This show has lost the plot.
Each episode is molded around the host’s priorities, including an entire season all about her. This self prioritizing is most evident when every episode includes the storyteller praising the host. Imagine editing hours of words and choosing what to cut and what to leave in order to tell the story best…and not cutting the praise for yourself. It’s weird. The story doesn’t need praise on her. SHE needs praise on her. It’s weird it’s not enough to hear it and that she has to make it part of the story. Every. Single. Time. And she repeatedly calls herself an investigative journalist. She has no degree, no experience. It’s insulting. She’s a podcaster, period. She also has a manipulative way of twisting and misleading stories to paint every perp on one side of the political aisle and every victim on the other. This isn’t reality and therefore does harm to victims. The host has issues. Reddit has several subs on her self absorbed focus, victim exploitation, and inability to accept criticism. She doxes people and blasts them on her stories for even the smallest criticism.

    Show has become unbearable
I used to love this show for the interesting stories and drama- but Tiffany has increasingly gotten herself so in the weeks with excessive unnecessary detail, it’s unbearable to listen to. She researches with hard work and passion, but I just can’t stick around and waste more time on this podcast.

    SEASON 1 ONLY
I wanted to love this so bad but the audio is just terrible. The way they pieced clips together and told the story just didn’t flow smoothly for me. The audio in earphones and my car speaker was such poor quality. The story itself is also poorly told by the people lol. They don’t tell it detailed enough and the narrator doesn’t ask follow up questions enough. I’m hoping the seasons since are done better.. it has potential for sure

    Use to be really good
Tiffany used to have a great way of telling stories, but lately, it seems like she’s been diving a bit too deep into some topics, making information episodes stretch to 45 minutes episodes its unnecessary. Sometimes, she also tends to have victims who tell their story that are so similar it like they are repeating the exact same stories, which can make thinks that you accidentally played the same episode. Please go back to the old Way of telling people stories.

    Phenomenal podcast
This is great to hear before/after giving birth, bc navigating how to advocate for your life and your baby’s life. My heart is broken hearing the midwife that gave birth, I think season 23. I will not forget your story and your kind heart. Your experience tears me up. You are an amazing and strong person. Shame on Origins.

    Megan Stoner
Can’t seem to get it up for the far right, pro life, pro gun, ex marine, etc. that she scammed/ inconvenienced (I feel it is ethical)…. But still very interesting. My husband has been sharing her fundraisers and recently caught wind of this stuff… I hate that she took advantage of good people. Still shocked at all the accusations. Thanks for doing all of this work!

    Ditch the intro song
Begging you. I have hoped for 22 seasons that you will finally ditch any version of this cacophonous disaster, and for 22 seasons I have been disappointed. Can’t do it anymore.

Love it but asking listeners for gifts in ads is super trashy
Love the show but asking for a gift in the ads is really trashy. Why are you asking listeners for gifts? It feels really inappropriate especially considering the seriousness of the content in this pod for you to be panhandling for gifts in your ads. Get it for yourself instead of begging listeners who are already supporting you by even listening to your pod. Every time I hear that ad I want to turn the show off.

    Tiffany, you are amazing
Tiffany, thank you for sharing your own story and for doing other survivors such amazing justice in the entirety of this podcast. You are deeply talented. As a trans person, I also wanted to say thank you for using terminology like pregnant persons. ❤️ 5/5 stars, and this is - I believe - the first time I’ve ever rated a podcast!!! Sharing it with all my friends. :)

    Dangerous Narrative
I’m appalled that this podcast chose to sensationalize a single negative instance of alternative maternal care, painting it as the norm and fear-mongering listeners into believing that hospitals are the only safe option for birth. This kind of biased storytelling strips people of informed choice and perpetuates harmful narratives. I expected better, and I’m unsubscribing.

    Thankful for Tiffany
I’ve been listening to this podcast for years. This newest season is really hitting me. I’m so thankful that Tiffany keeps digging into every season and brings the truth to light. Being a mom myself going the natural route wasn’t something I was interested in but many are. Giving people these stories, and also BOTH sides, is something that can and will save lives. My heart goes out to all of these brave women ❤️ I couldn’t imagine being in these situations and that it had to take all of these scary situations for it to all come out. Thank you Tiffany for giving these stories life and continuing to do the uncomfortable to help people and hold people accountable.

