Volhalla24Love the pod but…….,,Love the pod, great energy, great interviews but won’t be listening again till it goes back to normal…….. massive tragedy, but I don’t need to keep hearing about it all day everyday.

reneeoleniaczLauren Khalil interrupts more than she contributesI’ve always listened and thought Tommy & Sean did a good job. By adding Lauren into the mix, I’ve begun to not be able to stand listening due to her constantly interrupting them, as well as guests.
-
rach_m_13Audio DelayAs much as I love everyone and what y’all provide to CrossFit news, the audio delay and consequent talking on top of each other since having added Lauren has made listening really hard and frustrating. Maybe there are too many people on at a time or new equipment is needed to make a smoother production.

LizShieldsLong time favorite!Been a listener since day 1 and still love this podcast! Felt like a piece of home listening to this every week when I was stationed overseas. Timely CrossFit news, hilarious segments, and quality guests. Thanks for doing what you do guys!

ceejayogaProfessionalismI’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning and hardly ever miss an episode. I love the addition of Lauren Khalil to the show— she is a skilled broadcaster and interviewer who adds a great, fresh perspective. Sean is also a consummate professional with his legit sports media background. Tommy has encyclopedic knowledge of the sport but I wonder if he can work on some media-specific skills? In every episode there are long pauses where Tommy is looking something up, or saying things like “uhhhhh I’m trying to think,” or talking about his own athletic abilities in a way that doesn’t relate at all to the topic (!), or telling a tangential story after Sean has clearly given a cue that it’s time to move to a different topic. Smooth transitions, taking cues, knowing when to stop talking, staying on topic— these all seem like media 101 and it seems like Tommy has gotten, if anything, less focused in these areas over the years. Also, speaking of professionalism— can y’all please pronounce athletes’ names correctly? At least Sean will say something like “I’m not sure if I’m pronouncing this right,” but Tommy confidently mispronounces athletes’ names in almost every episode (Rebecca Fuselier, Manon Angonese, Fabian Beneito are recent cringey examples). If you’re going to mention these people on the show, you might at the very least be able to reach out over social media or something and ask them how to pronounce their names. In every other sport, media people have found a way to correctly pronounce peoples names without it being a big deal. This seems doable and like a baseline level of professionalism and respect for the athletes you are showcasing. All in all I do love the show and hope these small areas can get tweaked as you move toward a more professional product. Thank you for all that you do.

lino1711Ditch Hit and CatchI love Tommy and Sean, but I gotta give them a low rating bc their Hit and Catch segment is absolutely BRUTAL. Not sure how else to get through to them, besides a low rating. Otherwise, would be 5 stars

HeatherCouz1193TitansTommy and Sean have just been KILLING IT with the content. If you want to feel good, be informed, and generally geek out about CrossFit (with some awesome sci-fi references sprinkled in) then THIS is the podcast for you. Subscribe immediately!

Ian Go Dawgs!DecentI like both Tommy and Sean, they are knowledgeable and seem to really care for the sport. My only critique is that it’s somewhat dry and not overly entertaining. Has a corporate feel to it. Not trying to be harsh, but just have a hard time consistently listening due to that fact. Just my take, and it is worth listening to when they have a good topic to cover.

d dre 20Great show- just wanted to propose a show segmentAt what point should CrossFit introduce a CrossFit hall of fame?
-
Jess510510Painful to listen toI love all things CrossFit but had to delete this show after subscribing for a few months. They never say anything honest, surprising, or critical about CrossFit. It’s all a bore. Sometimes they have interesting guests - but never toss an interesting question their way. And the ads are interminable.

aero109Roza thinks he’s above CrossfitRoza decides whatever he wants to do and doesn’t think he owes anybody an explanation. Roza = Anthos! Be a good minion and do what you’re told.

jlschmodMore opinions!I miss the early days of the pod where Tommy and Sean really said what they felt, these days it feels as the pod and following grows they’re being so careful not to offend anyone, especially the high level athletes. Tell us what you really think!!! And I could do without the podium pick episodes,an interview with the guest would be more valuable.
-
mshayes91Perfect for all things CrossFit!A favorite podcast of mine for the last few years. Sean and Tommy provide excellent and in depth coverage of the sport of CrossFit and they make it fun! Great interviews, thorough reporting, and consistent posts. Plus an awesome Patreon experience!

