MJ🧝🏻♀️My favorite podcastRealfoodology is a must-listen for anyone who cares about wellness, food, and living intentionally. I’ve learned more about nutrition, holistic health, and the truth behind what we’re putting in our bodies from this podcast than from years of googling and scrolling. Courtney brings on such a wide range of knowledgeable guests—scientists, doctors, farmers, thought leaders—and somehow makes even the most complex topics super digestible (pun intended). I love how she’s not afraid to challenge the status quo, but she always does it with curiosity and compassion. It’s the perfect mix of science-backed info, real talk, and empowering conversations that make me want to take better care of myself. Every episode leaves me inspired and better informed—and honestly, I’ve gone back to re-listen to a few because there’s just so much good stuff packed in. Highly recommend for anyone looking to be more intentional with their health and food choices!

Koria G.Misinformation.Not real nutrition science. Not evidence based. Complete misinformation. Pro-trump propaganda. This is not food activist.

Skiing mogul maniacLife changingThis podcast has changed my life for the better. It is not too late to make a change and be healthy for life. Thank you Courtney for helping me jump on the health bandwagon. I want to live at my best today and throughout retirement :)

Heidi1088Trump supporterI want to learn about health - but she’s just pushing justification for Trump.

ElyseSaraReally great podcastThis podcast is awesome! I think the guests are very interesting and informative. I know these topics can be tough to discuss these days and I appreciate Courtney’s willingness to put herself out there.

HilBaldwinLove this showI listen to the show every week! Thanks for bringing this content to us. I have been “infertile” for a decade and just wanted to say as part of the regular screening for infertility they do MMR immunity. I have been vaccinated twice have 0% immunity. Actually, most of the people I know that have done the same testing are not immune. So I think people need to totally second guess their reality 🩷

WlauracateHands down my favorite podcast!Courtney is so knowledgeable and inquisitive. I have been listening to every episode for the past year, and I truly feel like she is fighting for people to have the right to make informed decisions about their health—something that is crucial for society to heal and prevail. I don’t feel she is biased at all; she fully advocates for people to engage in critical thinking and make their own informed decisions. I hate that she is suddenly being fully discredited and criticized simply because she is part of the MAHA movement. I hate Trump’s rhetoric and most of what he stands for, but it’s really sad that people are attacking someone who genuinely cares about improving the health of this country just because they voted differently than them. The left is always screaming that the right is part of a cult and brainwashed, yet they are blind to how brainwashed and cult-like they also are. I hope to see more people in this world renounce political party allegiance and instead engage in more critical thinking. Let’s question everything and hold politicians accountable, no matter what party they belong to. Thank you for everything you are fighting for, Courtney. We deserve the right to question authority and seek truth. We should have the right to make informed decisions for our families. —A very angry and frustrated liberal

Hoff Squad MamaLove this podcast!Thank you for opening my eyes to what is really in our food. I am obsessed now with learning how to read labels and learn about the ingredients that are going into the foods. I am changing me and my family’s diet to be real foods (and organic as much as possible ) and get rid of all the junk/dye-filled/glyphosate processed foods. I am so thankful for your knowledge and passion. You are changing my family’s lives for the better!

Very Informed ConsumerSpews Misinformation & Thinks Nothing About the Harm She CausesFirst, Courtney’s tone throughout many of her podcast is one of complete arrogance. Second, she will not and does not listen to views that do not completely align with her non-scientific beliefs. She looks to anecdotal data to support her angry tirades. She uses social media and her mean-girl personality on anyone who slightly disagrees with her, and I cannot emphasize enough how much she talks down to people on a regular basis. She constantly makes digs about the state of California, which does have challenges, but not everyone who lives here hates the government. The lack of empathy for those who can’t afford everything organic and to spend thousands of hours making meals from scratch demonstrates just how out of touch she is with true, hardworking American families.

K. B. SimsMAGA/MAHA Cult memberThis woman has officially joined the MAGA/MAHA cult and it’s quite frankly, sickening. She has admitted to being a single-issue voter and that tells me she knows nothing about government or politics. Her cult leader says he loves the undereducated/uneducated. Also, her racism is starting to show. Why would she feel the need to call out our first and so far, only Black President? She used to give sound advice but she’s now caught up in her little bit of fame she’s latching onto and it’s scary. We are in the find out phase of Trump’s presidency and we shall see how it pans out for her and the other cult followers.

