    You are family
Ive followed Zac/Ari since their early motorcyclist magazine days immediately jump on anything they have a hand in. I recently watched the latest CTXP episode honoring Aris father and wow..there are no words. I found myself sitting next to my two sons tearing up as the credits rolled. Amazing productions like this are why I joyfully consume everything your team puts out from daily rider, to common tread to this podcast. I gladly buy all of my motorcycle gear and items from excluding revzilla and support you any way I can because I feel like I’ve come to know you , even though we may never meet. You’re not just wonderful writers and journalists and mechanics and racers and podcasters but also wonderful people. Youre faithful fathers and loving sons. You’re tribute episode honoring Aris dad was beautiful and to me you’ll always feel like family…my motorcycle family. Thank you thank you thank you.-Alex K

    Free T Shirt!?
As an owner of a Ryvid Anthem I found it interesting to hear all your insight into… who am i kidding, I’m leaving this review in hopes of getting a free T shirt. Has someone used this technique before?

    Ari Head
Been watching/listening to Gear Reviews, Podcasts, and The Shop Manual for years. It’s been so cool watching the team grow and evolve through life. Always loved Ari Henning and the expertise he provides! Truly unbelievable how vulnerable and personal he got with the last CTXP Episode. Always something to learn and cannot thank the entire team enough for educating and sharing this two wheeled (sometimes 3) passion.

This show is a National Treasure in the a Motorcycle World
I love love love this podcast so much… As a new writer who started riding in his 50s I did hours and hours of practice with high side, low side playing in the helmet and you guys feel like family! I love the camaraderie, the silly jokes mixed in with spectacular technical information in a easy to listen format for those of us that fell in love with motorcycles as little kids and that love stayed thru the decades…. All the members of your team along with the host help nourish that need inside that all of us that love bikes have to have intelligent, thoughtful, engaging, and funny conversations with a small group of like-minded Friends!!! on a sidenote just watched the CTXP episode where are you guys rebuild Ari’s dad’s bike… It was so riveting and emotionally engaging and is a spectacular piece of filmmaking and is definitely award consideration worthy… Keep up the great work!!!

First off I titled this review in hopes it would catch Zach and Spurg’s attention, but in all seriousness thank you for putting out such great content that’s not only informative, but both inspiring and entertaining! I’m not just talking about Highside/Lowside, but all of the content you guys put out at Revzilla! I recently watched CTXP episode “1300 Miles of Mayhem” truly one of the best motorcycle films to come out in a long time!! Getting to watch Ari and Zach rebuild Ari’s father’s bike with Spurg at the helm of the bus was just so cool to watch and reminded me of why I love riding motorcycles so much! Nothing better than hanging out with your buddies, family and just getting to burn some fuel on two wheels. Your content at Revzilla absolutely without doubt helps make these New England winters better! You guys rock!! Thanks again and ride safe!!!

    A new daily routine
I ride a Tracer 9GT as my daily vehicle here in Denver Colorado. I was was at the local Revzilla shop when I saw a replica Dumb and Dumber Scooter, and started asking questions, this ultimately lead me to watching Every episode of Daily Rider, CTXP, and finally Highside/Lowside. Thank you Zach and Surgeon for putting on this amazing show, I listen to it on my commute everyday I can and have turned several in my group onto this show. We discuss the episodes on our group rides. P.S. Both CTXP episodes about racing your dad’s bikes was incredible. P.P.S Zach, every time I pull into work I think, can you back it in?

