Life is pain but this podcast is great!
This is a lovely podcast that anyone who loves D&D needs to make a priority. The dungeon master is next level, the cast are all lovely, and the production value is incredible. I was riveted listening to them and had a lot of fun. Can't recommend enough

    So much fun
This show is fantastic, I’ve gone back to start at the beginning and am having so much fun with these characters. Totally approachable even if new to D&D. Cannot recommend enough.

    Used to be great
Now it’s turned into a pronoun-laced wokefest. It detracts from the game. Unsubscribing.

    Thanks Jeff
I really didn’t need to have a full on ugly cry at work today, but yeah, that happened. I’ve never played dungeons and dragons, never got a chance to watch the live show, and probably never would of dived down this wormhole in a million years, but here I am, balling my eyes out wrench on hydraulic lines at the end of this 115 episode journey. I found out about Jeff’s side project from the /Filmcast podcast and checked it out. It was a good story and I was late to the party so I listened at work. I got hooked. Made my family listen on road trips. I was along for the ride, and oh what a ride. Jeff, you need to write movies. Your imagination, voices, message, and thoughtfulness shine through in your work. Thank you for your time and efforts. Human kind. BE BOTH!

    Episode 85
Ron Ron Ron Ron Ron… Literally everyone else? Seems like you straight up co-opted the DM intro from The Oxventure… “And I am literally everyone else in the world.” There’s even a music video. That said, still funny. :D Also, after ep 83… I have a plea: Less Angst, more Pranks. Less Drama, more Trauma. And Fahima… you are LITERALLY capable of innate flame. Why oh WHY didn’t you just scorch your way out of your manacles? Rant over. Soapbox done.

    Well worth the listen
Great story telling, great Characters, family friendly DND podcast with a twist. Worth a listen. You won’t regret it!

    Fun podcast BUT
other reviews have mentioned it but it’s on easy mode with every roll for the PCs given advantage. Newest episodes first 5 rolls had advantage so there’s no tenseness to the conflict si ce they have yet to roll low to make the conflict mean anything. The role part parts are superb and Jeff does a great job, but the inspiration thing takes some umph out of the game.

    By far the best out
I’ve listened to a lot of dnd podcasts and I think there are some really good ones out there, however THIS ONE RIGHT HERE. Whew lawd, I’ve never been in a situation where Im just as excited for the podcast as much as the live show. From the first episode to the most current you will be drawn into this world and these characters. You’ll find yourself invested in why Siv drinks so much and what it means when Fahima likes someone’s haircut. By far this is the best out there.
  • DnDlistener
    Great story but too easy.
Story is excellent, the actors are great but I got bored with the battles around episode 21. There was never any real challenges since the players always had a force of good card or advantage when they got in a little trouble. Missed a hit, they got a card for that. Get hit themselves, they heal up without issues by turning damage into healing. I’ll probably keep listening to hear the story, however never on the edge of my seat.

Just a few minutes in and I am grinning ear to ear!
Such a positive attitude, people who clearly enjoy this game even more than I do. Can’t wait to keep listening.

    Absolutely fantastic!
Normally I’d rave about an individual, or the production value, the fevers, the story.. etc.. I listen to over 30 podcasts a week and this one is, by far, the best! The DM has so many different personalities and voices, he really should be a professional voice actor. The players are *very* into their characters and the story line. I cannot begin to explain the entertainment value of this podcast. I’ve binged it from the beginning and am on round two of it. For the cast and DM and the people behind the scenes, take solace in that you really and truly have mastered your craft. Thank you very much for providing this.

    Love this show!
This show is incredible. The cast and crew are all stellar! The storytelling by Jeff is so detailed and well delivered. While the players play their characters with amazing talent and skill. The story is extremely engrossing and the role playing is out of this world! Highly recommended!

    Favorite show...ever?
This is my favorite story and is always my first watch/listen over other media each week. I literally have a big backlog of other movies and shows from the last 2 years to catch up on because I’ve gotten so engrossed in this story so much I pick this over those with my limited free time.

    Best Family Friendly D & D Available
If you want to hear a group of people play D & D with incredible heart & imagination using more than 4 letter one syllable words, this is the podcast for you. This group has become a family & a family friend. It fun just to listen to the wonderful theatre of the mind that they create. You will fall in love with the characters & the people portraying them. Better yet, the kids can listen with you without fear of have their ears melt from all the foul language being thrown about. Take a listen & become an instant fan.

