kiethhertzlerProducer Chase rules!I’m not sure who is in charge of picking the review winners, but I’m putting my chips on producer Chase. The other guys do a fine job, but it is clear that producer Chase is in charge of writing the script word for word, production, and editing. A true one man show! I want to be like producer Chase when I grow up.

Neatos reviewSeason 9 episode 4Hi I’m Zack. Zack your only the second Zack I’ve met that spells their name correctly. I am new to riding on the street and new to the podcast. Still in search of my own first bike. The last several episodes have been awesome and I timed it to were I was leaving a review right as yall started talking about leaving a review. Gonna play the lottery today now. Yall have a great show and I wish yall the best. I promise I’m sharing the motorcycle Gospel and evangelizing about this show here in the south. Yall got mouths to feed for Pete’s sake! God Bless yall and have a great rest of the year.

alatar21Great family friendly podcastHey guys love the podcast! When my kids came along I had to give up my VFR and riding. I’ve been living vicariously through you ever since. My son has recently started listening with me, and has taken an interest in motorcycles. Maybe there’s hope for my two wheeled future yet!
-
Livesound777Good funRecently got my first motorcycle an 04 Honda Shadow 750. Been binging the podcast while stuck at work wishing I was out riding.

AIRLESSMILESFresh Podcast & Highly RelatableFirst time listener this week from the Revzilla emails I receive. Great content shared and so far, I enjoyed listening to the SV650 episode and look forward to more like it. Keep up the good work guys and hope that more listeners tune in!

RowdyskinsI am Rowdyskins - How About a Listener Guest?A listener guest makes all the sense in the world. Who wouldn’t want to hear about the motorcycle trials and tribulations of a fellow “mere mortal”. I’ll go one step further and lessen your task of finding such a listener and just volunteer myself as tribute. I’ve been riding since I was 8, starting on dirt bikes and East German two strokes, and now in my 40s I’m riding ADV, street, dual sport, and building questionable electric motocross conversions in my garage. I live in the frozen tundra of the North (Minnesota doncha know), so I bring the added element of seasonal bike withdrawal disorder. Just think about it. I’ll be drinking whiskey and sitting in the sauna anxiously awaiting your email. Cheers, Rowdy

609PrinceGreat series discussing Iconic bikesEnjoy the discussions. Riding for 55 years I know the real deal when I hear it. Keep up the effort. It also helps to know we have ridden the same roads of NorCal and PA. I bought a KTM 790 adv. Hitting’ the Pine Barrens. Northeast roads are great. All of the Appalachian Mountains are great. just back from the fall leaves of Promised Land State Park, Lake wallenpaupack to Jim Thorpe to Lehigh Valley. Other than lane splitting and rainless days I prefer to contend with the weather and ride the Northeast. This is a shout out to the listener’s question. Go home.

Chevrolet racerThis Podcast Is AmazingTo start with, I would like to say that I am writing this of my own accord and that they have definitely never asked in the podcast for us to leave a review on Apple Podcasts. Now, I have only recently started listening but have listened to many of their episodes already. This podcast is essentially just a few guys talking about motorcycles. Some people (my wife) might say it's dumb that you are just listening to guys talk about riding motorcycles. If you're like me though, you probably talk about motorcycles very frequently and often the other person is trying to break conversation and get away from the obsessed maniac that is across from them. However, every once in a while, you talk to someone who loves motorcycles as much as you and have a long satisfying conversation. That wonderful experience is like the experience of listening to this podcast. These guys get it. It’s nice listening to on a ride but it’s perfect when you’re upset about having too many extra wheels underneath you and want something to make up for that a little. They also do what they call the engine sound guessing game where they play a clip of a motorcycle engine, then they guess what the bike is and that alone is worth the listen to me. Somehow, they even manage not to peddle any products from their store Revzilla.com where you can buy a bunch of amazing products like Motul (which by the way has a slough of products that can help keep your bike clean and on the road,). If you’re listening in for the first time you can’t go wrong with any of the episodes with Ryan F9 from FortNine or Ari Henning as guests.