Ryan from F9 did not write this
“You either die a squid or live long enough to see yourself become a villain.” - Someones uncle in a hi-viz jacket. I turn the key and count my blessings. Seat belt check, phone check, wallet check, work badge check. I adjust the rear view mirror and briefly make eye contact with the cager in the mirror.. The transmission shifts into drive willingly. The cry of the serpentine belt accompanies me as I set off into the sunrise. My life flashes before my eyes as my doors get blown off by a blurry silhouette of a clapped out R6 trying to outrun his written attendance warning, a six thousand pound overland 4Runner with a rooftop tent in tow. I’m left blinded by a Ram 2500 high beams full blast 2 feet behind - 4 feet taller than me - 3 lanes to the right going 75 down the interstate. I exit the freeway and make my way over the hill ~ 10 miles into my commute I’m greeted by a monumental amount of brake lights, like swinging the doors open to a Jurassic cathedral. It’s one of earths most special moments. As I disconnectedly stare into the rear lights of a Nissan Altima for the next fifteen minutes. Familiar words and terminology enlighten me back to reality. Harley Pan-America? KTM, Motul? Apex’s, spring rates, sag? Confused and misunderstood and happy.. I hesitantly press pause and turn the car off. Anyways two weeks and a dozen podcast episodes later just after a ten hour shift I walked into a dealer and rode out on a new to me 1200gs. Thanks for the inspiration fellas. Also, please get Jamie aka Motogeo on the cast 🤟

Only Podcast I Can Listen To With My Wife
I love motorcycles! My wife will ride on my motorcycle with me, but has no interest in riding her own. She will however listen to Highside/Lowside with me! We both enjoy the friendly banter and she loves to repeat something she heard on the show at wildly inappropriate times, like asking how my “chicken lips are doing” after listening to the motorcycle terminology episode. Even though she doesn’t ride herself, it is really great to be able to share a little bit of the motorcycle culture with her thanks to Highside/Lowside.

    Spreading the 2 wheeled love
Having returned to motorcycling after a 10 year hiatus, it’s great to hear fresh perspectives. Some of the rhetoric is the same, but it’s nice to see what the next generation has evolved into. Love Zach and spurge. And always look forward to the next episode. Keep up the good work.

    What a Relief
When Spurg said at the end of Season 9 that they’re already making accommodations for Season 10, I slept well for the first time in months. Also, the SPURGEON DUNBAR compilation at the end of Season 9 is worth the price of admission, especially as I spat my Motul cocktail all over my keyboard. Thanks for all you do, guys and gals!

    Fudds
Here for new(old) bikes to Google and to win a shirt… and I’m all out of bikes to Google. Anyway, I have been watching Zack and Ari since the O2W days and now I’m here even though I don’t ride. Just love the podcast and adventures. I do have a question though. While listening to Season 9, Episode 1, I laughed as Spurg started making jokes about mods and guys saying you need to convert to shaft drive or put cams in your bike. In my industry, we call the old timers or anyone with an old mindset about gear or items, fudds. Guys that still perpetuate myths or are slow to change with new tech and do goofy mods that don’t necessarily make anything better or fix any issues. Does the motorcycling community have such a term? Thank you for all the laughs and great content.

    Zach and Spurg made me
I used to think I had self-control. I used to believe I was a man of reason, a man who could listen to a podcast without making impulsive life decisions. Then I found Highside/Lowside. One minute, I’m just casually listening to Spurgeon and Zack ramble about motorcycles. The next minute, I’m standing in my garage staring at a freshly purchased Honda VFR800, wondering how I got here. Did I need a VFR800? No. Did I even want a VFR800 before this podcast? Debatable. Do I now believe it is the single greatest piece of machinery ever crafted by human hands? Absolutely. I blacked out, opened Facebook Marketplace, and made the best/worst financial decision of my life. My wife calls it “a problem.” I call it “a professional recommendation.” Five stars. Would buy another motorcycle I don’t need again.

    Motorcycle Education
For a couple years now I’ve listened to Highside/Lowside while I ride the bike or when I take a walk. Love all the banter and I sometimes learn a few things. It’s why I buy my helmets, tires and such from Revzilla

Go fund me: Spurgeon Dunbar Tuition Fund
Spurgeon Dunbar is a simple man with humble beginnings and simple tastes. British bikes or orange bikes; either way that’s all he needs to be happy. He’s truly the common man. And that’s why we must raise tuition for him to go to law school. We all want him to fulfill his life-long dream of legalizing lane splitting and filtering legalized for all of us in the great state of PA. Won’t you please help this man? T-shirts are also nice. If we can’t send him to law school, there are always t-shirts. ;-) P.S. Hi Zack! I didn’t mean to leave you out, I just didn’t want to write a satire about you. :-D P.P.S. Seriously I’d be interested in helping get lane splitting legalized in PA if there’s anything g I can do on the south western side.