The Heroes of Bingle fight on!
This is an amazing group of people, incredibly talented and so much fun to watch play DnD. Jeff is such a great DM, and each player/cast member brings something unique and flavorful to the group. Lord Arrabann is my very favorite Illithid, a true Keeper of Secrets.

    The best
Simply my favorite podcast and internet show of all time. The creative story telling is superb, Jeff sets up the crew nicely and the cast put great thought and energy into their characters. A great bunch of people making a thing I enjoy very much.

    The Best D&D Show
Better than Critical Role. Better than Adventure Zone. (Though you really should watch these folks live or on YouTube. It’s a superb experience.)

    Masterfully goofy improvisatory storytelling
The Dungeon Run brings together a talented cast of actors guided by the brilliant Jeff Cannata through an incredibly silly, yet also powerfully resonant adventure. No gaming knowledge is necessary, so don’t worry if you know nothing about Dungeons and Dragons. Although I have never played D&D, I found myself glued to the screen for each episode as the random dice rolls gave real weight to decisions made in game (and also the possibility of spectacular failure). No other form of storytelling can quite capture the feeling of watching a story take shape before your eyes, particularly when it is portrayed by people with such natural improvisatory instincts as the cast of TDR. The audience interaction in the show also helps it outshine its competitors, even if you can’t tune in for the livestream. It is cool to see how fan-created “forces of good and evil” can drastically change the story at any moment or just provide a bit of silliness (like random noodle beards). It is also neat to see the cast of the dungeon run interacting with each other and their audience both in and out of character, giving a sense of the people behind the character sheets. This show feels like live theatre in the best way. Even with the plethora of content in the entertainment universe available, this show and its heartfelt yet silly tone sets itself apart. It has become a regular and much anticipated part of my weekly routine. I can’t wait to listen in each week to see what is next for the heroes of Bingle and witness another adventure with my fellow runners and watchers of the time stream!

    Favorite DnD Show
The cast is so sweet and so much fun, good mix of action, comedy, and sincere story telling. Jeff is such a fun and thoughtful DM, and the cast keeps the story spicy. I listen to a lot of DnD content as a DM, and I always recommend this show above others without reservation

Just another watcher of the time stream
I have been watching/listening to the show from the beginning. It has continued to keep my attention while investing more in the characters. The acting and voices are fantastic as well as the world they have built. I hope to be here for the end of the story.

    It started...
By far one of the best ttrpgs I have seen. The cast does a phenomenal job in role play. Jeff Cannata always brings a great story each week. The chemistry between the characters is dynamite. And maybe times I have left an episode with my jaw on the floor. Keep up the great work you guys!!!! Can’t wait to see what’s next!
  • Dragonreborn853
    Truly amazing
Jeff is an amazing story teller who weaves an intricate and beautiful story with the rest of the cast. This show is worth every second of it.

    Entertaining, Creative, Unique & Powerful
The Dungeon Run helped introduce me to a new vein of understanding about what creative gaming *could* be. I enjoy the humorous, moving, and inspired roll playing/acting, and respect the commitment to such a unique endeavor by so many involved in it's production. The presentation is impressive. The community built up around the show is inspirational. The player characters are dynamic and the multitude of non-player characters, embodied by Dungeon Master Jeff Cannata, is often multifaceted and of all manner and voice. I don't care for the restraints to this production required of such a project occuring in today's world, but such is life. It may well be this very time and place that has provided such fertile soil for The Dungeon Run to exist in the first place.

    Very Good
I really enjoy this show. Let’s just say I’ve watched every episode and I don’t regret it for a moment. Worth every second.

    Come back!
I watched The Dungeon Run every week for almost its entire run. The cast is charming, the story top notch, and the GM fantastic. It inspired me to try DandD, which I never thought I would. They adapted to the pandemic beautifully, producing new content when no one was. I miss the story, the actors, and the joy of watching them.

You Think You Know but You Have NOOO idea
This is the best D&D podcast and love show I’ve seen. Jeff is amazing as the DM with the voices and descriptions he paints a beautiful picture that then allows the rest of the cast fill in the details with fully developed backstories and character arcs. You won’t be sorry you tuned in!
  • Great band, crap recording
The best show in the history of the Universe… ever
This is a fun show, with a great DM, cast, and story but it’s really just seeing how they bring it all together that makes magic.
  • Clays of Future Past
    Great and Accessible for Everyone
If other DnD podcasts have scared you off due to the overwhelming nature of jumping in on episode 200-something or not knowing if they vibe with your “style of RP”, this is perfect for you! With thorough recaps every episode plus multiple summaries available, this show is perfect to jump on any time. Plus, with a great mix of DnD mechanics and combat, epic storytelling, memorable and fun characters, intense action, and goofy unpredictable antics, the show has something for everyone regardless of age or background.

