MarytereseWHERE ARE YOU HOLDING COURT…I MISS YOU!Are you on hiatus or have you abandoned the podcast?

Stephanie DampmanRoland Garros into Wimbledon 🎾Thanks Patrick for your podcast coverage -> always incredible to hear from both McEnroes at the majors. On a side note, with today’s announcement of Saudi-backed LIV Golf merging with PGA Tour, is there any implication for the future of ATP/WTA tournaments? Tennis now faces, as you mentioned in yesterday’s podcast, broadcasting/streaming challenges. Is classic tennis autonomy still intact, able to withstand disruptors?

Yvonne EllenLove tennis & pickleballPodcast is great and would definitely love some inside info on the pickleball slam

bericjohnsonAwesome but need more episodesAwesome podcast. Please try to get more former and current players on and do a pod once a week.

ERPARISMy previous review was 5 starsI have loved this podcast but over the past months the pod has been inconsistent and not regularly released. Which is extremely frustrating. On top if this your the recent guest Buck Sexton! Are you kidding, giving a platform to this dangerous man? Who will come on next to talk about the world being flat? Then the MD insanely contradicting himself about Djokovic. Wasn’t the point of the ban in Australia that sports people are an example and Djokovic refusing to be vaccinated removes him as a role model? Patrick what’s going on?
-
80'sVillagerRight Wing DopeWhy would you have a right wing dope like Buck Sexton on to spout his anti-vax nonsense? Was Alex Jones unavailable?
-
Skwilcox65Buck SextonWhat happened to discussion of Djokovic?

Lurking Baby BoomerESPN coverage AustralianOpenLove your show Patrick. You are as great an interviewer and Podcast host as you were a player. Fun to discover a tennis podcast. BUT just hated the ESPN coverage of the AO. Often not enough time allowed to the matches on ESPN so we had to get creative with our DVRs’ or accidentally miss the end of the match. Kept missing great matches that you were promoting. But most infuriating is having to pay for more coverage on ESPN . So sad to not have ESPN cover more of the tournament rather than requiring fans to sign up for more streaming sites. And today, Saturday after the Women’s final, OUTRAGEOUS that the mens’ doubles finals doesn’t just come after the women’s final on ESPN. Please work on ESPN on behalf of all of us devoted tennis players and followers of the Grand Slams. If you want more fans, just don’t make it so hard and expensive and infuriating One star for ESPN. Five stars for Patrick Thanks.

Holly GodarklyInformative and organizedI enjoy the presentation and hearing from those who know their subject matter. No rambling here. Good work.

Mo Manzo ghostExcellent ShowThe podcast is super entertaining and insightful!!

Susan Steele AskewHad to turn it offMaybe I have not listened to enough episodes but the one about Novak DjokovicToday was nothing but mean and opinions. You talk like he didn’t follow the rules but the rules are that a medical exemption is part of the deal. There was no doubt which side of the aisle you guys were on. I hope Novak goes all the way and wins. There are plenty of players on his side although you say the players are against him in the locker room. Just ask Venus what she thinks.

werdigerPatrick McEnroePatrick does a terrific job interviewing his interesting guests. He is excellent and it is all fun to listen to. He is an intelligent interviewer and all the podcasts are worth listening to. Great job Patrick

MariaFAGood but needs to fix audioHi. Love your podcast but you need to fix the audio on several of your interviews, would be so much easier to understand and more pleasant to listen
-
king laverConsistently great listenPatrick does an excellent job with this podcast in so many ways. He selects guests who are experts in their field, but also articulate and engaging. The conversation is very fluid and the discussion routinely reveals something I didn’t know about the subject. The conversation is serious but also is able to stay light and personal. In these days of real division and somewhat bleak newscasts, Holding Court is deeply appreciated escape and informative listen.

24 sugar hillGreat interview with Liz!Very insightful about dear Roger. He does want to go out playing the best he can at a particular moment. I agree with you Patrick. Perhaps you can get Christopher Clarey on with you. His book on RF is out in a week. Or perhaps later after it becomes apparent what will happen with Roger’s career.

Tennis, anyone?CorrectionNovak won the bronze medal in Beijing.
-
BZASASASEOkGreat guests but Patrick likes to insert himself into the interview far too much. Let your guests talk without interrupting them. I recommend listening to a Jim Rome interview on his podcast.
-
Leslie SZGreat PodcastI always look forward to Patrick’s tennis insights, his interviews and conversations with people from all walks of life! Cheers and carry on! 🥂

dgdstuoufxPushing political agendaAnother millionaire tennis professional pushing a liberal agenda and constantly equating it with morality. These tennis professionals are in such a one-sided group think that they don’t even appear to realize that half of the United States doesn’t agree with them and would rather debate these topics in a healthy productive manner then constantly hear shallow political statements presented as fact. “Social justice” awareness is a political agenda and is not the same thing as cancer awareness or domestic abuse awareness and should not be presented as “good for America” because only half of America feels this way. Only political liberals will enjoy this podcast. Unsubscribe.

DMSassGreat Pod & Hungry For More!Great conversations with a wide variety of guests, using tennis as undergirding! PMac does a phenomenal job being an engaged interviewer, allowing his guest to say his/her piece and responding with relevant follow ups. Every time I get to the end of an episode, I’m dumbstruck that it has end! C’mon PMac, don’t just give us a fast-four match, give us a five set thriller!!
-

TBNantucketKeep it up!Love the format and the guests are fantastic. I’ve listened to many different podcasts over the years and this one has me hooked!

bbennett89What Variety! What a relaxed and interesting format. Mr. McEnroe has a really unique way to frame his interviews around the central theme of tennis that takes off quicker than his serve. And the guest offer just as much variety. There will be something for everyone whether you’re a music fan, film buff, or have your own racket. Recommended.
-
Yowza123!Mike CInteresting and varied guests. Can’t wait to see who is on next!

ToddcitoHolding CourtAs tennis player for over 40 years, it's amazing to hear how the game impacts and intertwines with other in their everyday life. I really enjoyed listening to Pat, the whole podcast conversation was easy going, and his interviewing style mad the conversation flow seamlessly.
-
scotch&donutsAbsolute ACEPat has an affable, easy way about him. Im a longtime fan of his commentating as he manages to be both professional and accessible and wildly humble. This podcast resonates for me. I’m a huge tennis fan and Pat finds really interesting guests outside the tennis world and tells the story of their love of the game. Truly well done.
