    Stunning settling
The first time I heard prentis speak I stopped moving. I just stopped and started breathing and I can’t tell you how much that means to my nervous system these days but it’s a gift I can’t quantify. The delicate skillful navigating and profound warmth and care of what is made and unmade like watching the great nanas of the world dance and bake in their kitchen while I watch them in silent awe… complexity that is sifted through w questions too thoughtful and deep… curiosities of a human being that calls to the mysterious wyrd glorious heart in my chest and beats back a rhythm of celebration I can claim- me too- my tribe my pleasure my passion- lt us keep becoming!

    Deep —- wise —- thoughtful
I have listened to every episode and I can say without a doubt I am on the edge of my seat for more. I highly suggest you subscribe to the Patreon if you can. Prentice’s work is on the cusp. Their sense of boundaries and individuation and a life well lived is very inspiring. Not to mention the first three guests also fall into these categories of wise —inspiring & enlightened beings I’m in for the long-haul keep putting yourself out there and I will keep showing up and spreading this vital education to all I know. Deeply grateful.

    New favorite
I loved Finding Our Way so much, and waited for Becoming the People with eager anticipation. I am so glad Prentis is back sharing podcasts with us, and if this first conversation is an indication, they’re giving us the medicine we need in this moment. Deep bows of gratitude to the whole team. LOVE the theme music, too!

Listened twice and bookmarked to return again
I was so sad when Finding Our Way ended and Becoming was worth the wait. This first conversation with adrienne maree brown touched me to the point that I turned around and listened again. I cried, I took notes, I stopped and felt my feet. Highly recommend and looking forward to your book arriving soon! Deep gratitude for your work, stillness and generous heart.

    The trampoline…
…so the thing about the trampoline is it’s fun! How to build the world up through the cracks, so tender, caring, loving, inclusive, that is such a better party that the most of us, seeing the trampolinists holding hands, altogether, jumping higher and higher, peels of laughter ringing throughout the land, we jump over the wall, migrate there in a mass humurmuration? Yes? Please!

As soon as I finish an episode, I listen again
I could listen to each episode many times, and plenty of times I have. Each line from both Prentis and their guest contains whole worlds. I am so glad the podcast is back in this new format and gratefully look forward to listening. Thank you!

    Found a Home
All my life I’ve wanted to “go home.” Doing my best to be and do all I could to see, feel and free others especially our littlest and most vulnerable. Becoming the People resonates with every inspired journal entry, every deep cellular flash of knowing, every soulsoma connection with the animate, especially humans I’ve been witness too and every now and then tolerated embodiment for. And now it is safe…to land and feel…and work…and be in this body thanks to you’re work and expression in this world. Yes, perhaps we are a soul in a body, but more true we are a body in a collective soul. Thank you for making the invisible visible. Grateful.

Freedom, evolving consciousness, somatic awareness, community, social structures
& Home-coming All of the things. The conversations here prompted reconnection within. I felt real again. Like other people care about expanding beyond our current perceived limitations; in a way that places our embodied experience, our satisfaction, our shared experiences, loving awareness at the forefront.

    Grounded Movement
When *thinking harder* isn't enough to bring change, Prentis reminds me to land in the wisdom of movement teachers and actually receive that wisdom into my body. The grounded space they hold with their guests invites me to ground into myself, my life, and my next right action.

    So Uplifted
Love the show. The exploration, dignity, curiosity, all of it. The episode with Sonya Renee Taylor - wow. PS If Prentis is still looking for love songs to self (or to/from True Self/soul , as I think of it), I suggest some Celine Dion, eg “Because You Loved Me.” Actually, it’s fun to listen to any love songs as though from soul to self or vice versa. Many thanks.

I love this podcast so much. The wisdom that is shared and generated between Prentis and the guests is so vital, so clarifying, so life-giving. The loving energy that comes through Prentis’s thoughtful questions, reflections, and excitement is equally nourishing and inspiring. I listen to most of the episodes at least twice, once while taking a walk and then once where I can take notes! Such a powerful guide to where we are now and where we can go together.