Tankbag1946These guys are greatI have been riding motorcycles for 55 years, and I still learn new things from listening to this podcast. Really enjoy it.

Serious GraphicaPodcast for 2 WheelersGreat podcast for all things related to riding. Love the wide range of topics in the 2-wheeled world. Everything from reviews, news, and stories. Cast is great and pacing is spot on. So many podcasts take awhile to get into it or is ruined by annoying, frequent ads. Not this one!

PerkMotoThe Best Banter about BikesStellar discussions about all aspects of riding. If you are a moto maniac, you will love this podcast. If you want to learn about riding, you will love this podcast. Top notch knowledge, awesome advice, and lots of laughs. Keep up the good work, gents!

CR_BellGreat podcastI love the show, and find the information and discussion invaluable. I’ve been riding for more than 40 years, since I was 12, and I still get something out of each episode. The only issue I have is that the twisting and turning that both Zack and Spurgeon do to avoid saying “Indian” or “Harley-Davidson” to be worthy of a circus contortionist. I find this especially ironic given the amount of parts that Revzilla sells for American cruisers. Props where they’re due, the 100th episode was an exception to that. Overall, an excellent show, and one I hope to continue enjoying for many years.
-
Badger_BikerGreat show!!I listen to all your shows and enjoy the way you lay out your agenda. I am a safety officer for a Harley Owners Group so I especially like to hear about the new technology and safety minded gear in your discussions. Your show and the Daily Rides on YouTube have pushed me to try other bikes. The latest demo I rode was the KTM 890 SMT which I absolutely loved!! Sad to hear how KTM is struggling with its financial situation and moving the production to India, but that seems to be a popular business decision these days. Thanks again for the great show and I look forward to many more episodes. I’d love to hear your thoughts on how KTM will endure this time of transition and see if you predict the outcome.

New Texas PeteOutstanding PodcastThank you for having Peter Egan as a guest. Steinbeck on a Suzuki!

Serial52Great podcast + episode suggestionsThe best motorcycle podcast out there. When I can’t ride, this keeps my passion burning on those off days! Can y’all talk about “premium” component brands and if we really get our money’s worth? Ohlins vs Sachs vs Showa vs WP, etc Brembo vs Nissin vs Tokico, etc Do we get value with SP spec’d bikes? What about “special edition” bikes? I’m looking at you Ducati and Triumph! Thanks gents!

Sabrefreak65I don’t want to imagine a world without Highside/Low side!?Let's be real, folks. Revzilla isn't just a podcast. It's a lifeline. A beacon of hope in this crazy world. I've been listening to Revzilla since before it was cool. Back when the guys were still riding mopeds and dreaming of the day they could afford a real bike. I've watched them grow and evolve, and I've grown and evolved right along with them. Revzilla has taught me everything I know about motorcycles. From how to take a cross country trip on a Bonneville to how to properly pronounce "Akrapovic." But more importantly, it's taught me how to laugh at myself and appreciate the little things in life. I can't imagine my life without Revzilla. It's like trying to imagine a world without pizza or bacon. It's just not possible. So if you're looking for a podcast that will make you laugh, learn, and love motorcycles even more, look no further than Revzilla. It's the best motorcycling podcast out there, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fanboy. It's the truth!

r9t_bertoliBetter on Spotify!DUDES! You did it! This show went from 5 stars to six when you guys added video to the podcasts on Spotify! Now I can just glance at my phone to see what bike you’re talking about instead of the pain of Google searching all the time! Love the podcast, been listening since day 1, sorry this is my first time rating it. I’m that lazy.
-
angrydad79The 100th episode isn’t the 100th.This is my favorite podcast!! Actually it’s the only one I listen to. I even use it to fall asleep to. But I had noticed when you guys got to 100 that a big deal wasn’t made of it. And now episode 102 is episode 100?! Love you guys!! It’s ok you guys can’t count. You’re good at other things!!

thekiwiguyGlobal Appeal is awesome…Orange looks bad on tee shirts and on Motorcycles…. Now that I have your attention Spurg…. As a Kiwi who now lives in the US, I love the GLOBAL appeal of this podcast. I think Spurg and Zack balance each other off really well and their banter is awesome. I’d love to see more guest interviews and maybe even think about doing a few “spin offs” from time to time. Like one for track, one for ADV etc. Keep it up! (p.s. I’m at Youtube @kiwimoto72 and have a few followers you like ya too ;-)

