Mygreen914Cap strategies to maximize your Social Security benefitsI found the conversation conducted between Casey Weade and his guest Nary Beth Franklin to be especially insightful and applicable. As a 64 year old man who his actively planning what "retirement" might hold and consist of, I am taking steps to appropriately plan for my financial needs and best way to achieve them. The information offered by the guest, as well as questions and input provided by the host were invaluable and greatly the best direction I should go regarding this matter. So thanks to Casey for another great episode. Kevin Taylor

Bobby mcphilFantastic PodcastYou shouldn’t compare a Monte Carlo to a plane crash. Quit calling it “the pod.”
-
PdcharterGreat all around source.Retirement guidance with emphasis on “purpose” though it covers so much more. Probably best for those nearing (3-5 years)or just at retirement transitions. Some episodes are “not my thing” but I would expect that when they are trying to cover the broad base of retirement questions and concerns.

SteveShefHolistic approach to retirementI started listening to Casey over a year ago. The information and insights are accessible to non-professionals. But, it's obvious that Casey knows what he's talking about. I, especially appreciate how both financial and psychological (and spiritual) issues are included. I only wish I had started listening before I reached my sixties. I've enthusiastically recommended this podcast to several friends and relatives who are at the same stage of life.

Blue RustyMy Go To PodcastI am 61 years old, and was laid off from my corporate job last year. I am now working as a para professional in an elementary school. This podcast meets me where I’m at in my life right now. Planning for retirement, but not quite ready. Great variety of financial and lifestyle topics. Guests are good too. Casey Weade is a great host. Highly recommend this show. Usually there are two shows per week, which I like. Give this show a try if you’re 55+. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

Fenway FirstCynthia Covey HallerI’ve listened to this podcast for months. This is my first review. I really enjoyed the discussion with Cynthia in Episode 419. It was interesting to hear her talk about her late father Stephen Covey. Her memories of him growing up were so heartfelt. As I approach retirement I enjoy discussions on what people are doing to fill their days in retirement in the service of others. Thank you for a good listen.

Depth and BreadthDepth and BreadthThis podcast has many diverse topics within the world of planning to live a purposeful life in retirement. It also goes in depth to many subjects like leaving a legacy and planning for aging parents by interviewing subject matter experts. Would recommend for anyone interested in being a perpetual student of the most important thing in life: purpose driven intentionality!
-
GeoTech GuyGreat podcast for retirementI’ve listen to several episodes now, and really like the material. They also discuss the “softer” side of retirement. Good example include the interview with Dr. Riley Moynes on “The Four Phases of Retirement”, and “What I Don’t Want” episode.
-
KStrat6138Listened 3 times!I just listened to Dr Moynes again. His explanation of the 4 Stages of retirement is pure gold. Every time I listen I “hear” something else that creates more clarity. Honestly, I will listen again. The questions and the responses are so insightful.
-

Beez199#410 and #413 Great relevance and insightI've been a listener since 2020 and enjoy many of the guests and topics. One that really caught my attention was David York in Episode #410 Building a Legacy that Lasts. David shared some ideas about adding purpose to estate planning that I had not considered prior to the podcast. After listening, I looked up David's Ted Talk from 2018. It was only eleven minutes and worth every second of my time. I also recently enjoyed Episode #413 Tools for Processing Grief with Krista St-Germain. Krista speaks about post-traumatic growth and weaving grief into your life. Grief isn't something to get over; it's something one lives with. Both of those episodes truly reasonated with me. Thank you so much Casey for providing great guests with insightful content.

jazzyjz2023I’m 80 and this podcast is super helpfulI have always taken total responsibility for our family’s finances. I’m 80 and now I realize I’m the only one who knows what’s going on financially. This podcast is really helping me learn how to plan our retirement with purpose, knowledgeably, and in consort with my family. I found especially helpful the episode, 7 Principles of Estate Planning. I really want to delve more deeply into these principles as well as the 3 questions children should know the answers to.

boater03410Estate Planning with David YorkMy wife and I created an estate plan for our family and recently updated it given some additional real estate we aquired. However, we simply used the cookie cutter method that David outlined in this podcast and after listening to this, I now have much more thinking I need to do before updating it again. I listed to most of these podcasts, but this was one of the first where I felt I needed to relisten and take some action. Thanks again for the great work

Wattage321Valuable insightWhat a great addition to all the financial retirement guidance available to audiences today… Retire with Purpose picks topics that challenges the audience to stretchy beyond financial calculations and evaluate the “why” of retirement. I just listened to Casey Weade and David York’s podcast and was encouraged to start having meaningful conversations with beneficiaries now…

JamJoeDRetirement is more than just financesAs I approach retirement, I spend a lot of time thinking about the financial aspects of things. The more I think about retirement the more I realize it’s about finding purpose in life. This podcast really helped clarify some of my thoughts and gave me a framework that I can use in my own situation. Thank you!

xqwtuiolhfsaFirst time - so glad I found this podcast seriesI listened to the podcast with Joan Macdonald where she empathized that Health is Wealth ! So true! It’s refreshing to find an inspirational podcast that does not just focus on money in retirement, but also on health.
-
Cmdp66InformationalI have listened to a bunch of different podcasts on retirement and this one is very informative. My wife who doesn’t listen to any retirement or financial podcasts listened to the entire podcast at my request. She is now wanting to listen more often. Thanks for a different style podcast.
-
cmc560Great topics and interesting guestsI learn about topics that I had not previously considered regarding retirement planning and the myriad of options and considerations which come into play including the idea of even what retirement actually looks like for others. I recommend for one and all. Thanks and keep up the great work!

Pattyc2Podcast: 406: Discovering The Four Phases of Retirement with Dr. Riley MoynesI just listened to the Retire with Purpose podcast for the first time. He had Dr. Riley Moynes on the podcast. Mr. Weade did an excellent job interviewing Dr. Moynes about his latest book the Four Phases of Retirement. The conversation was both educational and entertaining. I am definitely planning on listening to future episodes of the Retire with Purpose Podcasts.
-
Bearcat_62_freeGreat framework to think aboutRetirement is more than money, and the non-monetary part is usually discussed in ethereal terms most of the time. This was a cogent presentation. Thanks!
-
Simpy greatUseful framework for defining retirement goalsWorthwhile listening to those considering retirement but are concerned about how that will impact their identity.
-
SteveH8423Good contentThe retire with purpose content is very good on the softer topics of retirement like exercising over 50 and wellness over 70. The interviews are well thought out and easy to understand. The harder side of retirement, the financial side is very interesting but not sure if the purpose is to help DIY investors vs those who have money with them. It makes me want to question what is being suggested for my investments, but it also helps direct conversations with my advisor. If you are looking for advice that is based on your purpose in retirement then this podcast will be beneficial to you.