    Bummer
I just finished season 23, and went to write a review. I had started writing a review after season 14 (Jake Gravbrot season) about how invested I was in the season and how much I loved the podcast but I never submitted the review. After the last few seasons (21-23), I am bummed that my opinion has changed so much. Season 22 had me feeling so conflicted. I wanted so badly to really despise Megan Stoner for all she had done to so many. I found myself really disliking the people who just wanted to “trap” her and humiliate her. She deserved what she got from a legal standpoint, but not the treatment she got from the show. Season 23 was sooo sad, but absolutely could have been wrapped up in 6-7 episodes, and it still isn’t wrapped up. I hold out hope that in the near future the podcast will get back to its original format and tell the kind of stories that made it so popular and must-listen every week. And yes, PLEASE ditch the opening song and the extra lengthy intros to each episode 🙏🏻

Eye Opening and Life Changing ❤️
I’ve listened to every season of Something Was Wrong, and it has truly gotten me through some of my longest nights and toughest shifts. Beyond being engaging and well-produced, this podcast has expanded my perspective in ways I didn’t expect. It’s given me a deeper sense of empathy and a greater awareness of the traumas, systems, and wrongdoings that affect people’s lives. As someone who works closely with people navigating complex social and personal challenges, this podcast has helped me approach those experiences with more understanding and care. I’m incredibly grateful for the stories shared and the thoughtful way they’re told—it’s not just a podcast, but a resource for growth and reflection. P.S Philadelphia please 🥲

    The BEST podcast
I will not accept any Tiffany or SWW slander !! Every single season jerks tears from my eyes and makes me feel absorbed in the lives and stories of others. It is so authentic and genuine in its emotion and storytelling. Tiffany don’t listen to the noise about text messages or intro length. Your work is important. Always has been always will be. Ps. Miami!!!

    Over it…
It’s getting very old waiting for episodes to be released. I have Wondery and consistently on the past Thursday’s I look to see if there Will there be an episode like they say. Of course there isn’t one today. I’m close to unfollowing it’s just a disappointment half the time.
  • Lauren330
    Structure?
You need to have structure in your podcasts. There’s no back and forth, hardly asking questions, just people talking. Megan’s story just dove right in; no context whatsoever. And why isn’t there a description of the episode? Bizarre. Season 20 was so so drawn out. We didn’t need to hear every single text message. It was painful that 6 episodes in, we’re still not to the point of where they found out who Brody really was and the confrontation. Painful and cringe.

    Pregnant persons explained
The reason Tiffany uses ‘pregnant persons’ is because not everyone who can have a baby identifies as a woman. Some people were born intersex, some people are non-binary, some people have gone through hormone therapy and identify as men but still are able to have babies. Because they still have uteruses. It doesn’t hurt anyone to use inclusive language. If you identify as a woman, great! If not, let’s include others instead of excluding them in the name of not being ‘woke’. Thank you, Tiffany, for your inclusive language.

    Dumbest ads and intro.

    Its not pregnant people
Stop saying pregnant people. Only women can get pregnant. What horrible misogyny when you are trying to help WOMEN.

Love this podcast! Love hearing people’s experiences firsthand.

    Disappointing
I believe in warning people about abusers stop protecting these people’s identities, say their names and warn other people about the individuals on this podcast

Love the show - intro is horrible
Girl it’s 23 seasons in, we are over this intro. Please listen to us. For the love of God! You need to take the feedback and get rid of this intro. It’s ridiculous. (Edit* Another season and still the longest intro of a podcast. 🤦‍♀️) Season 22 was the worst to listen to, I don’t know if it was the organization of the story or the multitude of people that rallied against her. This episode was aimed at “outing” Megan Stoner. She’s a bad person but there is an obsession with her. That made her into another victim, she needs mental health help, this podcast feels like something that could be a breaking point for someone who is struggling mentally. I couldn’t wait for it to be over. *edit: Chloe should not consider herself a journalist. She said she’s in school for it? Yikes. “Doesn’t that feel good” I don’t know what she expected Megans reaction to be. Megan told her what she wanted to hear and she just kept jabbing it in. Definitely not looking to hear more of Chloe’s perspective about things. She’s needs a lot of polish, you can tell she’s had a very privileged comfortable life.

    Just keep it real
I’m going 3 ⭐️ because so many of the people sharing throughout each season is vital for others to hear. ..to not feel alone, misunderstood, unsupported, etc. & I listen intently & emphatically. BUT as a healthcare agent for multiple providers & a mother of 2 that relied on Medicaid in pregnancy & birth, when do we stop claiming what happens in the world is about color & be honest about it being about money? I now work w/many medicare & medicaid recipients & they all have the same issues. Their income is what determines their across-the-board options-not their color, insurance company, hospital, pcp, etc. That said, my granddaughter came into the world early & scarily because of a careless physician & my 8mo old grandson died because of a missed early-detection diagnosis of biliary atresia by the pediatrician. (1 dr is a black female, one dr a white male-for context.) Me & my family are white. My grandson’s care-treatment, or rather, lack thereof, was fnegligence, period. We ALL have stories. The incessant race-baiting when it doesn’t actually apply is why there’s such continuous division. It is gut-wrenching to hear the tragedies these women experienced, & I cannot imagine the fear, trauma, loss, ptsd, EVERYthing. It’s unacceptable & disgusting..& that’s the story. Just tell it.