Free hs/ls shirt recipientPretty sure these guys are proof we live in a simulationI was out riding the other day and ended up riding with a dude named Zack who wouldn’t stop doing wheelies on a KTM Super Moto. The needle will move from pretty sure to certain that we live in a simulation when I meet a dude named Spurgeon, Crusher of Jumps, who rides an KTM 890 Rally. Please get Keanu Reeves as a guest on the show. Thank you!

LeeParksisGOATEasily InfluencedIt all started in 2016 which Spurge covering the Street Twin launch. 8 years and 7 bikes later, my garage includes: a Street Twin 900 (for Mr. Dunbar), a R12 NineT (for Mr. Courts), a 4Qt jug of Motul 7100 (for producer Spencer) and some other 2-wheeled monsters. Thanks for being my paragon of moto intel!

Manny-O-WarWhere Engines Roar and Hearts Soar“Highside/Lowside” isn’t just a motorcycle podcast; it’s a powerful blend of raw engine sounds and heartfelt stories. Each episode feels like cruising with old friends, where the crew blends technical insights with a genuine passion for the bike world. This podcast stands out by connecting the mechanical with the deeply personal. From gear reviews to intimate stories of riders’ experiences, it captures the full spectrum of motorcycling life. It’s not just about the thrill of the ride; it’s about the highs, lows, and human connections behind the helmet. “Highside/Lowside” balances gritty technical details with emotional depth, making every episode both exhilarating and moving. For those who cherish the open road, this podcast offers a compelling look at motorcycling as a profound and exhilarating journey.
-
El.FishNew rider highlight podcastI have been riding for about a year. It’s amazing to start learning about gear from Spurg via the how-to videos, narrowing down my bike selection on Daily Rider with Zach, and learning maintenance stuff from Ari. This whole company is outstanding. And this podcast really encapsulates life as a motorcyclist. I recommended it to my dad and brother who also ride. I’m excited for the long term replacement strategy for Young Dunbar and Young Courts. Highside, Lowside, Dadside!
-
Kadota21Top NotchGreat podcast with great content and hosts. After catching up on the last two seasons I went back in time to Covid era HSLS and it’s really fun to pick up on recurring themes in the podcast and watch them adjust their approach in “real time” based off of feedback in the listener comments section. Love the show guys, keep it up!
-
dasschneiderGreat conclusion to season seven! This podcast has been very interesting, informative and entertaining. As an older motorcyclist who takes much pleasure in 55-65mph rides around central Texas on my BMW R1200R I always look forward to hearing the insights from you and guests on the bigger world of motorcycles. I’m not surprised that you have made seven seasons and more are in the making.
-
JjwarstlerLame adventure bikes?!Jonathan here, I’m a big fan of the show and enjoy listening to your adv/off road content especially. One thing I have noticed about adventure bike content is that you test the most dirt worthy version of the bike, and then often talk about how you would change it to make it more dirt worthy. What about the manufacturers that make street oriented versions of adv bikes (I’m thinking KTM adventure S vs adventure R and the like)? Do these lamer and tamer version have a place in the market? Are they good at anything? Do they even sell any of them? Are they really just sport touring bikes? I would love to hear your feedback on these often untalked about bikes and their place in the motorcycling world.

Cola WarriorGood podcast, but more freedom pleaseThis is a well done podcast. Likable hosts, good guests, varied and interesting topics, funny humor. I’m rating it four stars instead of five because host Zack went on the record as supporting helmet laws on the moto controversies episode. So dangerous activities up to and including what he’s personally comfortable with (motorcycling) are fine, but anything more dangerous than what he’s personally comfortable with (motorcycling sans helmet) should be made criminal? That way of thinking is why individual liberty is being chipped away at so relentlessly. Thanks to Spurg for understanding the importance of this. (No, I’m not a cruiser rider. Yes, I think wearing a helmet is a good idea).
-
Guy WolffThank youHello Zack and Spurge , As an older rider I have enjoyed listening to you both celebrate the bikes of a lifetime that many of us have seen come and go .You guys are doing a wonderful job and I have been listening to back episodes in my pottery shop while making the flowerpots that keep me owning my bike. As a game I would love hearing your opinions on what Modern bike might be the closest one could get to something us old guys lived to own back in the day .. So for Instance If I said BMW 1961 R69S with the Earles fork what is the closest modern bike to that one on a modern showroom floor today … Could be fun// Thanks for all you are doing

