    Gratitude
People accusing Fr. Martin of “inappropriate” relationship with his landlady, a significant number of priests have companion relationships (whether gay or straight) & secret families that are simply kept on the down-low. Raised by a strict Roman Catholic from a long line of Jesuits (my father was born in 1909), but born in 1966, last of the siblings. I’ve had my issues with the church throughout my life, I do not throw the baby out with the murky water of misogyny & forced assimilation (& genocide) of indigenous. I’m grateful for many gifts the relationship I formed with Christ. That said, I incorporated ‘Hostage to the Devil’ in my masters thesis of therapy including Paranormal & Trauma relationship. I’m enjoying this immensely.