    Am I supposed to care?..
Why did I have to listen through her birth story? I don’t get it. What’s the point of this. Am I supposed to feel bad? You’re babies fine and you chose natural and took that risk?
  • leeenieeeeeew
    Heartbreaking
What happened to these mothers is heartbreaking. I can’t believe Jennifer Crawford still has a business and is delivering babies. Poor baby Malik.

You are so so so NOT Southern
This podcast has gone so downhill I don’t know where to start. But first of all, Tiffany is so fake it’s painful. From what I understand she grew up in California but all of a sudden she’s saying y’all? And it’s comical how she can be nice to people when she wants something from them(ie the police). The seasons are painfully boring and redundant and Tiffany has crossed a line trying to portray a story to actually being a bully herself. Its sick. In regards to season 23 specifically, the issues discussed really apply to all of healthcare in America. Do your research, be your own advocate, trust nobody. This episode really isn’t a “something was wrong” topic.

    Pregnant persons
    Why?
  • Stop_taking_all_thenicknames
DNPs should not be referred to as “Dr.”
I unsubscribed when this podcast decided to bring a midwife on and refer to her as Dr. what a slap in the face to obstetricians who dedicate 12+ grueling years towards gaining that title
  • KayBerth8
I AM A WOMAN- NOT A PREGNANT PERSON
Your terminology is insulting to every WOMAN who gave birth to a child. Men cannot have babies not matter they look like
  • mujer1978
    Ugh
ITS PREGNANT WOMEN!! No man can get pregnant. Have a nice day g guy STOP SAYING PERSONS

    Contact a good lawyer
Season 23 is absolutely maddening. Call a lawyer now. Don’t worry about that contract. Start with Susman Godfrey. Godspeed.

    Great listen
I can relate to season 23 so much and I have enjoyed listening to it! I was a patient of this facility and As triggering as some of it may be, I Can’t wait for the rest of season!
  • Heatherlynn1214
    Wow!
I feel for this poor mother. It’s crazy because I had the exact same complications with my baby, but I went the standard OBGYN route. I hope all is well with her LO and that their health was not impacted too much. This organization she was working with is appalling. How could they? Hiding these issues so they could continue making money off this poor new mother. I don’t know how these people sleep at night. Disgusting.

From 5 to 1 season 23 is a BIG MISS
Nah nah. Look I’ve been following and pushing this podcast since before it was cool. From season 1 through the other GREAT seasons and not so wonderful but still solid seasons. However, you e lost me for this Season 23. This is no good. Not on point. Totally different kinda pod.

I’m on the edge of my seat here!!
I mean- WOW! This new season is amazing! I don’t know if it’s because I am a mother that’s been through this process and can therefore empathize so much with Kristen ( hope I got her name right!) or if it’s the way she is relaying her experience but this season is just very compelling. I’m a huge fan of the podcast. All seasons have been great but this one especially has really struck a cord in me and I am just terrified for any other victims of this awful place as this is just episode 2. These women and couples were just taken advantage of fully by this place and in such an egregious way. To do this to expecting mothers is just the worst thing i can think of to do. I really feel for them.Fantastic job highlighting this major issue in America that is affecting so many women!! It has lit a fire in me and I’m sure many of your listeners.
  • ghost-museum
    meh
First few seasons are okay, some interesting subjects, but has in the last few become waaay too self-congratulatory and, for lack of a better term, circle-jerky. Seems to just exist for the host and pals to pat each other on the back about how brave and compassionate they all are. Lot of casually abused therapy speak.
  • Connieco
    Wow!
God BLESS this couple in season 23. I am legit RELIEVED to hear that not only did the baby make it and is thriving, but these two young people kept their marriage intact. What an amazing story!
  • poetandknowit
    Obsessed!
It’s such a good show. I found it just last week and I’m already on season 8!
  • kajewosnca
    Season 23
I used to love this show. But the intro song is horrendous and way too long. I constantly get notifications of new episodes, but the new episodes are WCN, and I don’t listen to that show.. if I wanted to, I’d subscribe. Why are they flooded on SWW? Listening to the first episode of season 23 has me annoyed. I am ALL for outing bad practice when it comes to pregnancy and labor, but you want a natural birth but talk trash on garlic cloves to treat BV, when garlic is a NATURAL antibiotic!!!! They shouldn’t have fought you so hard on just wanting traditional antibiotics, but I can’t say I’m surprised they wanted you to treat with a natural antibiotic first. Rant over.
  • Ebams
    Blind wokeness
It’s absurd calling pregnant women “pregnant people” and going on to criticize the many professionals who help women have their babies.
