This is my favorite podcast… However, when Warren Pretorius ranted that those who say “all lives matter” instead of “black lives matter” “don’t get (their white privilege)” I turned off that podcast … the only one I didn’t listen to all the way through… Maybe his comment is in the context/zeitgeist of apartheid SA?… however it makes no sense in contemporary America… this kind of apology breeds the cult of victimology which is scarring to all people… Is there racism? … sure there are racists both black and white and everything in between… but is there systemic racism?… NO… except for affirmative action… We are all God’s children… immutable characteristics like skin color are irrelevant… so to borrow from MLK, let’s be judged not by the color of our skin, but the content of our character…

I am a student of the game and this is a brilliant podcast . We are Lucky to have this. .

The podcasts are great. The combination of Greatbase.com, instagram posts, Facebook content and podcasts is an amazing resource for anyone interested in understanding tennis development.

Steve and Andy are genuine giving and knowlegable professionals that anyone who wants to coach should listen to all the podcasts and digest the words for life. As a Vic Braden pupil via Frank Rowan in Liverpool I have dedicated my life and career to Vic Braden Steve Smithand Andy carrying on the fundamental of tennis biomechanics. I have studied tennis more than I care to admit. Steve & Andy are the real deal. No gimmicks, shortcuts, or smooth talk. They thoroughly understand technical skills and how to develop them through repetition. I have never met or heard of them prior to this podcast but it’s clear, as I have listened to every episode, they know what they are doing with a child who has a racket in their hand.

I love all the little stories Steve Smith sprinkles in and you just can't argue the fact-based approach being communicated by these guys! Take the time to listen and enjoy...it's worth it!

I highly recommend Steve and Andy's podcast series. Incredible information that would be helpful for the player, the parent and the coach. It's a real treat to listen to these's guys share their vast experiences and training in the sport through their entertaining stories .

Both educational and enjoyable the greatbase podcast connects the dots between years of tennis teaching and systems. A good mix of interviews, guests and topics has made each podcast unique. A must listen for tennis parents, players and coaches with some great content for non tennis enthusiasts as well.