Cleanie4FantasticI happened to see a clip on social media of the host speaking in DC about our food and immediately went to my podcasts to check out an episode. I chose the Jillian Michaels and enjoyed every minute of it! Looking over many of the episode titles I’m very excited to dive into all of them.
-
sherexlexFor idiotsAnother MAGA podcast with no substance in fact.
-
Mission:impactQuality podcastEnjoyed my first episode on Mold Toxicity with guest Mike Feldstein! What a golden nugget of so much information. Felt very encouraged and not overwhelmed with “what to do now!” Looking forward to listening to you on a regular basis. Thanks for doing what you do! -Brandy Steeves

RozvivaHard PassCourtney seems lost. Not really sure what her actual credentials are or what she does besides paid endorsements of health products. Vapid. Vague. Short on facts. MAHA must be good for bizness. Nothing here you can’t get from more informed health professionals
-
kehyariLoveLove your podcast, especially the episode with Jillian Michaels!! 😍🤩
-
EmiLu MWanted to likeI want to like this podcast and I think there need to be critical and honest conversations about the US food system, but the conversation on politics lost me. If Courtney stuck to the facts there would be enough there; instead, there was a lot of unfounded, personal opinion (and contraction— he says what he means, but also ignore what he says, it’s hyperbole?—you cannot have it both ways). It just hurts the whole conversation regarding food. People on both sides want food change. How about stepping above the fray and not falling for the political game.
-
Aunt EmiliGreat episode!Fantastic conversation with Jillian Michaels! Loved it! A must listen

ShacharWHow Have I Only Now Found This Podcast?I've been on a healthy food and lifestyle journey for a while, and although I consider myself pretty knowledgeable, I find myself coming back to this podcast again and again. Courtney’s knowledge and unique style—engaging, thought-provoking, and compassionate—combined with fascinating guests and topics, make this a fantastic podcast that I’d recommend to anyone who cares about these issues! Thank you, Courtney, for being a sane voice in this space and standing up for what you believe in.
-
lollllllyuMisinformationShe exaggerates and spreads misinformation to prove her point, way too many ads, some products she promotes has natural flavors
-
Jambi46nn2Great show wayyyyy to many adsI love the show but the amount of ads is a little ridiculous, the first 15 minutes were just ads and then theres ads all throughout the show. Great show but please no body wants to listen to 15+ minutes of ads.

AudpantsThe best general health podI’ve been following Courtney’s health blog and podcast for years. She is THE BEST. So accessible & articulate & honest. She has changed her tune on a few things over the years as she gathers her own knowledge, which requires courage. Every time I listen to her pod, I learn something new. I feel like we’re buds. I’ll be a lifelong listener.

fig momLove this podcastI found this show while searching food babe interviews. That was such a good show and now I listen to this podcast.
-
lightskinkxnInformative & HonestCourtney is so insightful. She has a wealth of knowledge and does her part by sharing it with the rest of us. I appreciate her fight to get us healthy. This podcast means so much to me. Honestly, I have learned so much!

PoppyPodcastListenerListen, but follow with a grain of saltStumbled upon this podcast and Courtney some months back. I generally find her interviews interesting and informative, and I’m very in favor of a healthier food system. However, I agree with the reviewer who noticed her becoming reactionary and sharing information that doesn’t feel fact checked, and even sensationalized. This particularly is the case on her instagram. I recall an incident with calling out a salt brand some weeks ago. So, I would not take everything she shares at face value. But I’ll still keep listening for now in hopes that her podcast remains steady.

Mariana1925Best podcast! There’s a few podcasts I will not miss and Realfoodology is one of them. Courtney is so smart, interesting, fun, relatable and cool! She has great guests and the flow is just great. Having fun and getting informed at the same time. Great vibes!

Momto2EaglesAppreciate the education in layman’s wordsI just want take a moment to thank you both for such an incredible mind blowing interview. All of us know pesticides are no good, companies are making us sick, they’re then profiting on meds to supposedly make us a better. But, of course many of us don’t understand why and how, so we chose to ignore it. I know once I understand it’s very hard for me to turn a blind eye. I’m sorry Zen your family had to endure such evil all for the almighty dollar. It’s very sad how humans can treat other humans. Your courageous and I admire what you stand for. I’ll be following your web page and passing it on to other like minded souls, as well as doing my best to support you. “ May the force be with you” and protect you! Thank you

