    The Best Psychology Podcast
If you are looking for a podcast that goes in-depth into cutting edge research, Opinion Science is what you want. Andy is an excellent scientist, interviewer, and producer, and all that shines through so clearly in this extremely high-quality podcast. It is accessible to those who are not experts (not too jargony at all), while still providing nuanced and thought-provoking examinations of a diverse range of topics. I am a professor and I use this podcast to help stay current with research and get exposure to what’s new in the different areas of behavioral science. I also love how Andy keeps it fresh with new series (e.g., SciComm summer gives a great overview of the intersection between science and journalism). Opinion Sciences is definitely worth your time, whether you are a professor, graduate student, or just interested in how people think.

    The real deal!
You can find a lot of behavioral science podcasts if you’re into this kind of thing, but few of the hosts are actual researchers. Andy is the real deal! His questions are coming from great knowledge, but he still makes the content easy to understand.

Could not recommend this podcast more highly!
I am a big fan of psychology podcasts, so I have listened to a variety of different ones. Hands down, this is the best. Andy gives all the important and fascinating information you could want on the topic, and he does so in a very easy to understand and approachable manner. Regardless if you're new to psychology or an expert looking for more insight, this is the podcast to go to. Plus, Andy's voice is super pleasant to listen to, making the whole experience an enjoyable one!

    Helpful for aspiring researchers
Thanks, Dr. Luttrell! I really enjoyed most of the episodes on this podcast. I’m in a psych masters program and looking to apply for a PhD program this fall. This podcast has been feeding me valuable and in-depth info on some of the current topics in social psych and marketing science. It’s also a great platform to learn about the guests in a manner that would otherwise only be available in an admission interview.

    Insider Journalism
Andy’s one of those rare birds that integrates his passions in the most beautiful way. The podcast is like a plate with equal scoops of journalistic excellence and scholarly discussion of psychology. Always thoughtfully developed and produced, and always entertaining.

One of the best social science podcasts out there
I listen to a lot of podcasts on social science as part of my job. There are some good ones out there and a lot that are so-so. Opinion Science is at the top of the list. Andy’s approach, his knowledge, and his passion can be heard in every episode. He stays true to the science but brings in a story telling knack that makes each episode a joy to listen to. The special episode on cognitive dissonance is a masterpiece! This is what all great social science podcasts should strive for

    Interesting and Relatable
My Social Cognition teacher assigned the “Good vs. Bad” podcast to my class and I’m glad he did. I really enjoy hearing from people who are working in real time to answer big questions. I can’t wait to hear more!

    Great behavioral science podcast
Excellent in both content and style. Topics covered are of broad interest, but there is a great balance between popular appeal and in-the-weeds scientific detail. Dr. Andy Luttrell is a natural, and I look forward to listening every week.

    Riveting podcast
I find this podcast to be very interesting and refreshing. I especially enjoyed the conversation between Andy and Dr. Zak Tormala, during which they discussed certainty and confidence, and the correlation between certainty and persuasion. I will be listening to many more podcasts with Andy and Zak!