    New favorite podcast
I’m new to motorcycle podcasts. I tried listening to another show and couldn’t get through 2 episodes.. then I came across highside/lowside. I initially started with episodes that intrigued me. Which then turned into listening to every episode. It’s all I listen to now. Still working through the seasons, but I can’t get enough. Thank you guys for making my long drives at work 100x more enjoyable.

Great podcast for the new and experienced rider
Love to listen to Zack and Spurgeon go into detail of the motorcycle world. I'm 48 and have been riding off and on road for 44 years. Many times my biggest disappointment is I can't sit and discuss some of the stories and information with the hosts. This show is great for any rider no matter their skill level. By the way, I got the Honda VFR 800 engine sound for the last episode. I wanted one of the VFR1200F when they came out. The sound was very familiar. Anyway, great show, keep it up.

    The best!!
I’ve tried other motorcycling podcasts, and nothing compares to the immaculate entertainment that is, Highside Lowside! Please keep making episodes! Also, I greatly enjoy all of the other content Revzilla puts out. I check YouTube daily for new content! -Jeremy Yoder

    One More Episode?!!!!
As a long time listener, I’m always bummed when the last episode of the season comes around. I have four hobbies. Motorcycles, football, music, and videography. Sadly both the podcast and football are nearing the end of the season. I’m not sure what to do with my life. It’s too cold to ride. Perhaps I’ll sit in my room and play the Highside/Lowside theme song on guitar every other Friday to bring me solace until a new season arrives. A free T-shirt might also numb the pain.

    Make lane splitting/filtering legal
Thanks for another great informative and balanced episode. Always great to see you two guys have a fun time, bring in interesting guests and share your passion with us fellow riders. I would love an episode about pro-motorcycle efforts that are happening right now and raise awareness for individuals to get engaged in some which they support. CT resident here, grateful for the shoutout to my fellow CT rider pushing the lane splitting/filtering legalization. Keep it up! (Yes, I’m leaving the review on Apple Podcast for the shirt… usually follow you guys on YT)

    Highside Lowside all the way
Hear me, dear revelers of the podcast persuasion, I have for you a show that will rise to the occasion. Its funny, it's witty, it's totally grand— this motorcycle talk show is so in demand. Zack and Spurg are the hosts, they're totally outstanding with quick wit and wisdom, always abounding. Some days, as a guest, even Ari Henning comes around. We knew him from "Motorcylist" and he's still at it now. Coming in at an offer that you wouldn't believe, for the low-low price of totally free! Whether it's about lane splitting, AI, or MotoGP, or hearing about all the bikers in Zack's family tree (go Zack's dad!) The hot-takes are sizzling, the insights— nifty, you might even find yourself wanting a Versys 650. So if you need a new podcast to brighten your day, its got to be Highside Lowside all the way.

An absolute must listen on road trips!
My favorite activity is to save all of the new Highside Lowside episodes for my long distance motorcycle trips. Nothing is more enjoyable than heading out on the open road while listening to Zack and Spurgeon for hours on end. I’ve done a half dozen Iron Butt rides and a trip without Highside Lowside just doesn’t feel right.

    Spurg Deserves Cookies
I can’t remember what season/episode it was that Zack got homemade cookies, BUT Mr. Dunbar NEVER did get a cookie from Zack like he promised!

    On Any Sunday
cohost chemistry is akin to Abbott-n-Costello, always informative simultaneously entertaining. Revzilla’s best salesman, only Zack-n-Spurge can make a two + hour commercial palatable 110% !! Note to Spurge, please never say “heart of hearts” ever again🤘🏻🤣

Great Pod For the Moto Enthusiast
I’ve finally worked my way through every Highside Lowside episode and it’s been an enlightening, albeit sometimes drawn out, experience. Zach and Spurge are great to listen to and I especially enjoy when they have guests on to discuss the different topics. I recently sold my first street bike, a Honda CB300r, and bought a 2015 Versys 650. I would be lying if I said this podcast didn’t have anything to do with that decision. Thanks for giving me something to listen to that feeds the moto-addiction when I’m mowing the yard or even out in a ride. Appreciate you guys! PS I love the recent father discussions. As a father of two I have a lot of the same thoughts run through my head about whether I should be riding and what kind of example I want to set for my kids. Keep the episodes coming!

