I love this podcast, but I’m disappointed at how you left out one key issue to the abysmal job report. People who make more money not working won’t want to work. I am well aware that there are people who have genuine reasons for not working. However, there are many not returning to work because they’re making more on unemployment.

Axios recap delivers insightful interviews on time, and in just the right amount of time. Dan delivers.

This is one of the best Podcasts for US current affairs but due to their left-lean, I have to give it two stars. The news should not have another addenda besides informing their listeners. These episodes are incredible 90% of the way until, like clockwork, they close each episode with a biased opinion instead of examining other points of view.

Dan’s presentations & choices of topics are spot-on ... I do my colleagues a big favor when I recommend Axios’s content, and Dan’s audio programs in particular !!

By far one of my favorite daily news podcasts. Pithy, succinct, and alway on the edge.

Big Dan fan, love the tone, very straightforward and value extracting questions. Good that Dan brings ppl from both sides of aisle. Keep up the mostly unbiased work.

I love getting my daily “Dan” fix while I walk the dog! The interviews are wonderful and so interesting!

I don’t miss an episode of this show. It’s quickly risen to my regular afternoon news cast. The host is able to ask great questions, there’s always a moment that makes me smile, and I get informed on things I didn’t hear from anywhere else!!!

I still don’t know the host’s name. Everything he says sounds like it’s gone through a sock then a tunnel. Every time he announces his name at the beginning of the show, it’s unintelligible. Debra Mack? Dan Berman? Dab Reman? The topics could be interesting. The guests could be interesting? I like hearing what the guests have to say, and I keep hoping they’ll give the host voice coaching or a better mic. Good luck, dude.

No sense in these rewind episodes. If I want to re-listen to an episode I will simply do that myself. With so much happening right now, new episodes would be great. If you can’t produce new episodes, then just don’t.

The show’s format is compact, non-sensationalist, and relates the most important story or stories of the day in a way that generally makes for a listening experience that informs without pandering to the audience’s fear or other negative emotions; news that’s only bad when it needs to be, not gratuitously.

Prior to this Tik Tok ban the show did a good job of mixing up the content, now it feels like that’s all that’s talked about. I’m sure there’s more going on in the world than the back and forth of this tech deal. Can we mix up the content?

Used to be great until Dan had Jason Calcanis on who participated in a targeted harassment campaign against Taylor Lorenz. Balaji Srinivasan, Paul Graham and Ben Horowitz were all complicit.

I’ve been looking for an in-depth, unbiased, news source without an agenda. I thought I may have found it but with your newest Axios Recap format came new levels of prophylactic liberal indoctrination. Your recent episodes have become increasingly left leaning leaving me skeptical about your journalistic integrity. For example, the episode on universal basic income never challenged where the money would come from, or how that system would affect personal self-worth, or economic impacts of removing incentive to work. Please have the courage to present all sides. Report the story. Don’t shape the stories to your narrative. I’ll give you a couple more weeks to determine if you’re about news or an agenda.

Love the content and listen daily but SO MANY COMMERCIALS for a show under 15 minutes. Not sure how that appeals to the advertiser but it’s annoying as a listener.

I loved this podcast. The next one better b better and just as short.

Please could you speak more slowly and in a calmer voice? I would enjoy this short, informative podcast if you just spoke a little more slowly.

I dislike this podcast for the same reason I dislike Axios generally. It’s simplistic, bite-sized, bullet-point treatment of news topics is like the TEDtalks version of things (which I equally despise). I prefer long form journalism, and deeper dives into complex new stories, like you get from the Guardian’s, the BBC’s, and the New York Times’ podcasts. Save your bullet points for a presentation in a college seminar classroom. Otherwise, the production qualities and technical elements of the audio are superb.

This is a quick and simple one or two topics a day to educate yourself on current topics. I highly suggest adding this podcast to your daily routine

It’s giving me a piercing headache

The topics, length of the podcast and host’s delivery are perfect. The problem is the lack of neutrality; the host allows his personal political beliefs to slant the content. This is too bad- by eliminating the slant and becoming truly neutral, I would give it 5 stars without question.

I subscribe to the daily pro rata podcast, which provides me with a brilliant daily business roundup without political commentary. Was hoping for the same with the pro rata podcast, but that’s not the case. It’s mostly political news and is joined with an extreme left bias. Which to me goes against what axios says it’s about on the about about page.

NAAP means Not Another Angry Podcast. The Axios site and emails provide useful news and headlines, so I signed up for this podcast. Instead of useful or insightful, got super angry, opinionated crap. Unsubscribed to the podcast and considering dropping the daily emails. Why is this so hard?

Really enjoy this podcast - the topics covered are broad and don’t always relate directly to tech and the market, but Dan is smart and provides good analysis of the issues and news he presents. The interviews are usually of other Axios persons, which is understandable. It would be good to hear more from other third parties though.

Dan's podcast reinforces the overall Axios value proposition to provide timely information to make us more informed. It is very well produced and stays on message by providing input and insights on business and politics. Dan is an excellent moderator that knows how to curate content and deliver it with energy and passion. I look forward to my daily dose of Pro Rata, and highly recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to keep up with today's trends, etc.

Love dan’s podcast, but wish he would talk more about business news the way he does in the written pro rata and cover less about politics. There are other places within Axios to keep up with politics.

Hey Dan, Love your Pro Rata newsletter and podcast. It’s a great dive into burgeoning business trends, and a good starting point to go down rabbit holes. If possible, I’d really enjoy a podcast of yours that was strictly just a word for word spoken out version of your daily Pro Rata newsletter. Seeking alpha Wall Street breakfast has a similar version of this. Keep up he good reporting!

Dan Primack is a colleague, but this podcast is my daily, midday must-listen to keep up with everything that is happening in the collision of tech, business and politics. Given the speed at which news cycles churn, Pro Rata is always up-to-date and efficiently informative. Keep it up!

Well worth it compared to the onslaught of news from other sources. Axios gives you enough information to research further. Great podcast!

Jim Vandehei and Mike Allen have seized on the dumbing down of America trend with a podcast, and the now-institution that stands behind it, that offers bite-size, commitment-free news for the profoundly attention-challenged person. If you can’t read an op-Ed in its entirety, or any news article, in full, then I don’t know what to tell you. Go watch Sesame Street

In my humble opinion, Dan Primack and Axios have delivered one of the only balanced podcasts out there today. Outstanding!

Fun, informative, short and packed with information and great interviews. Highly recommend for those interested in the intersection of media, policy, tech and finance !

Being familiar with Dan Primack through PE Hub to Term Sheet to Pro Rata, I was excited for the launch of the Pro Rata podcast. The podcast has not disappointed. The pace is quick but concise and clear. The host challenges guests with insightful feedback and critical questions. Mr. Primack podcasts as well as he writes - each medium is informative and engaging. Well worth 10 minutes of your day.

This is straight to the point, and Dan knows his stuff with no B.S. If you want to know what's actually going on with how the investment world is thinking about the tech, this is the podcast.

I’m biased - Primack is a colleague - but even if I weren’t I’d tell you this is worthy of your time. 10 minutes will make you smarter about deals and tech. Primack is brilliant.

Dan is one of the smartest reporters in America and lives up to the Axios promise of being worthy of your trust and time.

I’ve been reading @Danprimack’s emails for years. They’re great. But now this is great as I can multitask, drink my morning coffee whilst listening! And it helps me from getting distracted by clicking on links on mobile or online which I’m a divil for! Well done Dan! And Sara Fisher!