wsxedvfvHelping out an RT student..I’m a respiratory therapy student currently having to drive 1.5 hours one way 4 days a week to attend class. Driving to school I will listen to something RT related to prepare myself for the day. But for my ride home its all about High side Low side! It makes the long drive so much more enjoyable. It actually wakes me up a little bit after being tortured by PowerPoints all day…Keep up the great work! Chris

Matt MendelKTM Bias and That is OKThis is an excellent listen. The hosts are just as akward and quirky as the rest of us. They can sometimes have hot takes on motorcycles as a good riding buddy should, and that is what makes this podcast great. I have also learned that I should probably own a modern bike, as power and handling have changed a lot since the 80’s. You might feel pressured to buy a KTM, but as long as you run Motul in the engine I thinks you can listen while riding whatever you want. Matt M.

GraphicDexignerInformative and FUN!As someone who, at 63 years of age, is relatively new to motorcycling, I really appreciate the information presented in an entertaining, friendly, and digestible manner. I have already learned a lot from listening and have only one request: oftentimes when you guys start getting really excited about a topic, the acronyms and model numbers (without manufacturer) start flying. Please remember that some of your listeners are new to this world and we get lost pretty quickly when all we hear are strings of numbers and letters. Otherwise, this is a terrific podcast and I look forward to continuing my motorcycle education with Zack and Spurge.

MessrmeisterAt Least the 3rd Best Podcast I’ve Listened ToFrom KTMs, Bonny trips, and fatherly perspectives, to Jedi mind tricks, it’s own drinking game, and topics ranging from pure motorcycling to stuff that should be on a whole other podcast, these gentlemen are entertaining and informative. As a middle aged gent but newish rider, some of the terms and model designations being bandied about by industry pundits and marketing departments can be confusing, and but these two keep it simple and relatable without dumbing their subjects down. I appreciate the different approaches and backgrounds brought to the show, and love the guest appearances (although now I subscribe to too many channels…thanks guys). I still think the best episode I’ve heard yet was the Father’s Day one. Although plenty others have had me laughing out loud. My only gripe is that the show could really use just one more perspective. Much like the Three Musketeers, the Three Amigos and the Three Caballeros, you guys are totally missing out on the wildcard. I’d suggest bringing someone on full time. Possibly someone witty and charming, but with a novice rider’s perspective of the subject matter. In other words, someone who doesn’t actually know anything about motorcycling but would have a grand old time just chewing the cud. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean? Thanks for the show, it’s been awesome so far and I’m looking forward to more.

Doug in NCEnjoy the showI started listening to podcasts while working out at the gym. I really enjoyed your podcast that focuses on a hobby I am deeply interested and participate in. Really enjoyed the episode with Alonso. I saw him at a BMW rally a couple years ago and he is a funny man. It’s great to watch Alonzo in person and how he builds his comedy skit off of the audience. Try to bring him back for one of your episodes next year. I’ll be hanging on for the next season to begin. Thank you.

NotYou7272Just saying HiIve been watching the youtube Channel since before the podcast and its amazing watching you guys grow and change. Thanks for the great content and decent at best laughs ;). P. S. I wear a men's size medium shirt

TatortTot2019Favorite thing on YouTube! My fiance and I watch your poscasts on YouTube all the time. I have gone back and referenced some of them many times! (Actually, we watch all the Revzilla content, from HSLS, CTXP, Daily Rider, The Shop Manual). I have been my fiancé’s backpack for 3 years and recently got my endorsement and my own MT03!

