CLASH OF THE TITLES sees two movies with something in common go head to head in a fight to the death! Well, not death. We just decide which one is better. Then kill the other! Or not. Every week Alex Zane, Vicky Crompton and Chris Tilly thrust a pair of films with a connection into the arena of combat – or, com-chat - with only one emerging as the winner! Remakes Vs Originals, Alien Rip Off Vs Alien Rip Off, Film with Talking Animal Vs Film with Talking Animal, Massive Ruddy Volcano Movie Vs Massive Ruddy Volcano Movie. It’s A Big Screen Battle Royale and you have front row seats!

Weekly Quiz: Question 1: Which Clash of the Titles host was wronged on Aug. 26th, 2020 when a Sam Raimi film won instead of the other film in the episode? (The Crow lost to Darkman 2-1)(Point to Vicky Crompton) Question 2: Which Clash of the Titles host has quoted “And the thing about a shark is he’s got lifeless eyes. Black eyes. Like a doll’s eyes…more than twice on the pod? (Jaws, Indianapolis Speech)(Alex Zane)(Point to Alex Zane) Question 3: Which Clash of the Title host said: “…set against the backdrop of a truly terrible musical movement…”(Singles, Chris, Formerly, Chris Tilly)(Point to Chris Tilly) *Klaxon*Klaxon* With three amazing host that make each other and the fans laugh, long may this podcast reign. As we are rounding out another year of podcast excellence I wish nothing but health and happiness to Vicky, Alex and Chris and their families. Thank you all. -Joe (Tacoma, Washington)

    It’s time for the verdict!
Quickly became my favorite podcast after first discovering a couple years ago, and I’ve grown quite fond of hearing the lovely Chris, Vicky and Alex chat movies twice a week. I’ll even re-listen to old episodes now-and-then because I love their on-air chemistry. I hope this show goes on forever because I’m all in! ;)

    This is the best podcast.
No need to look any further. Since discovering this podcast, I deleted all my other podcasts, quit my job, blocked my friends, and now I spend my days bathing in the sumptuous discourse, affectionate bickering, and insightful profanity afforded by Clash of the Titles. Vicky, Chris, and Alex will truly take you on a journey that plumbs the depths of your childhood (assuming you like movies and aren’t a monster.) It’s more comforting than a warm, all-encompassing reach-around from Liam Neeson teaching you to aim a gun. Safe to say, I’m all in.

    A perfect pod.
I love this podcast. Often times, I love the podcast a lot more than I love the films being discussed. Additionally, these three can take a film I was previously unaware of or disinterested in (although then, of course, I watch the film and find myself I were listening to ClashPod instead.) This podcast has inspired me to practice “clashing” with my friends - we each bring a film to the table and do our best scene, most valuable whatever, and propose a change. (We even sometimes try to shoehorn in a Tim Curry reference.) It makes watching films a whole lot more enjoyable. I don’t really listen to any other podcasts now. And fortunately, I’ll probably never catch up, what with the two and a half hours of content per week. Grateful to Alex, Vicky, and Chris for spurring on a love of cinema. Five big ole stars.

    Willow episode!
Dddaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!! Omg pronounce the names of the characters correctly, please! For goodness sake. Had to turn it off when Fin Razel was pronounced “Razeeeel.” Willow happens to be my favorite childhood movie and the irreverence was so hard. I’m a strong person and can hear a different opinion, but my GOD, please don’t bastardize character names! Sheesh!

Don’t be stupid, give it a listen!
Vicky, Chris and Alex always brighten my day with their authentic friendship and brilliant insight into movies. Living in Japan, and not being able to go back home, it’s nice to listen in to a fun chat that’s equal parts movie deep dives and general piss-taking. Listen to it on a long train ride or during a quick bath wank!

    I’m all in
It’s an immediate listen for me when it pops up in my feed. It’s got everything you want in a movie podcast: behind the scenes stories, actual writing knowledge and insights, stupid jokes, and heated arguments about completely inconsequential topics. And they are much more mature than they would ever admit because they got through an entire episode about Minority Report without ever saying “Precogs can still they you pregnant.”

    Favorite Podcast
I’m a proud OG listener who is “all in” on this podcast. I eagerly await this pod weekly and it’s opened my eyes to a good mix of both Hollywood classics as well as a few lesser known but brilliant movies I had previously been unaware of (special mention for Society and “Amy want green drop drink”). While I come for the laughs, I also love learning about the inner workings of a movie as well as what makes a movie good - most notably, being no more than about 90 minutes in duration. Keep up the great work and I hope to see you at a live show someday soon!

    The best film podcast around!
Clash of the Titles is the only podcast I’m totally committed to. I’ve listened to every single episode since the beginning. Now, I love a lot of podcasts but there are no others I can say that about. It’s funny, it’s charming, it’s well researched (usually), and it’s just bloody interesting. Vicky is always insightful and has an infectious laugh (her “what would you change” section is always brilliant), Chris brings the encyclopedic knowledge and keeps the forward momentum going, and Alex kicks up the energy with his jokes and banter. And it’s obvious all three truly love film. One last thing… I don’t care what Chris says, the bit of small talk at the beginning is gold. It let’s your listeners get to know you three better (well, Vicky and Alex, anyway) and the three of you together is what makes this podcast really special. Keep it up, y’all. If I can, I’ll buy you all a round or three someday. It’s the least I can do for all the laughs you’ve brought me. Cheers!

    4.999 stars
My (bi-) weekly favorite podcast... and this from a serial podcast listener. Terrific and hilarious host chemistry and often educational. 4.999 ⭐️’s the missing 0.001 ⭐️due to Vicki being totally wrong about the ending of the Mist

Better than a Night in the Pub
This podast is full of life: comic moments, spontaneous insites, quirky tiffs, and intelligent dialogue. I love that the hosts give each other room to talk and are both ostentatious and humble at the same time. The podcast also inspires me to go watch movies I might not have otherwise seen, like a type of fun homework before listening to a new show. Highly recommended.

Clash of the Titans - something new, something fresh
Take one part CinemaLove™️, one part 3-way critical analysis, and two parts semi-obscure films from the past and you begin to enjoy the cinema sandwich that is Clash of the Titles. Upon first listen, I found myself reaching for the nearest computer to google the special moments and trivia that these three savants easily dispense as part of a lively and dynamic discourse that combs over the dunes of my adolescence and places me in a womb-like trance of happiness. Give it a listen. And give Alex Zane a pass for choosing “The Net” over “Hackers”. We should all want to live/exist in that nostalgia mate. Back when life was as pure as Jolie’s lips and as clean as Zero Cool’s screen gaze. My boy Chris Tilly knows what’s up! HACK THE PLANET!!
