Rosalia_326Simple and concrete adviceWe are a Christian family with a four and two year-old. God has put it in my heart to keep my kids from preschool and since then we have decided to homeschool our children through their academic years. ANDUNN94Life changedI discovered Carole Joy Seid recently when she was a guest on another podcast. I’ve listened to her podcast every day and it has truly changed my outlook on so much. Truly thankful and blessed to have found her teachings and excited to see how my sweet 3 babies grow from her approach to school at home!

rachl_learningcoMy grandfather attended one of your seminars in the 90’s…My grandfather, who is an avid reader and researcher, attended one of your seminars in the early 90’s and knew your approach to learning through rich literature was what our family needed. He immediately shared your resources as well as the idea of homeschooling with his 3 daughters, who had children nearing school age and who then decided to give it a try. I am one of the grandkids who benefited from that decision! Now, as a 2nd generation homeschool mom with 4 kids, I knew none of this information until a recent phone call with him and decided to look you up, doubtful I would find you. What a pleasant surprise to see that you still actively share wisdom and experience! Thank you, thank you for your voice and life’s work which has blessed our family for generations.

Love homeschoolingHomeschool teenagerDear Carole, I am a thirteen year old boy who started homeschooling just this year. I’ve been to three private “Christian” schools and one classical charter school , and I must say that none of them hold a candle to your schooling theology. I’ve listened to many of your seminars such as the media one(I did it with my mom so I did not hear anything inappropriate), your food one and a couple others. I love what your doing and hope you keep sharing how to raise up kids who can think, read, and love God. God Bless.

Mom2twirlersHuge fan!As a homeschooling mother of 4, who is on year 12 of homeschooling, I needed encouragement. My oldest is graduating and I have one in preschool. 🫣 my two older kiddos are girls and our two little ones (prek and kinder) are boys. They are SO different and I just really needed encouragement with homeschooling my boys. Someone introduced me to Carole’s podcasts. I was so enthralled, I immediately listened to a seminar, more podcasts, bought books she recommended, etc. It was all I needed to be reminded that I can do this. And that we will do this, Lord willing, in a way that honors Him. I felt refreshed, encouraged, and like I had found my kindred spirit (no co-ops, take my guys into the church service with me, etc IYKYK) I’m just so thankful. We’ve since listened to the nutrition seminar and loved that also. I’ve been a curriculum junkie for 12 years and I feel so free being able to lay all Of that aside and just do what has always been my heart’s desire in the first place…snuggle up, read great books, teach my kids to work hard and serve well and love the Lord wholeheartedly. If we do this, we will have succeeded. Thanks Carole Joy Seid!

QueenELCLOVEI’m new to the better late than early philosophy and it’s a breath of fresh air! I’m very thankful for the way Carole articulates this method & the many tools & seminars she created to make homeschooling simply & inexpensively. I’m excited to start this new journey and see my children flourish. Her seminars are a great way to get connected with like minded people and get the colored read aloud lists that are gold! I’m always excited to share what I’m doing with others to shed light on not rushing education with children and this podcast. Thank you for all that you do!

A1m@@Encouraging and Full of InformationListening to this podcast is like a breath of fresh air. Carole Joy Seid is full of interesting information on author’s lives and how books came about. I feel like I’m in her living room having a conversation and learning so much. I’m in my 3rd year of homeschooling and I’ve been encouraged for how we’ve been doing and learning new ways of teaching.

thebudgetmavenSo encouraging!I’m a second generation homeschooler entering into my 5th year homeschooling my own children. Carole’s podcast came to me at just the right time. She really has helped me understand how simple it can be to homeschool well and still have fun. I’ve saved many episodes of this podcast for days when I need some refreshment or encouragement.

ourhomelibrarianDisappointedI greatly enjoy the ideas and valuable wisdom Carol shares through her podcast. I especially look forward to her interviews with families. With that, I was disappointed in the way that Ambleside Online was presented in episode 109. It seemed misrepresented as a program one “signs-up for” and the conversation of narration and reading were devoid of any discussion on the underlying principles of a CM education. It was also disheartening to hear what seemed to be the very specific and pointed discrediting of an all volunteer, arduously researched and developed labor of love by homeschool pioneers.
-
NoraHLS92Joyful and encouraging podcastCarole has been a guide and inspiration to me for many years, and having this podcast as a weekly dose of her wisdom has blessed me.

Bridget FengKeeps Me Coming Back for MoreI must subscribe to 20+ podcasts on homeschooling and this is the show that I find myself coming back to time and time again. So much wisdom and good advices for how to homeschool and parenting I especially love her book recommendations, not just for children but also for adults. This is an invaluable resource for Christian families that want to raise Godly children.

MPCCRZHope for a joyful and peaceful homeschool life!I attended my first Carole Joy Seid conference yesterday. I’ll be honest…..prior to when I signed up a month ago I had never even heard of her, even though I’ve been homeschooling for almost four years. What a joy to listen to her! She truly does make you feel like you can successfully homeschool your children without being run ragged. I just started listening to the podcasts and I can’t wait to make my way through every single one!

TellMeAStoryAgainTimeless Wisdom from a Christian WorldviewCarole’s podcast episodes are always encouraging and worth the 20+ minutes to listen to each and every week. She will edify the mom, the dad and child through her Biblical worldview from how to select the best books for your children to how to care for yourself, your marriage and family. Carole clearly has a heart for the Lord, but she is never preachy. In her gentle and sweet words, she will convict you on issues such as media, pornography or how to eat healthy. Spend time with Carole and you will never regret the time spent.

jessmstoutEncouraging for a mama with young kidsI have been listening to Carole’s podcast for about a year and it has been so encouraging to me! I have a 3 month old, 2.5 year old and 5 year old. I stay home full time with these precious gifts from God. While I love my role as mother and homemaker, it can be wearisome and lonely and Carole’s show brings interviews and education that refreshes my soul each week! We haven’t formally started our homeschool journey yet, but I’m able to implement so many principles and tips I learn from her content. I highly recommend taking a listen! You’ll leave wanting to share a cup of tea with Carole and her wonderful friends!

Bryan DeWireA Compelling Approach to LifeMy wife and I will never forget May 4, 2013—the day we first heard Carole Joy Seid articulate her compelling educational philosophy. April_ScottJust what I neededI’m a new homeschooling mom of 6 and 4 year old girls and will add another daughter to the mix soon. I was stressed on what to do, struggling to find good resources and was overwhelmed. Then I was introduced to Carole’s podcast and her method. I listened for a while and realized (as I gently moved toward her model) it was just what I needed. I don’t have to struggle to find reliable literature or resources anymore. I’m blessed so much by Carole and her podcast - and I think my kids are really reaping the benefit, too. Thank you so much!
-
Momma123newIt REALLY does make homeschooling simpleI’m two years into homeschooling and I’m so glad I found Carole and her helpful podcast. I drank the koolaid and basically do everything she suggests in my own homeschool. Why try and reinvent the wheel? I’m so grateful for the wealth of free info she regularly shares on her podcast and it has been worth it to spend the money on her seminar downloads, too!

travelswithteaSo Rich, Inspiring & Therapeutic!I first heard Carole on RAR and was blown away! I quickly dove into her resources and love the work she does. I was so happy to discover she had a podcast. It’s wonderful! I noticed the links in the podcast notes for the booklist from each episode isn’t working. That would be so helpful but in the meantime I’ll be taking notes. :-)