Jmr_2413Good show but....Thanks for all you do the show is great but I think it could be better! I get that you want to do all of this other fun stuff like podium picks, patron of the week, crazy things we saw, etc. but sometimes people just want to clearly and concisely hear the news
-
laura_onuBest Crossfit podcast!!Sean and Tommy are so much fun!! I am Brazilian and moved to the US 2 years ago and found this podcast and recommend it to all my crossfit friends back home! They are knowledgeable and maintain crossfit fans very well informed! Thank you!! 🇧🇷🇧🇷
-
ceiderannVery informative but...I do enjoy listening for updates and review of all things going on in CrossFit but sometimes there are some head scratching moments. Sometimes they’ve completely on their thoughts from one podcast to the next without acknowledging why changed. Also, very long ads although it’s nice that they’re at the beginning and it’s easy to skip through.

prtyolvNot enough fitness?!?Love both of these guys as commentators; however, the podcast needs work. First, the ads are ridiculous. So many ads!! Is there any way you guys can cut back a bit or at least make them shorter?? Second, aside from talking about how amazing athletes are, you guys rarely talk about fitness and give the, highly driven crowd that listens to this podcast, any useful takeaways. Third, can we niche down to fitness only? You guys are always talking about random stuff like favorite marvel characters, dad jokes, and crazy things you saw. All that stuff has no utility for the fitness community you are trying to serve. A great role model to follow is “training think tanks” Corpus Animas podcast. By far, the most useful fitness podcast out there.

609398zZ!!Trying to like this podcastLove Sean, the true voice of Crossfit, but yet another entertainment entity that caters to or is deathly afraid of the mob cancel culture. Every subject is guarded and forcibly peppered with the correct words and phrases of the day. Guess I’ll go back to listening to Joe Rogan.

Nutrageous4LifePodium picks ALL DAYFirst off, every episode has great content and discussion! But, I live for the podium picks, easily my favorite episodes. The last one with Chyna was awesome, I fist pumped when she said Gaston because it was such a great pick! Adding the athletes as guest pickers has added a lot to the segment. I approve, and look forward to the next one.

koc859Nice CrossFit showInformative and entertaining to the CrossFit ear. But easy with all the pop Culture references Tommy

Javin1093Too many adsLove the show but I hate listening when I’m working out and there are 5 mins of ads between every topic. I know you guys need the ad revenue, but maybe do all ads at the beginning.

Jessica PearYESSSSSS!! Why didn’t I know about this!!I have never reviewed a podcast before. But I have been a follower of Crossfit for five years. I saw the games and hearing you both commentate was a huge part of my love of the sport. And my heart broke during the layoffs, and with all the changes I stopped following the Crossfit/ updates and media for a while. But I did still watch the buttery Bros on YouTube. And their last episode showed them with you guys while you were filming your podcast and I was like what the heck!! I’m so happy I found this. I’m so happy you guys are doing this. It is so calming and heartwarming to listen to you both talk to athletes and everyone in the community. Thank you for doing what you’re doing. You have another listener out there who’s day you make better!!

Mo DingoThe ‘YO: MTV Raps’ of CrossFitThe de facto place to get the latest on things happening in the CrossFit world. During the Dark Times, they provided insight and interviews that helped paint a picture that the everyday athlete can understand and appreciate. Love the non fitness related Podium Picks episodes!
-
GordiMUNJust for the sportSean and Tommy give us the best media outlet for CrossFit as a Sport, and are great with that. They leave a side some aspects of CrossFit as a methodology, a life style or the average Joe life of CrossFit, not because they want to neglect it or downsize it but because it’s not the focus of the podcast. Personally sometimes they put the sport over the true goal of CrossFit, that is the affiliates and their job. But that’s a personal thing.

Marty1973!!!!!Why do you hate Sweden??!!No ABBA??!! Dancing Queen is the Best Most Embarrassing song ever....

k-flash hereBest CF Podcast AroundI’m a big fan of the show Sean and Tommy have created and have listened to every episode put out since day one. I love waking up on a Thursday morning and having the podcast to listen to as I get ready for work. Having both previously worked for HQ, they offer a unique perspective regarding the sport of fitness and offer a bit of a behind the scenes look at CrossFit. They’re always going to get 5 stars from me.

cod vetDave spoke his mindAnytime an athlete, entertainer or someone in a spotlighted position is interviewed and holds feelings back, gives PC answers or just tries to deliver the “right” answer people complain. Dave didn’t do that. Wasn’t PC. And now people don’t like this either? Smh I’m glad he spoke his mind. Regardless of whether some agree or disagree with what he said.
-
Ka2201Great Show, Disappointing Discourse from Dave CastroZero accountability and victim mentality. I’m glad Castro is no longer the man in charge. Every time he speaks he confirms how status quo he is. Maybe he can move on too.

