    A Killer Good Time!
I have loved listening to The Horror Cast for years, and continue to! I love that they have brought together both male and female hosts, with all different types of personalities and tastes, to have comprehensive horror discussions. All the hosts seem so down to earth and are so easy to listen to, and this podcast really helps me keep up with what's actually being released in the horror world! Love the gentle humor infused throughout as well.

    One of my favorite podcasts
This is the first horror podcast I ever listened to, and it’s still one of my favorites. People have come and gone on the show, but the quality has never changed. The dynamic between the 4 cohosts now is great. It’s like sitting around with friends and discussing your favorite movies My favorite episodes are the Rotten Roundtables and The Drive In episodes. I love hearing about old movies I used to watch as a kid.

    My favorite podcast
I have been listening to horror podcasts for about 5 years now and I listen to A LOT of them. This was my second ever horror podcast that I listened to and it’s still at the top of my list. As soon as I see a new episode has been released, I listen to it above all others. I actually don’t use iTunes so it’s hard for me to leave reviews for podcasts I enjoy but I saw some douche left the worst review ever on here and it’s so dumb that I had to sign up and leave a good review and defend this podcast. Marknado is so informed and watches more movies than maybe anyone else on the planet. Even better, he listens to all the crap movies that I don’t want to watch and lets me know what I can avoid, which I greatly appreciate as I don’t have a ton of time for movies. I love the discussions between Vin, Mark, and Tammy because they all have different points of views and opinions and they don’t put each other down for it, they listen to each other and have great discussions. It feels like I’m amongst friends when I listen to this podcast so thank you!

    Oh, the horror...
Huge fan of Hammer Films, owning everything available on Blu-ray and well over a hundred total, including every Hammer Horror film. So, I was really happy to find a podcast which had recently done a large block because other than Hammer House of Podcast it’s slim pickings. What a disappointment, though, as other than Vin (who actually does research and presents it well) and Tammy, it’s a slog. You’ve got Watson with his cuhhrazy, amplified morning zoo antics, which gets old quickly. Brandon, who doesn’t have the good sense to realize this is not the time to talk about your disgusting mythology of choice unless it’s to denounce it. Better to just shut up and hide under a rock until sweeping changes are made. Can’t recall any Walshy input which may be a good thing, considering. Now, the insufferable Marknado: I’m not one to automatically judge someone who sounds like a rube (dadgum), but this bloke is straight out of an Emma Vigeland YouTube interview of pick any Trump rally attendee. Wow, them wimmens sure are purdy. It’s a tray for bewbs to sit on, hubba hubba...ad nauseam. Described a movie he didn’t like by making a loud, long, wet farting sound into the microphone. What is he, eight, at best? Clears his throat, strongly, and often, right into our ears, just gross! Does little or nothing to prepare for films he’s never seen and so comes across as lazy and ignorant, whereas Vin seemingly does it for everyone. He needs to partner up with one other person, do their own thing and ditch the dead weight. I’m muddling through The Satanic Rights one and Mark said “I’m just here to make jokes about it,” which to that point, nope, but then he came up with, in answer to “Dracula, after what like eight films goes out by getting caught in a bush,” “Hey, it could at least have been a ‘70s bush.” Quality ad-lib material. I hope he’s not in all of them since it is a round table format, but I’m not confident. One and a half stars for Vin and a half for Tammy. Ps/FYI - Doctor Who was not even close to dying around the time of Captain Kronos. 1974 was Tom Baker’s first year and the ratings were excellent all the way through 1982. It started floundering from 1986 - 1989 when it was cancelled until 2005, except for the one movie in 1996.

My favorite Horror Podcast for almost three years
Why is this the best Horror podcast? Whomever is on the show, (guests rotate) the discussion is always SMART, friendly and fun! These people know their movies and have a love for the genre that doesn’t come across as creepy or weird, but sincere and intelligent. They have a structure, but aren’t a afraid to switch things up. They do themes(which I love) like Kingtober , a retrospective of Stephen King films, (or the most recent Hammer Horror) where movies are grouped on theme and discussed over the course of several shows. Finally my favorite thing (aside from the dulcet tones of Marknado’s voice) is that the cursing is kept VERY minimal which allows me to enjoy it with my teenage daughters and generally elevates the whole show in my opinion. I feel like I’m hanging with a group of friends whenever I listen!

    Great recommendations for horror fans
The main host (Marknado) watches a ton of stuff and is one of the few horror podcast hosts who can actually steer avid horror fans to little known stuff they may not have checked out. Their episodes where they just go around making recommendations are the best.
