Long time fan of Juliet’s Bachelor Party (right reasons) pod, and just stumbled upon this looking at other ringer content. Had no idea she hosted, but am SO happy to have found it. Everything Juliet touches is podcast gold! Updating to include praise for We’re Obsessed. Updating to extend a huge Mazel to Juliet!!!

This podcast is truly great. Today’s episode (Juliet’s surprise) made me simultaneously SO happy for Juliet and so sad to be without her A+ hosting, journalism, and all around wonderfulness for the next few months. At the Ringer there is a ton of amazing talent and Juliet is among the top of the top.

Just can’t with the casual unintended misogyny fed by online smear campaigns re. Megan Markle, Blake Lively, etc. Whenever you have an opinion/feeling about a woman but don’t know why, interrogate yourself, not the woman.

Omg Juliet congratulations on your baby! You will be the best mom ever. I love how the women are really speaking their minds! Now is the time. Great stuff

This is my first time going thru the reviews and I just have to say - all the haters hating on you guys because of Megan hate are haters!!! I love this pod, please don’t change a thing. I love to mutually hate all the same things that you both hate!!!!

I listened to Bachelor Party for years before I quit that franchise, and Juliet consistently hated most of the women, finding random things to make fun of them for. Sad to see her doing the same pick-me behavior here. It makes me cringe how transparent her blind hatred and jealousy are. It’s beyond snark, just needlessly cruel and just no fun to listen to. Jodi is great and I’m relieved that Chelsea has left We’re Obsessed because she also hated everything and had no enthusiasm.

Stop with the attempted shaming and canceling anyone who isn’t a lockstep liberal fascist.

doubling down on the Megan hate after all the comments from last week is.... telling. you could just NOT discuss her on a PUBLIC platform and continue the text threads you claim you have from friends who also hate the show. remember your anger at Gwyneth Paltrow for not using her platform in a positive way? Take ur own advice and use ur platform to discuss things you actually like instead of sending more hate someone's way. It's gross.

You (Jam Session) don’t like Meghan Markle. I think fans of this podcast would be okay if you didn’t cover her stuff so you will stop engaging in the same conversation.

I love I’m Obsessed (and used to love Tea Time back in the day), but Jam Session is so bad - it was always pretty mean spirited, but lately the Sussex hate (Every. Single. Episode.), and lack of genuine pop culture analysis has gotten worse, and I’d like to unsubscribe from JS (either bring a fresh perspective, do thorough research, or be fun to hang out with, please). I wish the shows could be broken up into separate feeds/channels.

Guys, I mostly like your podcast but if there’s something happening in the world of gossip that you don’t want to cover , then don’t. I get that you’re not fans of Meghan markle or her husband, but like move on. Hate is not cute, it’s exhausting.

I love we are obsessed and that show is truly fun and enjoyable. Hearing the Jam session with Juliette describe her hate for Megan is UNSETTLING. The hate for Megan coming from two white women wanting a Black princess to be relatable is disgusting.

Y’all go be hating on Meghan Markle. It’s kinda obvious. Glad you can see it now.

These two have been fun in this podcast and I’ve been a weekly listener for a long while. Their recent obsession with Meghan Markle, her show and her marriage has officially turned me off this show! If she still on interesting, why do you spend so much time talking about her? It reeks of jealousy. You don’t like that her show is rehearsed….its a TV show not reality tv. Two white women bashing this black woman is not what I came here for and I’m out.

Can you guys ask yourselves if you’ve ever liked anything ever associated with a black woman? If you do not enjoy black women you shouldn’t talk about them… just do not cover them.

Loyal listener of the pod! However, I’d like to suggest that if they don’t want to cover a certain topic then they just shouldn’t? As a listener, it’s not compelling to listen to them talk about how much they don’t want to talk about Meghan Markle. Like please you don’t have to cover her show if you don’t want to. I don’t want to listen to two white women complain about how much they dislike a black woman.

I don’t know why Juliet does this podcast- she hates everything, she has only negative things to say, she constantly cuts off topics that Amanda tries to start by saying something conversation ending things like “I didn’t like it” or “I don’t care” or “I didn’t get it” - she makes it so awkward and annoying to listen to. Also, I don’t know what she is into but it seems like none of the topics covered by this podcast are her interests or things she likes so maybe find someone who does like that stuff to do this podcast with Amanda!

Really surprised by the recent episode of Jam Sesh, have you done any research on what is going on with Lively/Baldoni? You are like weeks behind on your information. Here’s a tip, a lot has come out since the NYT’s article, maybe doing some research before having an episode about it.

We’re Obsessed is so enjoyable to listen to, everyone is on point with their takes. Jam Session is just off the mark with most of their takes. Juliet is actually more balanced but is often pulled in by Amanda’s bitter old lady opinions. Especially with the Blake/Justin drama, like wow so off the mark. It’s getting to the point where I wish Juliet would just host Jam Session with the We’re Obsessed ladies!

I don’t get it, Juliet. Why be so exorbitantly mean when speaking about Meghan, Duchess of Sussex? Gosh, give her a chance. Good grief!

I love Nora from every single album and SO happy now I get her every week with Jodi on all things pop culture ( not just taylor, even though I could listen to her talk about taylor all day!!)

We’re Obsessed is so fun and light and positive, it absolutely makes my Friday! Jodi is a delight and I’m thrilled that Nora Princiotti is joining as her co-host. Their first episode was so lovely, looking forward to listening to future episodes!