Will 8883Want to love thisI really wanted to love this podcast and did initially. It has evolved, in my opinion, into two bitter ex-employees taking shots and struggling to be objective.
-
Swenson12Cereal PicksCLASSIC episode!!! In my Top 5 favorites for your podcast gentlemen! A Cheerios suggestion - add honey to regular Cheerios (trust me - WAY better than just the Honey Nut version). And if you wanna knock it out of this world, add sliced bananas with the honey! Oh, and no Fruity Pebbles mention? Lol! Thanks!

skgervaisWorking out with affiliate from homeListening to your latest episode and your comments about people working out remotely with their affiliates moving forward. Not saying this is a solution for everyone, but it is possible. I moved 4 years ago from New York to Wyoming. I had been with my affiliate for 6 years and I could not think about leaving them. So, we installed a camera at the gym and I have a gym in my house. For the last 4 years I have been calling into my same 9:30 class (now 7:30 for me). It has worked out great and we get to see each other and countries to push watch other. It is very possible!! I laugh with my crew now they they are all in the screen with me!

Dee_SassFills the missing space in the CrossFit world!I love Tommy and Sean! They are so kind and bring so much value to the CrossFit community. I love listening to this podcast and getting caught up on everything going on in the CrossFit world. This podcast really fills the missing space in our community and is just fun to listen to! Keep up the great work guys!

Xtreme2908Informative and hilarious“Friend of the Show”. Great pod with plenty of info on CF games and off season and not afraid to put CrossFit HQ on notice for some of the changes that is going to hurt the sport. Loved the Games Road Trip#1 and Dan Bailey episode. Was laughing the whole time. Keep it up guys!!!!
-
t.s.morgan84Best CrossFit PodcastThe best podcast in the community. Tommy and Sean have the experience and access to give the most accurate and up to date information, and provide an entertaining and professional show.
-
aquafinamangoMy professional analysisThe pros: Access to great guests and have some insider knowledge of CrossFit shenanigans. The cons: I wish you guys would loosen up a bit! Sometimes episodes can feel very ridged and structured. Your approach to the Games can feel a bit doomsday at times and you often get stuck in a cycle of repeating yourselves. My extremely professional free advice: Don’t be afraid of offending people! Gives us that raw emotion more often.
-
Jeremy.DubayBest in the BusinessSean and Tommy are one of best parts of the new CrossFit Media Market! Friend of the show!:)

p-drixFavorite CF Games EventsHey Fellas, You are crushing it with this pod. As a fellow a CF Games geek, I eat up whatever info you are sharing on each episode. With that said, your “favorite Games events of all time” discussion has been my favorite episode thus far. Thanks for being awesome. Keep Rocking It! Honestly speaking, the two of you saved the Games for me. I ate up all your content each day, then waited for the reap pod. You made my weekend! So grateful for all that the two of you do for this community. Go Rams! Pete from Vermont

Barkley2937One of the best CrossFit podcastsIt’s great to be able to listen to Sean and Tommy. Great coverage of the games! My favorite podcasts are hearing about the scenes behind the games in the past. I was driving around town and laughing at the Dan Bailey episode. Keep up the fabulous podcast!
-
Lauren BalaAll stars!I tuned in every day to get a games recap! It put so much perspective in the games and was so well done! Looking forward to you guys continuing to cover the sport in the off season as well!
-
Angelam229Will Sean Woodland Read Me a Bed Time StoryTalking Elite Fitness is great content. I’m so glad you guys keep doing why you’re doing. Sean Woodland is the Morgan Freeman of Crossfit announcing. Pleas read me a bed time story, preferably Tommy’s Dispatch’s from Mars book. That boon has to happen. You guys are the coolest!
-
michellelikestorunYasssLove these guys!
-
BenKrush11#1 CrossFit Pod in the gameFeeling left out of all the latest buzz in the Crossfit Professional community then you need to check out Tommy and Sean. These guys have great guests, give honest takes, and are super connected to the Games Athletes. Love when the Buttery Bros or Dan Bailey shows up. If you were into the official CrossFit podcast before it’s unfortunate demise then this will fill the void...AND SOME! Keep it up boys!
-
PicklejennyThe Only Reason I Have Any Idea What’s Up With Crossfit!!Fantastic show!
