Dr Flippy NipsNeeds some polishLove the interview but good Lord Dave needs to get his septum fixed or something because he sniffles every 5 seconds during a 3 hour interview and it's so distracting. Also the ad placement is completely unhinged, just hire and pay a producer to smooth things out and you got a great podcast.

Also I think it’s the wrong Dave tate in the artist image lol

kenpoengineerAll Talk. Hardly any SubstanceReally! You guys could condense your podcast down to 20 minutes. Tons of talk with hardly any substance.

Benjamin$Dave is the manFantastic podcast covering it all in the field of Strength. Dave is an amazing interviewer asking questions that always lead the show into something interesting.
-
DrMoore81If you train, follow this podcastNo fluff material, no garbage . This podcast is where the big boys, and girls play. If Dave interviews them , then you should listen to what they have to say because they are the real deal!
-

scottwhallThank you DaveI’ve followed Dave’s business and lifting career for 25 years. He spoke to me on the phone when I was trying to figure out how to move from PL to strongman in the late 90’s. I am in that silent majority who is still listening, grinding, learning to train… thank you Dave! I’m 40 years under the bar and I’m still learning.
-
Ryan BurnhamDave does all the talkingI listened to a few episodes to hear specific guests that I like and the whole episode was Dave rambling and doing about 75% of the talking. The host should only do about 10% of the talking.
-
catholicdavisLove this podcastStraight talk about what it takes to be great at what ever you want to do. Entertaining guests and great stories.
-
mambathegr8AwesomeI learned a lot from listening to dave. It made me mentally stronger in and out of the gym. Excited for listen to more guest he has in his show.
-
derivative_fxRuns commercials over the interview….So annoying, tried listening to the Jon Hackk podcast and these shameless people literally run advertisements over the interview. Absurd and never coming back
-
Patrick Idahogreat podcast!Thanks Dave

Dchat500Every episodeThe podcast has always gotten better as time goes on. This season is the best yet. The guests are amazing and Dave has gotten excellent at interviewing and talking to the guests and asking all the right questions. Thank you Dave!
-
Pete arroyoFrankl EpisodeTable Talk is the working history of the extreme era of powerlifting. Dave is great at bringing out the human side of such extraordinary lifters of this era. Shawn was a great lifter and forged his way into becoming a great man!

rondave72Awesome ResourceI don’t listen to each episode as it comes out, nor do I listen to all episodes. I doubt few do. I do listen as I have time and do TAKE THE OPPORTUNITY TO LISTEN TO VERY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE EXPLAIN WHAT THEY THINK MADE THEM SUCCESSFUL. There is a wider breadth of information here than just POWERLIFTING LEGENDS and their training philosophies. The show on Autism and letter boards might sound far afield for Table Talk, but it remains one of the more impactful and educational for me personally. A lot of podcasts in this genre put out content on a schedule, and if that content is of little more value than bad morning radio, so be it. You don’t get that here. The guests are top notch and the discussions are educational.

matt_kaasExtremely Informative PodcastMy favorite part is the diversity of people Dave interviews on the podcast, ranging from old Westside guys, competitive strongman or bodybuilders, to current strength & conditioning coaches. The podcast gives a lot of variety so that you know you are getting unbiased knowledge, first hand, from a wide range of sources! Unrelated to the podcast itself. After hearing about Marek Health and frankly fast forwarding through the “commercial” a handful of times, I finally decided to check them out and the Table Talk panel is BY FAR the most comprehensive panel I have ever seen and is significantly more thorough than anything my doctor has ever ordered. As I get older the concept of hormone optimization and longevity is becoming more important and I just ordered my labs with Marek Health to start their guided process. Great podcast, and true to Dave’s motto of life learn and pass on!
-
HotelfishboyGreat podcastEvery time I listen to the podcast I take away some info. It a great learning resource and entertaining at the same time. Dave also provides in some episodes the spark to start searching out new ways to train, better exercise variations etc. good stuff!

Zach Even - EshLearning from REAL LIFTERS & Coaches!!!I was lucky enough to come across Dave’s website in 2002, his website changed my life because he introduced me to people who are doing this because they bled Iron! Dave’s conversations bring me back to keeping it real & sticking to what REALLY WORKS. Looking forward to the next season! Update: This podcast keeps on getting better, super grateful how Dave brings these guests on, they going to some deep conversation and you can’t help but be inspired every time you listen

B.NuzzoleseOnly one negativeLove the show. Definitely has an independent voice in the genre. However, my biggest criticism is that often guests are difficult to hear. The sound level of JM and Mike Israetel was pretty bad. With your show I have to have it max volume with no background noise. Definitely keep up the hard work, really enjoy the content.

wes dekBest podcast for lifters and coachesI’m a lifter and a coach of a group of newer powerlifters. I can’t express enough how valuable all the information Mr. Tate and his guess share has been to me and therefore my clients. But I think the best and most unique aspect of Mr. Tate is his was of expressing how the answers to most questions aren’t purely black and white but very nuanced. There are many ways to success and no matter how knowledgeable you are you can learn valuable things from all different types of people. Listening to Dave Tate has increased my desire to keep learning and not instantly dismiss things that don’t fit into my bias. Huge thank you to everyone at elitefts for clearly spending so much time and effort for free to educate others.

MD839Truly the best podcast on strength!Season three has been one of the best— if not the best— runs of podcasts on strength and training that have ever been produced. I’ve listened to them all, so I’m not saying that lightly. The guests are all legends in their respective fields and lanes, and Dave clearly comes prepared with excellent questions. It’s a pleasure to listen.
-

smoothgliderA bit of everythingEach episode covers a number of different lifting topics from mindset, to nutrition, to training intensity, and exercise variations. It's all valuable. I've been lifting for ten years, competing for five, and I always learn at least five new things each episode. I love it.

this isn't SteveLove itDave is a wealth of information. Whether it’s practical application of strength and conditioning or old meathead stories, it’s always entertaining. Out of all the sports performance podcasts I listen to 3 and this is 1 of them.
-
majormath019Top TierExcellent for all fitness levels from competitive athletes, to General Population, even people just thinking about getting into it. Entertaining and informative - I get as many laughs as I do information
-
ScielthBest fitness podcast out there. Some are very informative and others are very entertaining with good friends joking around. One of the few podcasts out there that will straight up saw they don’t know an answer or give multiple answers to questions too generic. Seriously listen to these and go watch their videos and then try to listen to another podcast where advice is given. You’ll have a hard time with those others after listening to this awesome podcast
-
AJT0228One of my favsI love the training and philosophical focus of this podcast. The fact that I can walk away from every podcast learning something new about training as well as ways to improve my mindset and approach to life is what keeps me tuned in!

Tim_TilsonBest of the BestI listen to a lot of strength and nutrition content providers and hands down Dave Tate and his team put the best material out there specific to powerlifters, or anybody for that matter, that wants to get bigger and stronger. I recommend anyone that is an intermediate lifter and above listen to this podcast if you want to take your training to the next level because it’s one of, if not THE, best sources of information for strength training on the Internet.
-
HVACandLIFTAmazing insightLove the podcast. Not just for the lifting info, but the wisdom and life lessons as well. Thank you.