russianrickSomething for everyone as long as everyone has two wheelsThis podcast covers so many topics from economics and fatherhood to proper social etiquette and government policy. If you needed a reminder that a motorcycle is the chariot of the gods, this podcast will do it. I wish they would make a mobile app of their engine sound guessing game, because I would play it like charades with anyone who could call themselves my friend. If you can’t get enough of your own motorcycle, then you won’t be able to get enough of this podcast. My family doesn’t understand me, but Zach and Spurge do. Top notch content, I only wish there were more episodes!
-
Mikemor310More episodes please !!!This is the greatest podcast ever. The hosts are well spoken, the sound is great, they never talk over each other ( a problem that other multi hosts podcast have ) and I love the fact that these two are true bikers / riders / racers so they actually know what they’re talking about. It’s also great to have a motorcycle podcast that covers ALL types of bikes and rides. Thank you for creating and operating this podcast, I just wish for more episodes and for them to be released more often, it’s the only thing that keeps me going on days that I have to take my car. Keep up the great work and God bless. Mike.

CoryD86Bring Alonzo BackThat was a good episode/ interview. Talkin about the different bikes.
-
Bayonet2Weekend Go-ToLove getting the new episodes to listen to over coffee on a Saturday morning. Guests like Alonzo Bodden and the Silver Fox are the bonus! But in S08E02 you kept referring to Marc Cook and Kent Kunitsugu when discussing 80s-90s Japanese bikes, you should have had them on the episode!

Metforminrocks153 hrs, 33 min, and 46 seconds!!!Dear our Benevolent leader Spencer, true arbiter of the majestic high side low side t-shirt. Today marked the completion of an epic journey to compete every episode of the high side low side podcast. You see I have spent 153hrs, 33min, and 46secs, listening to every episode. I’m 36 and for my entire life I loved motorcycles but couldn’t have one due to my love and respect for the worries of my family. This year though my beautiful wife finally agreed that I could get a bike. It was through this podcast and the many daily rider episodes that I ended up on a Honda Rebel 500 abs. I honestly feared the first ride I waited 3 decades for wouldn’t live up to the expectations. That was instantly quelled by the surreal happiness that my life long dream was even better in reality. Thank you for unwittingly coming along for this journey and please bring back Joe Zitto, I really missed his input in the later seasons.

Shawn in southern ArizonaLove it!Great pod! The sooner you have Alonzo back on the show, the better! - Shawn in southern Arizona 🔥

Rob LibbertGreat show, awkward hosts.Just listened to the Alonzo Boden show. Great guest, but his effortless delivery just highlighted the awkwardness of the hosts. The one guy in particular kept interrupting with weird comments, like explaining what a Ducati is to an audience of motorcyclists, or repeatedly missing the point of a story and following up with an unrelated comment about himself that he’d obviously been impatiently waiting to say rather than focusing on his guest. Still worth listening to.

Two Wheel TherapyMy 6 Year Old Thinks Lance Oliver is Related To Sir LancelotI only recently found this podcast a couple of months ago….truth be told, I’ve never listened to a podcast in my life before this one. I’ve been binge listening with my son and he loves it as much as I do. He listens to my friends and I talk smack to each other about very similar topics so I think there is a bit of familiarity for him while listening to these two banter. One thing I can say is that when you listen to back to back episodes, trying to catch up on multiple seasons, Spurgeon mentions the miles on his Bonneville….a lot….oh, and KTMs…Either way, it’s a pretty entertaining podcast and it’s pretty kid friendly as well with all the beeps and such. He wanted me to let you know he’ll be sure to send you his t-shirt size when you ask him for it

TheloniusChunkKeeping my dream alive.Due to my living situation I am unable to use it be anywhere near my bike (1985 BMW R80) a majority of the time. Working on that bike and riding it brought me so much joy, but for the foreseeable future I have to survive without it. Listening to this podcast when I’m working or driving long distances teaches me a lot, makes me laugh a lot, and reminds me of what it waiting for me when I can finally get some garage space. Zack and Spurgeon always discuss entertaining and enlightening topics all the while not taking themselves too seriously. 11/10, this podcast is one that I will unapologetically recommend to anyone who loves riding on two wheels.