@chunkiebutterMy go-toI can’t recall exactly how I came across Courtney, but I am now a devout podcast-listener and Instagram follower and look forward to her content. My journey started in 2013 when I had failed every diet and finally opted for weight loss surgery when I tipped the scale at over 300 lbs. I technically “failed” the surgery (as many people do) and didn’t even reach a healthy weight before I started re-gaining. In 2017, I adopted a ketogenic diet, which lead to more of a low glycemic approach, and now, embarking on 2024 I am in full blown health and biohack mode. I’m finally a healthy weight (down 148 lbs!) and hyper-focused on any and everything that comes near or goes in my body. Seed oils, toxic tap water, endocrine-disrupting fragrance… basically anything Courtney has ever talked about, it has also been on my radar (so I am happily in the podcast archives listening to topics I feel well-versed in already, but love hearing other people’s insights). I am prioritizing sleep, avoiding stress, taking quality supplements, and am SO stoked to report my biological age result from Function Health came back at 10.4 years younger than my actual age! I feel like I’m doing everything right and I have Courtney as my wingwoman and bff (only she doesn’t even know me). I will absolutely continue to follow her journey and hope that more people stumble upon her like I did. Her approach to providing eye-opening information without shoving it down your throat (and appropriately asking her podcast guests to speak in simpler terms so more people not so versed on the topic can understand) is exactly what the standard American needs. Thank you Courtney, for all that you do! ***Update 6/1/2024 — I listened to multiple podcast episodes today on a flight home without WiFi… and found myself putting less trust in the statements Courtney makes. A while back, she reposted an Instagram reel about McDonalds using Monitor (pesticide) on their potatoes. Now I’m not saying McDonalds is healthy or that anyone *should* eat their fries, but that reel was flagged by multiple fact-checked sites because that specific pesticide hasn’t been used since 2009. I messaged Courtney about the information not being accurate and she replied, “yeah well they just use a different one.” I don’t doubt they use a different one, but stop spreading fake news. Again, more recently, Courtney claimed, “the FDA requires seed oils be included in infant formula.” Not true. And again, I’m not defending the FDA, but the requirement is that infant formula contain linoleic acid, which CAN be derived from meat, eggs, seeds and nuts. It’s the formula companies that are choosing to use “vegetable oil” to fulfill this linoleic acid requirement. So yes, almost all infant formula contains seed oil, but not because the FDA requires seed oil. It’s not a huge deal, I’m still an Instagram follower and podcast listener on occasion — but I feel like I need to fact check any health claim she makes because I no longer trust that she’s stating current or accurate facts. Still love her, but will not be quick to share anything she says until I verify it.

BeachgirltilltheendSugar AddictionI love all of the content on this podcast, but the Sugar Addiction episode hit home because I am trying to educate my teen daughter in this topic. She is very much into studying drug and alcohol addiction therapy so this will draw a good correlation for her. Thank you!

Kassandra K.New favorite podcast! This has easily turned into one of my new favorite podcasts! So much incredible information and content and I love the guests she has on her show.

sinned.Extremely informativeMy niece sent me this link a couple of months ago to listen to this podcast. She told me that it would help me on my journey as I move to a cleaner, healthier diet and help to heal my body. As a blind man podcasts are more of the best things that ever happened and this podcast and they weighed they approach Talking about food is absolutely wonderful. The guests and the host bring a lot of knowledge and depth to the conversation of healthy eating! Thank you very much for this podcast. It is extremely enjoyable and I look forward to listening for a long long time and navigating my way through all the older episodes to try to catch up! IG @learningtoblind

Review10122Please Diversify Your GuestsCourtney asks amazing questions and so far I have been really enjoying the podcast. However, I think she really needs to branch out more and diversify the people she chooses to interview. For someone who completely cured autoimmune issues through keto/carnivore, it’s baffling to see how many people come on here and recommend eating tons of plants/vegetables. Especially plants/vegetables that contain tons of anti-nutrients, tons of plant defense chemicals, and tons of inflammatory responses. Please interview someone like Sally Norton (an expert on oxalates) or Dr Anthony Chaffee a neurosurgeon who promotes carnivore, or Judy Cho an animal-based nutritionist. Animal-based eating is medicine.

cassiek25Great but one pet peeveI love this podcast. It’s really informative, and I enjoy the variety of topics covered. The one thing that bugs me is the way the host pronounces anecdotally. She says “Ane-dotally” every time. I realize how dumb this is, so I’m still giving it five stars, but if that will bug you, here’s your heads up.
-