Please, don’t let Amanda D ruin this one too. After years as a devoted listener o could no longer stand her and she drove me away from the big picture podcast and now she’s a reg on Ringer dish? Please dear god no! Also, RIP tea time I miss it. When Amanda isnt on, I have fun with Juliet and Co. Please steer that course and don’t scare us all away by permanently placing dobbins on this one too, please!

LOVE were obsessed and Jodi. So happy Nora will be joining permanently to match her energy. These two girls are so brilliant and fun with such sharp wit and nuanced takes that it makes me feel less vapid consuming pop culture.

Amanda is insufferable. I looove when she’s on maternity leave and we get different cohosts. I wish she would stay away and just raise her kids. Or have like 10 more? Whatever gets her off the mic faster will do.

Once you understand Juliet is a complete airhead, it’s pretty fun.

Alexis on We’re Obsessed is EVERYTHING

Podcaster myself so I’d never give below a 5 star but…um…non-fiction books are not “dad books”…are we still in 1952? History is for the dads? Men? Really? Juliet, own that! Non-fiction makes for cultured and educated people and it’s not a “dad” thing. So odd y’all.

I feel like this review is long overdue. I have been listening to the Ringer Dish for years. I am a huge fan of Jam Session and really enjoyed the favorite things episode that was just dropped. I am now the proud owner of a new Merit blush and a new face wash. I appreciate how delightful Juliet and Amanda are together. Juliet has the most contagious laugh and I find myself wishing in another life that we could have been friends. Unfortunately I am nowhere near New York, but at least I get to hear her and Amanda almost every week. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this podcast as it brings me a lot of joy.

A symptom of our age, my girlfriends and I seem to no longer have time/proximity to dish about pop culture like this. I listen to these ladies and get a similar rush. It’s fun!

Amanda both sidings the Brad/Angelina divorce. I know her husband interviewed Brad but YIKES. Angelina has barely done press for Maria, why was she acting like Angelina was being crazy? Very disappointing (and honestly, gross) take from her.

I'm an avid pop culture girly and listen to several other pop culture podcasts. I gave this one several listens but had to stop because Juliet's interruptions of her cohosts were SO distracting (and rude?). Just let them get a sentence out please!

Good on their separate podcasts but their conversation feels very forced on a show together.

Been loving Bingemas with Jodi Walker and think it was the right move to have her helm We’re Obsessed with a rotating cast of cohosts! I’m obsessed with all of her takes, and find her to be a bright light on this feed! Shout out also to the great Juliet Litman, whom I’ve been a huge fan of since the G-land days 💜

I was an avid follower. Honestly, just stay out of the Blake and Justin drama when you clearly have a block against Taylor and Blake. The lack of ability to see both sides has come through since this summer, just be surface level and move on. An ENTIRE episode to this is crazy. I can no longer follow. I listen for facts. Not emotion.

First, I love Jam Session and Juliet is a gem. Second, this Bingemas miniseries has truly become the highlight of the holidays for me. I look forward to it every week and I’ll be so sad when it’s over. I’ve never seen a Hallmark-style Christmas movie but I don’t need to, Jody (Jodi?) and her guests give me everything I need and more. Thanks for the laughs.

I started with TeaTime (RIP) and have segued to the rest of the pop culture podcasts - give Jodi Walker all the jobs! She has the personality, the wit, and she does her homework. She shines with great co-hosts, like on Bingemas, and elevates less talented and underprepared ones. I’ll even occasionally listen to the Housewives podcasts to hear her take on news in that universe. Additional shoutout, of course, to Jam Session, the godmother of pop culture podcasts. Seeing Ringer Dish eps in my feed always brightens my day 💕

Bingemas is the best. I loved the columns on the Ringer website and am glad Bingemas lives on. Hosts are fun to listen to.

Juliet knows a lot about some things but then often gets basic verifiable pop culture facts wrong. Recently she confidently said that Paul Mescal went to the Eras Tour when he was with Phoebe Bridgers. They broke up long before the tour even started! Makes for a frustrating listen when the hosts don’t always seem to know what they’re talking about. Enjoying the rotating guest hosts while Amanda is out. Amanda and Juliet tend to encourage each other’s mean girl instincts in a way that can make for an unpleasant listen. Also enjoying We’re Obsessed a lot more without Chelsea.

I generally enjoy all of the pods on this feed, but found the episode with Alexis Wilson super fun. It gave me life. I’d be so excited is she became a regular cohost or contributor.

Jam Session is The Best. Juliet is a gift to humanity. I could listen to her talk for a five-year prison stint and never be bored.

Updated review to say please have Alexis Wilson on every episode of We’re Obsessed. So much fun and personality, laughed out loud to myself while listening. Make her a co-host!! I’ve never heard her before this episode but I would listen every week if she were on!

Chelsea is insufferable. Why have someone host a podcast who seemingly has no interest in pop culture? She is willfully and proudly ignorant and joyless. I miss Tea Time so much.

Amanda + Juliet have me feeling seen every week. Pros with great takes. Jodi is a star. Someone tell Chelsea she’s on a podcast.

I am a longtime ringer pop culture fan but think I might be done with this one. I am listening to a pop culture podcast to have an escape from the negativity that exists in this world and this does not provide that. I am fine having a different take on something that the host of a podcast I am listening to but feel like Juliet is tearing apart people who like popular things (Taylor Swift, DWTS, etc) I found the way she spoke about Taylor swift on this past episode quite disgusting (again you do not have to be a fan but tearing someone apart with no evidence is pretty hard to listen to) I think I will hang up my hat on this one in search of something more positive.

Love Jam Session in general but Juliette and Wosny are a hit together. They’re dynamic brings levity and humor!
