I have a very complex background spiritually. There has been very conservative religious beliefs in my family, then switched to very spiritual, to melding of the two and beyond. This podcast has opened me up to a new way of thinking and guided me on my budding journey as a witchling. I’ve started from the beginning and am still working through over the last year. I love the friendship and banter between Maria and Laura and often feel like I’m present for a fun gab sesh with old friends. Thank you for creating an inclusive safe place for people like me who are slowly opening that broom closet. Sending positivity and gratitude your way.

Your story about the giant dog reminded me of something that happened in my childhood. Now to preface we did have a dog at the time but he was an Australian Shepherd and he was an outside dog mainly but when it got cold he came inside. We had a porch like area that had 3 doors. One lead outside, one lead to a set of stairs leading to the basement. And the other had 3 stairs leading to the fridge and then through a door into the main house. The main house door was always shut and locked at night. So one night I was having trouble sleeping and since my dad was away at the time I went and slept with my mum. I had just crawled into bed and was about to fall asleep now that I felt safe when I heard rustling from about my head (we were sleeping at the foot of the bed so it was easier for my mum to take care of my sister as she was a newborn at the time) my brother was still asleep on the bottom bunk of the room we shared I was 7 he was 5. Well I remember looking up and seeing a giant wolf like dog with its teeth barred standing in the door way creeping towards me growling ominously. I became instantly frozen in fear. By the time I was able to move it was hovering over me about to strike the enter coming from it was terrifying. I quickly snapped out of it and threw the blanket over my head I shut my eyes waiting for it to attack while begging it to go away. I waited 3 minutes before I peeked out from under the blanket but it was gone so I woke my mum and she ran around the house like a mad woman trying to find this dog but came up empty handed and said it must have been my imagination. It took me a long time to be able to fall asleep after that. It’s stuck with me since. That’s not even the only thing I experienced in that house, but it was probably the most terrifying.

I stumbled on this podcast a few weeks ago. I listen to it in the car and at work and I’m already on episode 88. The closer I get to the newest episodes the more I feel each episode flows like a private conversation and I find myself making comments and talking to my phone lol. I love love love true crime episodes. listener stories make it feel more like we as listeners are part of the friends circle rather than just an audience and I appreciate that

Scary murders, story’s from random people, and witchcraft. I don’t know how I stop listening I would like to ask one question though how did you find what witch you were like how did you find out that your a green witch. I need a little help with that I think I’m a green witch but I don’t know ☺️🙃

I started from the first episodes. I really like the topics. It’s so hard to listen to in the beginning because there is so much extra content that is off topic. I had to skip half an episode to get to the main topics. I am looking forward to newer episodes and hope the editing is better. Thank you for making this. I will keep trying to get to the newer content.

I just started your podcast today it is Thursday, April 28,2022 I have some experiences with spirits and it specifically at my mom and dad‘s house salad with my aunt and they live in a trailer and my mom and dad had my mama and my papa passed away not too long ago maybe a year but every time I go over there I’ll feel somebody holding my shoulder or hovering over me or whispering in my ear and it’s just kind of creepy but I know they’re there talking to me and I don’t know what to do about it and I was hoping maybe you can mention that in one of your Podcasts maybe.🙃🙂

My all time favorite podcast. Love Maria and Melanie so funny but also informative.

I started listening to this podcast about a month ago and wish I had discovered it sooner. Maria and Laura are so much fun to listen to and they are also extremely considerate about ethics and different cultures. While I was originally drawn to the show for the witchy info, I also appreciate the true crime and spooky stories and I especially enjoy the listener episodes. These ladies make me feel as if I am sitting right there in the room with them, which to me is the ultimate sign of a great podcast. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these two!

i came for the true crime and paranormal stories, i stayed for the amazing hosts! laura and maria are so intelligent, well-spoken, and hilarious. it’s clear they really care about what they’re doing here. definitely give it a listen!!

I recently found this podcast and I am enthralled. Not only is it delightful and hilarious to listen to the conversation between these two friends, but this was the first resource that helped me feel like I could really begin the journey of figuring out my own witchyness, and they have helped me begin to develope my own processes and rituals to deepen the connection I already feel with this world and its unseen realms. Okay so I love witchy themed podcasts, but this one I could just not get into. It’s so slow, it’s sloppy, they’re boring to listen to, and they have like no chemistry. I literally sat there cringing listening to this. I just can’t. Just because you can start a podcast doesn’t mean you should.

I am a new witch and hearing these magnificent women have the same curiosity and very relatable struggles and self-doubts. I expanded on my knowledge while coming along with them through their lives and witches who are learning and growing in their craft. My only difficulty is that the audio editing makes for rough/ sometimes unpleasant listening. It’s a normal problem, so my only problem is not having some of the mumbled asides cut out. It takes a lot of trial and error to get it right, but the overall listening experience was good!!! And the content definitely makes it worth the listen as well.
