Technical analyst murrins geo political takes
David murrin says hamas is asking for israel to kill its civillians. Maybe expand on that! Interesting Elliottwave technical analysis.

    GOAT
    Grant is simply the GOAT.

    Zeihan
Peter Zeihan must be living in an alt universe. His description of the Ukraine disaster sounds straight out of the Biden/ Nuland approved narrative briefing guide for gullible or worse journalists. Smart guy for sure but spinning some tall tales but of course never mentioning the color revolution sponsored by his buddies that feed him information. He also failed to mention at all the bushie/obama push to ram NATO right up his (vlad) Pooter. Note to Peter: You and yours have left Russia no choice with your NATO ambitions. There will be a land bridge to the warm water ports. The economy is not in collapse in Russia. And you will fail in your never ending war fever leaving Ukraine a charnel house with no men left behind. The EU will be in shambles when your kind are through.

    Grant and Luke
“Brilliant” is overused, but not in this case—Gromen is perhaps the finest macro analyst now writing, and Williams the finest macro interviewer currently broadcasting.
  • MariafromMadrid
    Educational and eye-opening
This podcast is a true macro gem. Latest episode with Luke Gromen is a combination of two sharped minds providing their insights and perspectives of what is happening and coming. I couldn’t recommended enough

They Parse Signals from the Noise
Devoting a podcast to this agenda is a noble cause. Hubs like this, where opinions (both agreeable and contrarian) are allowed to be heard and respected are exceedingly scarce in this strange leviathan that is modernity.

    Great material
Grant Williams has a lot of great material that is worth subscribing to. He has a great community with a deeper dive into today’s markets.

Can barely hear his website podcast. Wanker!

    Great
Great podcast. Paywall was likely a huge mistake. Don’t fault Grant for monetizing his work, but other ways would have increased reach while likely increased revenue

    Must Listen
Grant Williams may be the best host/interviewer in the business and his own views on macro are always worth knowing. Fleck is a credible voice and contributor on his own. Great guests, always optimally facilitated, usually very entertaining. Never miss it. Actionable for me more than other podcasts. Thanks Grant & Fleck!!

    Great Start!
Great start to your podcast with Dr. Malmgren. I look forward to listening to the rest of your series! Thank you.

Want to desperately support quality podcasts
Ben and Grant have some of the most intelligent conversations with an extremely sharp cast of business and finance experts anywhere. No commercials, no fluff, just the distilled topic of choice, and interesting insights that sometimes take multiple listens to fully appreciate. However his recent decision to put the content behind a website paywall that doesn’t allow you listen on the go is frustrating. This just isn’t how podcasts are consumed. As soon as Apple allows for paid podcast subscriptions I’ll gladly resubscribe.

Excellent podcast with one glaring exception.
    Get rid of Ben Hunt.

    Fantastic Show, Difficult Platform
I was fortunate to discover the Grant Williams podcasts via Apple podcasts. Just consistently excellent interviews. I was happy to become a paying subscriber because his product is so good. The one unfortunate aspect of this move is how frustrating it is to navigate his website and cleanly access his podcasts. His podcasts on Apple were always easy to access on my phone, even if the phone went into energy saving mode, or if you had to close the page, or you needed to open a new page, such as when you needed to navigate in your car. NOW, the podcast continually stops or closes whenever you have to access another page or the phone goes into energy saving mode. I am constantly having to reopen the page to restart the podcast. It makes it impossible to listen to the podcast while driving or when working out, which is when I would plan to listen to his podcasts. Now, you can only listen to the podcast if you are sitting in front of a computer. I may cancel my subscription just because it is too frustrating to listen at the times I’ve set out to learn from his interviews. This is really unfortunate.

    Perceptive, measured
Thoughtful, considered, balanced. Grant Williams “ne plus ultra”.

    The Major Flaw
The biggest flaw with this podcast is that I have to pause it to write this review; I’m simply unequipped to appreciate the tsunami of top quality, well thought out information that is being delivered and write a review at the same time. I’ve been listening to Grant since before Real Vision, while at Real Vision, and was excited to see his return to podcasting. That said Fleck is both smart and there is something quite funny about hearing him ask over and over about the Japanese central bank issuing a zero coupon 100 year bond to cover their debt. There is so much “news” of the day out there, but it’s truly difficult to find this level of long form intellectual discussion on most topics. I’m truly appreciative of the podcast you all have put together. Additionally, the price seems so unreasonably low that it seems like you have purpose of helping people understand the world as part of your mission, not just making money, even though that is never stated. I consider myself very lucky to have stumbled across your podcast years ago and just wish I could find similarly informative content across for other areas as well. My best to the team. Nick

    Should be free
These should be free. No one has time to sign up to get a full podcast especially when competing caste have the same guest for FREE.
  • KenRNYC
    Phenomenal!
I’m currently listening to the end game series. Grant and Bill are terrific together. Even though i’ve heard many interviews from these rotating guests before (for example, on RealVision), there is always something new to take away. Grant handles the discussions with such class and professionalism.
  • Darvgt
In a world of great free content not worth the $$$
I was a fan of the podcast but think the move to put this behind a paywall is a mistake. There is already an overwhelming volume of similar pods / content with most of the same guests on a rotation tour. Nobody has time to curate and listen to all and any friction between search and listen will mean listeners just go elsewhere. Finding a business model to make this sustainable is fine but charging for content that wants to be free is not a winning strategy.