So much of my motorcycle knowledge and trivia has come from our entertaining hosts. I’ve been a listener for years and consider this show a ‘must listen’ for any budding or seasoned rider.

    Best Cycling Podcast Out There!!
I did it! I finally finished ALL Highside/Lowside episodes… and I did it Benjamin Button style by listening to them in reverse order. Great seeing Spurgeon go from Papa to Married to Engaged to Dating. And seeing Zack’s bromance with Ari, to his child being born and the wildest days pre-Zack when the only rule was to talk over each other. 🥂 to Producer Chase and crew. This podcast is great for anyone thinking about riding, just getting into riding, and experienced riders!!

It’s OK to say the word Christmas
Gentlemen, no need to tiptoe and pussyfoot around. It’s Christmas season. We give Christmas gifts you live in a Christian nation. It’s one of the world’s great religions go ahead and say the word: Christmas. I promise there will not be an uprising against you. And if there is, I’ll talk to them.

    Best Motorcycling Podcast!
HSLS is honestly one of the best podcasts out there for motorcycle enthusiasts. I appreciate the “family friendliness” with so much smut being made nowadays. You guys are great entertainers and I like hearing about all of your adventures, mishaps, and lessons learned along the way. It’s just fun listening to motorcycle talk! That being said… season 9 has been kind of a dud. The highlight for me was the MotoGp episode, but generally the others have lacked your guys previous luster. The modifications and lingo pods offered very little in excitement, humor or attention grabbing substance (think NC750). But as a father of 4, I can understand your exhaustion and still needing to get the job done. Here’s to hoping that the rest of season 9 finishes strong, like crowing Jorge Martin champion on a satellite Ducati kinda strong!

I listen to you guys when doing yard work before going for my weekend rides. I love the honesty and experience you bring to the listener. For a new rider like myself i really enjoyed the terminology pod. Some i was familiar with, some i wasnt, but most of all, i got to laugh and hang out with you all. Thank you

Besides Riding - The best way to waste two hours!
Cannot think of a better way to suggest for someone looking to waste two hours of their life! Inspirational, oof hmmm not sure? Intellectual, uhhhh well……. Is it worth it? Absolutely! If you love motorcycles and even if you don’t these guys will hook you and drag you in and before you know it two hours will fly by! You will get a wide range of views and discussions to be entertained by. One of the best ways to enjoy two wheels besides on the road. My wife and I love the podcast. It always makes us smile and gives us something fun to talk about. Or at least make fun of Zack and Spurge. Thanks guys! PS MOTORCYCLES DO NOT NEED TURBOS!

Thank you from a road newbie/dirt veteran
Thank you for the five episodes I’ve listened to and the 100 yet to be heard by this intermediate rider. I’ve been riding dirt bikes most of my 55 year life but bought a 2022 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster in that same year. With two years and only about 2,000 miles in the saddle, you’ve helped me decide to take her on a three or four day adventure from my home state of Arizona into New Mexico. I think I’m ready (ride set-up, luggage, maintenance) but would appreciate any other advice such as distance per day, time of year, etc. I cannot express the joy I have listening to you all and thank you for being so supportive to all levels of riders. I can’t stop listening and hate for the day I’m all caught up! (T-shirt size XL please) haha! Keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down, Steve from Mesa Arizona

    Time-Sensitive Honestly Integral Review/Thoughts
Zack and Spurge go together like peanut butter and jelly, ying and yang, tuna and mayonnaise, and so on and so forth. This show has come a long way from season 1 to be extremely new rider friendly. From the intricacies of motorcycles engines to moto gear, there is something for riders of all skill levels to learn something. If you want to learn more about motorcycles other than the fact that they go vroom, look no further. I hope this review was a good read because my with my recent weight loss, my T-shirt collection is a bit sparse. I could also use a new jacket, if you would be so inclined producer Chase. ;)

