HookedonDancing360Love this podcast! Just edited it!!I have loved listening to this podcast! I've learned so much from Jamie, and love having her son on the podcast now too to hear his viewpoint on things. This podcast has given me tons of encouragement and lots of tips for how to go about homeschooling in a way that protects the child's innate love of learning! I also love knowing Jamie is an introvert like myself! Thanks Jamie and keep on going! You're blessing lives! I'm so sad you're ending the podcast!! You have been such a light In our homeschool journey!!

Sundrop SarahAuthentic Homeschooling storiesI just finished listening to the podcast about “Bittersweet” homeschooling and life moments. Jamie hit the nail on the head! I love that I hear the good and the bad of life, but in an encouraging way…that pushes me to keep on with the journey of home education and mothering. It’s beautiful, authentic and I really loved your book as well! I’m rereading Introverted Mom…as I need to hear the stories again with the season that I’m in. It’s my fifth year of homeschooling…and this podcast is good for anyone homeschooling. Thanks Jamie and Jonathan! I think I might go enjoy a piece of bittersweet chocolate…☺️🥰

HeidiTaljLove it!I really, really enjoy hearing Jamie and her son host together. Today I listened to the episode on Leadership Education (or seven tips on homeschooling? Something like this) and it was just so fun, so encouraging, so helpful and I love their dynamic chatting together - all of the smiles🥰💗🥰💗🥰

jvkidsI’ve loved following this journeyWe’ve followed the Martins since we began our homeschool journey about 10 years ago, and I have learned so much from them. Love that we can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

HomeEducatingMamaOf5The inspiration I needed for today!I just listened to your episode on post-homeschool guilt. I found it very touching! I just graduated my third and I still have two at home. The time is passing SO quickly! Thank you for encouraging homeschoolers!

postpartummamaWonderful PodcastI only recently discovered this podcast and have added it to my weekly list of homeschool podcasts. It’s a joy to listen to, and Jamie and Jonathan’s playful banter keeps my interest. As someone who is a little hard of hearing, I must admit that it can be difficult to hear Jamie’s voice at times. The sound quality of the podcast overall is great, and she has a pleasant voice, but at times it can trail off gently. Even with my phone volume up all the way, I strain to hear what she’s saying. The podcast is great, and I’ll continue to listen anyway. Even with missing things from time to time, it’s absolutely worth the time!

GraceEllenOliverThank youThanks for the podcast Jamie and Jonathan. You help me cast a long term vision for my homeschool since my kids are 7, 5 and 2 right now and I’m still a relatively new homeschool mom. Appreciate your wisdom and experience and the conversational tone. Just a note, please do something about your sound quality. You are both somewhat soft spoken anc I don’t know if your mics are sensitive enough.

jkrumm15When in doubt, I listen to JamieI stumbled upon the Simple Homeschool website recently, and was comforted as I read through a few posts. Then I noticed she also has a podcast, and I was instantly hooked. When I’m feeling doubtful of my ability to homeschool my daughter, I listen to a few short episodes and Jamie’s calming voice reassures me that what I am doing in this season is enough. I also love the new episodes with Jonathan. For me, Simple Homeschool is definitely a go-to when I’m feeling blue.

KnzlynEncouragement for Homeschool MomsWow! The episode “Jonathan Tells All” was so encouraging was for me as a mom of 8 and 6 year old boys! To think that they may look back with sweet memories of the things they roll their eyes about now brought tears to my eyes. It was beautiful to hear the friendship between mom and son after homeschooling is all said and done.

mjhazen730New favAs we finished our first year homeschooling and began to plan for the second—I was listening to ALL THE PODCASTS and reading ALL THE BOOKS. I have grown to love Jamie’s podcasts (and book). I love how honest and encouraging she is. This is one of few podcasts where I will re-listen to certain episodes. So thankful for her wisdom and love! One feedback: would be grateful for louder volume. So soft spoken and I feel like I’m straining to hear versus other podcasts I listen to.

CaliMom4Breath of fresh airI love to listen to this podcast for an encouragement or a pick me up! The short, to the point episodes are wonderful. This podcast walks a great line between the unschool podcasts that are too laid back, and the super "wake up at 6am, make your bed, start school at 8 and work for 4 hours" podcasts which can leave me feeling inadequate. Thank you for this podcast!
-
Psugrl123456Wonderful and encouraging! This is a positive and encouraging podcast, and with its short durations is a must add to your podcast list! Thank you Jamie!!

sarah.e.g.lewisLOVE this podcast!I’ve been reading the Simple Homeschool blog for years. I love listening to this podcast. Jamie has such a kind and encouraging heart, and I have learned so much from all the contributors to the blog. In each podcast episode, she reads a blog article from the simplehomeschool.net archives. Most of them I read when they were originally posted, but hearing them read aloud years later is a sweet reminder and encouragement. This is my favorite podcast, and I highly recommend it to homeschool parents!

Kim HuittFresh airSo thankful for Jamie’s podcast. Her words really resonate with my heart and dreams for our family.

RodneyBrandtIt's about the WHY - thank you, thank you!Just finished listening to Jamie's podcast 3 Ways To Raise Kids With A Mission. So appreciate how she illustrates the importance of mission over skills. If we don't teach our kids to discover the WHY, the what, when and how won't matter. Very well said, Jamie!

KaylaMommaof2🍍Short and Encouraging!Ever since discovering Jaime with her “Introverted Mom” book last year, I have always been encouraged and inspired by her. She’s able to bring refreshing grace-filled perspectives to homeschooling challenges so you continue on with hope and a little more relaxed attitude. Thank you, Jaime!

katie-r-cI am not homeschooling my kids. This podcast is still invaluable to me.Jamie reads you stories from her homeschooling adventures, and this approach to podcasting is so refreshing. It’s not off-the-cuff chatter. Every word is intentional and gently spoken. My kids get audio stories from Sparkle Stories, and now I have these. The tips and lessons Jamie reveals feel so relevant to motherhood, even for families like mine that do not homeschool because, like Jamie says, we as parents are the greatest advocates for our kids’ education. My six year old has listened in several times and then come to me with the most wonderful questions—when I thought he was just drawing at the table while I cleaned up dinner! This podcast gets an easy five stars from me.
-
afw6Yay!Love this blog and Jaime Martin. Now to have the wonderful, encouraging content of all the contributing authors in an audio form. Early Christmas present for me!