    Changed my life
I was introduced to The Dungeon Run (TDR) by a friend. I had never been involved with DnD or any fantasy games/lore (that was too “nerdy” for me, growing up as a surfer). However, I decided to take on his recommendation and I am so happy I did. Jeff’s storytelling is out of this world and the cast is so talented and creative that it had become my favorite show by far. I saw all 77 episodes and I wish there were another 777 more! Now I have been reading de DnD 5e player’s handbook and even played my first campaign. Now I am so sad I didn’t get to do this so many years before... Anyway, the show is suitable to all ages, a real family show, and the take home messages all revolve around love, respect, and being kind to each other. We need more of that, especially with so many shows filled with violence and profanity. Words cannot describe how thankful I am of all the cast of TDR. They are just amazing!
  • Intrepid Jedi
The best show on the internet
This show is magical! The story telling is incredible the cast is phenomenal. The sets and digital studio they set up is breathtaking. Thank TDR for lighting a passion for long form story telling and DnD in me.

    5+ Stars and Family friendly
I love listening to dungeon and dragons podcasts, but hate foul language. This crew keeps everything family friendly, and the improvised storytelling is outstanding! You don’t even have to know how to play dungeons and dragons! Highly recommend!!!

The Dungeon run is an immersive story played out by talented and enthralling characters. Once you get in you will be hooked.

This show sold me on what D&D can be
I started watching/listening to this show because I enjoy and support anything Jeff Cannata does. However, I eventually fell in love with the entire cast as they brought his story to life. This show is the reason why I began DMing my own D&D game. My kids and I love making these episodes a family event as well.
  • DragonBard
Fun fantasy story with Mel Blanc and awesome characters and a twist
The Dungeon Run is a great podcast. The GM Jeff Cannata is great. Clever character creation with so many voices that rival Mel Blanc. The players have great full backgrounds and their roll playing is wonderful. (I’m not doing this podcast justice. I can only think of the word great. I use it to many times. I’m sure the cast can think of many other words.) The bard actually writes and sings her songs in play. The thief is a poet and reads his poetry on the show. And the Watchers of the live podcast got to change the story. Hijinks ensue. A definite watch. They uses D&D5e as their base, but you don’t need to know anything about the game to enjoy it.
  • Lizofthewoodd
    Love The Dungeon Run!
This show has all the classical pieces we love from D&D but the team has put a new spin on it, allowing the audience to participate by aiding either the players or the enemies they are up against. A good family D&D show with plenty of heart and talent to spare.
  • ramblingator23
    Great cast, great show
Found this because I’m a fan of Jeff Canatta’s (the DM) other work. I knew nothing about D&D but fell in love with the story Jeff is telling and the cast that was assembled to tell it. The Dungeon Run has become one of my favorite parts of each week.
  • BlackTuesday911
    Great entertainment
This is my favorite D&D podcast. Not only is the story incredible, but the cast is terrific and their characters are believable. Jeff is the best DM/GM I’ve seen facilitate a campaign. And call me a prude in my old age, but I truly appreciate the clean and wholesome vibe of TDR.
  • WTH seriously
    Inspiration
This show inspired me to do something I had wondered about for years. It gave me the inspiration to start my own DND group. Their storytelling and role play are phenomenal and so intense it actually brings tears to my eyes during certain parts. 5/5 greatest experience and inspiration.

    AMAZING SHOW
This show is amazing. Jeff is a top tier DM who paints visuals through descriptions and voice acting. The cast is so thoughtful, kind and passionate as well. They do charities and teach and learn about real world struggles within an authentic fantasy feel. I look forward to every Wednesday to listen to them. The story that they share is one that has touched my heart and I can’t wait for it to start back up again. Until next time cast and crew. Humankind. Be both. 🖤 Rays_of_Resonance

    Best D&D Show
This is the *best* D&D show and podcast out there. It’s family friendly, very wholesome, gripping, and entertaining. It gets your attention from the first moment and holds it for the entire duration. Jeff Cannata is a brilliant DM, expertly weaving the storyline and the improv from the cast into a cohesive story. The cast is truly dedicated to their characters and bring the story to life in ways other shows can’t. I highly recommend this for D&D newbies and experts alike.
