In the “World Without Sharks”, all the advice is from a woman that self promotes her company “black and marine science”, making it about her race and personal agenda. Aside from self promotion taking away attention from the topic, she sounded so unprofessional and unknowledgeable, it was cringe (see around 23:45 of the episode). Not surprised, the recent episodes all make this podcast sound more like a spoof than actual science. Shame on discovery.

I used to love this podcast! Luke Tipple did an amazing job. I appreciated the interviews and always felt like I learned so much. Now in 2024 with the new host and format, it feels so childish and boring. I listened to first few episodes of 2024 and couldn’t take any more. Go back and listen to old episodes, they are far superior and actually worthwhile.

My daughter and I love shark week and are excited to learn there’s a podcast!

The podcast is about sharks and the intro music is heavy metal. What more does a listener need? Maybe more sharks and more metal. I’d rate it 12 stars if I could. Please keep these episodes coming.

This is the best, most informative podcast on sharks and marine science and business. Luke and his guests break down a very emotion filled subject with sound, scientific information. Wish that this was a year round podcast! Thank you for all that you do to inform the public about this most amazing species. 💗🦈

I so appreciate the fun yet deeply ethical and research based approach in this podcast. There is genuine respect for and deep knowledge about sarks. It is refreshing to hear hear the host deftly remind listeners of facts and verified research compared to generalisations. Great stuff.

Love this podcast! I just listened to the “Shark Killing Tournaments” episode and I’m blown away. The host is excellent and you can tell he’s extremely knowledgable and genuinely passionate about sharks. I appreciate well researched shows/great interviews and can honestly say you’ve gained a fan!

Just about a week before shark week, I started getting the hype for the love of sharks all over again. And from listening to this podcast and watching multiple videos on YouTube and reading multiple articles on google search, got me hyped for sharks even more because I learned so much more than I knew before about these animals. The host of this podcast is phenomenal and knowledgeable. Keep it up and looking forward to the next episode!!!

So this guy goes on and on about how sharks evolved. He talks a lot about evolution. Then he goes on to say the shark is a beautifully designed animal. Then, shortly after he says they were built to swim fast. Haha! Evolution is made up, dude. Your vocabulary says so and you didn’t even realize it.
