and their love of humanity. They pull no punches. They don't peddle in despair nor outrage. Gaslit Nation is my most trusted journalistic source on the threats to American democracy, the global democratic project, and by extension the survival of our species.

    Wonderful and thank you
I love Sarah Kendzior. There. I said it. Just started reading her new book, They Knew. It’s wonderful in life when you listen to people that have been insightful, honest and strong enough to place themselves exactly in the right spot, at the right time, where the world needs them. Thank you so so much for all you’ve done and for all you will do preserving our past and our future.

If you’re not listening you need to!
Andrea Calupa’s movie Mr Jones is so moving and educational regarding what Ukraine has been through historically. Sarah Kendzior’s books are must-reads for those who don’t know but want to know. Thank you to both these women for this podcast!

    Sad attempt at being objective
Delusional and completely bias leftists smearing half the country as ignorant. Completely absent of facts and completely full of false narratives. They have gaslit themselves. Awful show.

    Two of My Favorite Podcasters
The interview with Jason Kander is one of the best I’ve listened to on a podcast. Sarah Kendzior and Jason Kander’s respect for each is refreshing and the interview flowed beautifully. The love they have for the people of Missouri opened my eyes to biases I didn’t realize I had. Thank you!
  • The mak69
    Thank you ladies.
Being raised as a latchkey kid you are doing my mother a great honor. We all came from a woman, so why can’t we give them authority over their body and decisions. If one is here to pontificate and or castigate before false witness without acknowledging from which they came, one has not an argument to make upon that which they decree or purport to castigate

    Trump Derangement Syndrome
Wow you ladies are really affected by TDS . There was no nuclear documents taken by trump after he left the White House. The documents the FBI were looking for were the Russia Gate documents which implicate Barrack Obama , Hillary Clinton , and Joe Biden.
  • Andre8524
    Prescient and empowering. Strongly recommend.
This is vital socio-political commentary informed by years of experience and world-weary wisdom. We ignore the voices of these women at our own peril. Listen and take heed.

    Gaslit Nation
Absolutely the best one-stop shop for history and chronicles of the times we are in. Kendzior and Chalupa’s decades-long research makes the connections and reveals global corruption “in plain sight”. It’s scary real, yet these two women give me the courage to listen and then act.

    Way ahead of the curve
Just went back and listened to the feb 2021 episode about Jan 6 entitled Where is Chris Wray? Indeed, we can still ask the same question in July 2022. One month after the attack on the capitol, Gaslit was asking questions just now being approached by the 1/6 committee. The Gaslit team saw it all clearly in real time. Yet 18 months have been frittered away with still no meaningful prosecutions or sense of urgency.
  • Love it though
    The USA needs these voices
I rely on this content to stay informed & to stay sane. Thank you so much for making this show.
