Professor David Hunter is a rheumatology clinician researcher whose main research focus has been clinical and translational research in osteoarthritis. He is the Florance and Cope Chair of Rheumatology and Professor of Medicine at University of Sydney and the Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney, Australia. He is ranked as the worlds leading expert in osteoarthritis on Expertscape.com since 2014.

    Dr. Virginia Kraus, a leading rheumatologist and researcher She never said what biomarkers she is researching in a phase III clinical trial. Not much use without that. She did mention the panel is $250 and I realize it isn’t commercially available, but what is she researching?! I did an internet search and followed the study links, but they are talking about different things. Is it HDL, LPS from bacteria? Details are important.

    I was told that I have severe OA. I found angry@arhritis online. It is a very good podcast. Your podcast was discussed so I subscribed. I had so much run around with GPs for multiple years and got nowhere for my leg/hip/groin pain. Saw a PA. She got me x-rayed and by that time it showed severe OA. Thank you for this podcast for making me feel that i am not alone being in chronic pain and hopefully with science, help will come.

    David always hits squarely on important topic’s regarding the care and treatment for those dealing with osteoarthritis. His guests are exceptional and come equipped with relevant helpful information. One of the best podcasts out there and I always am entertained and educated when I listen. Great stuff!