    This is the BEST!
This podcast is the best! I remember reading Bill’s book before the GFC when he specifically predicted the wheels would fall off the Fannie Mae bus. Now, when I heard Grant and Bill had a podcast, I did not pass go and did not collect $200. Rather, I locked myself in and started listening. The guests on this podcast are amazing. You will not be disappointed. Happy listening!

Important for everyone to educate themselves
I discovered this podcast and Grant during lockdown. It has been one of the most important things/messages I have received in my adult life. I’m not an investor. Just a regular professional. I already lived through break up of Soviet Union and was young then. How does one prepare and protect himself? There are no easy answers but at least you know the possibilities and can dig for more information and follow some very smart people. Thank you

    The end game- Paul Singer
If people only knew what a big deal it is to get Mr. Singer to chat and share his incredible insights. Kudos to Grant

    Just excellent
Wonderful content. Grant does great work making complex subjects accessible despite that he’s clearly interviewing brilliant people who are thinking about their areas of expertise on a different level than the rest of us. Keep it up!

    Game theory
Really enjoy how thought provoking these shows are with intriguing insights from different investing gurus. Takes you beyond investing to political, societal and financial impacts to various outcomes on where we are headed as a society. I see it at times as a sort of game theory on the economy. I rewind often, but the time goes quick.

Grant Williams is simply the best. I would hate to miss one of his podcasts as they’re packed full of information and insights you will have a hard time finding elsewhere. His co-hosts are brilliant and his guests are first rate! And he just seems like a good dude! Grant, please keep it going!

Taking Grant Along for a Run....
I run nearly every day for at least an hour and every time Grant has a new episode, I take him along! I hope he does not mind the workout! This show is the right mix of education and entertainment for me! I know the run for the day will be better when I wake up and see a new episode had been released!

    Excellent
My daughter put me on to this podcast. The first one I listened to was the Fred Hickey interview. On the basis of that and the quality of other guests, I'll give 5 stars.
  • Davesporsche
    Great outlook
This is a real review: great poscast. I’ve noticed these guys don’t have to many episodes but when they upload you can re listen multiple times and keep learning.

    Astonishing
I thought I was pretty sophisticated in my understanding of investing and the financial markets. Grant is a master interviewer who didn’t get in the way of his brilliant guests. Best finance pod I listen to.

    Glad I found this!
Grant and Bill do a great job of helping me rest in what I think I know. I tell everyone about this podcast. Just the best!
  • johningr
    Great podcast!
I am such an idiot — in my attempts to rate the show, I first entered 3 stars, and then I followed up by mistakenly putting in 4 stars. On the third attempt I finally got it right with 5 stars. At any rate, perhaps this is just my way of saying this one with Hickey is worth 12 stars.I have read Hickey for years now, and this podcast was excellent!!

    Fred H interview
Thanks, guys! I may finally get rid of my Real Vision subscription (I was one of the original subscribers) and add well researched long form insights, such as Fred’s journal, to my TTMYGH sub :-). Keep up the great work!

Masterful exploration of all realms of Financial Markets
Grant has a stellar list of guests, and a masterful way of bringing out each one’s best insights. Never an episode to be missed! And I can’t help calling attention to the MARVELOUS account of his recent “Two Men in a Boat” adventures with ‘The Captain”, in a recent issue (27 Sept’20) of his equally invaluable ‘TTMYGH’ bi-weekly newsletter. The Wisdom expressed by the Captain in that issue, and in part two of his marine adventures, which appeared in the following bi-weekly issue around mid-October, by themselves are certainly worth an annual TTMYH subscription! Those issues are only exceeded by his masterful April 2018 RealVision interviews with Tony Deden – who seems to share The Captain’s sublimely wise take on the world…

Helping me sense what can’t be seen
The End Game series explores what can hardly imagined through the minds of seers of truth if truth could be seen. I wish each interview were longer, and that I had time to listen to each one again. (I’ll make the time.) It’s a mind-bending experiences, giving me some tiny glimpse of operating on the curved space that Mike Green talks about in Episode 3. Like all the others, that episode can’t be missed.

Jim Rogers beginning to sound a little worn...
After a series of stimulating conversations with Messrs Grant, Cole Green, Napier etc. this was a bit of a letdown. Mostly retread stuff although his angle on the Hong Kong demonstrations and dissent was interesting if a little jarring....
  • xcxcbygmwxyn
    Great rehash
Who has an hour and half to listen to the same stuff every week

As thoughtful and perceptive as you will find in a podcast
Grant, and each of his well-considered co-hosts, not only bring you decades of hands-to-the-wheel experience in international finance, but also a deeply humanist perspective on the institutions of finance and the roles that they play in our lives. While a natural contrarian, Grant also helps to peal back the onion on why the official line is only the tip of the iceberg, to help listeners understand the role that critical institutions play in determining who gets what and why. There is no better source of multi-modal insight than this free podcast.

    Initial reaction
First and only episode I’ve heard to date was with Jim Rogers who has been a favorite for decades. I have read his books and hold him high esteem as an investor and a person.
  • @CRWNYC
Grant has captivated me yet again
Glad to hear Grant back behind the mic. We missed him after transitioning from the Real Vision podcast and platform. The long form content, focused deep dives and network co-conspirators cannot be matched. With Fleck at the helm now as well, the show is rich, has deep knowledge across many areas and is entertaining to boot. Thank you two for putting in the time and for making your work available to us!