    New Rider
As an avid cyclist I recently purchased an electric bike and quickly put over 1000 miles on it. I found that it was too fast for the bike trail and too slow for the road, which has lead me to wanting a motorcycle. At the ripe old age of 55 I plan on buying my first motorcycle. This podcast has answered so many questions this newbie has while keeping him entertained. Thanks so much !!! S. Denny

    Producer Chase rules!
I’m not sure who is in charge of picking the review winners, but I’m putting my chips on producer Chase. The other guys do a fine job, but it is clear that producer Chase is in charge of writing the script word for word, production, and editing. A true one man show! I want to be like producer Chase when I grow up.

Yall have a great show and I wish yall the best. I promise I’m sharing the motorcycle Gospel and evangelizing about this show here in the south. Yall got mouths to feed for Pete’s sake! God Bless yall and have a great rest of the year.

    Great family friendly podcast
Hey guys love the podcast! When my kids came along I had to give up my VFR and riding. I’ve been living vicariously through you ever since. My son has recently started listening with me, and has taken an interest in motorcycles. Maybe there’s hope for my two wheeled future yet!

I am Rowdyskins - How About a Listener Guest?
A listener guest makes all the sense in the world. Who wouldn’t want to hear about the motorcycle trials and tribulations of a fellow “mere mortal”. I’ll go one step further and lessen your task of finding such a listener and just volunteer myself as tribute. I’ve been riding since I was 8, starting on dirt bikes and East German two strokes, and now in my 40s I’m riding ADV, street, dual sport, and building questionable electric motocross conversions in my garage. I live in the frozen tundra of the North (Minnesota doncha know), so I bring the added element of seasonal bike withdrawal disorder. Just think about it. I’ll be drinking whiskey and sitting in the sauna anxiously awaiting your email. Cheers, Rowdy

    Great series discussing Iconic bikes
Enjoy the discussions. Riding for 55 years I know the real deal when I hear it. Keep up the effort. It also helps to know we have ridden the same roads of NorCal and PA. I bought a KTM 790 adv. Hitting’ the Pine Barrens. Northeast roads are great. All of the Appalachian Mountains are great. just back from the fall leaves of Promised Land State Park, Lake wallenpaupack to Jim Thorpe to Lehigh Valley. Other than lane splitting and rainless days I prefer to contend with the weather and ride the Northeast. This is a shout out to the listener’s question. Go home.

    This Podcast Is Amazing
To start with, I would like to say that I am writing this of my own accord and that they have definitely never asked in the podcast for us to leave a review on Apple Podcasts. Now, I have only recently started listening but have listened to many of their episodes already. This podcast is essentially just a few guys talking about motorcycles. Some people (my wife) might say it's dumb that you are just listening to guys talk about riding motorcycles. If you're like me though, you probably talk about motorcycles very frequently and often the other person is trying to break conversation and get away from the obsessed maniac that is across from them. However, every once in a while, you talk to someone who loves motorcycles as much as you and have a long satisfying conversation. That wonderful experience is like the experience of listening to this podcast. These guys get it. It’s nice listening to on a ride but it’s perfect when you’re upset about having too many extra wheels underneath you and want something to make up for that a little. They also do what they call the engine sound guessing game where they play a clip of a motorcycle engine, then they guess what the bike is and that alone is worth the listen to me. Somehow, they even manage not to peddle any products from their store Revzilla.com where you can buy a bunch of amazing products like Motul (which by the way has a slough of products that can help keep your bike clean and on the road,). If you’re listening in for the first time you can’t go wrong with any of the episodes with Ryan F9 from FortNine or Ari Henning as guests.

    Podcast for 2 Wheelers
Great podcast for all things related to riding. Love the wide range of topics in the 2-wheeled world. Everything from reviews, news, and stories. Cast is great and pacing is spot on. So many podcasts take awhile to get into it or is ruined by annoying, frequent ads. Not this one!
