AnwandekNew York ParentThank you for this podcast. I am the parent of a child who was just diagnosed with ADD, Dysgraphia, low executive functioning, high anxiety and extreme high IQ. Because he was diagnosed with CP when he was 5 the school always associated the learning issues he had with CP. He recently took a neuropsychological exam and we discovered everything mentioned above. I realized something was very off because we were working with him one on one. We decided to homeschool this year because of covid. I instantly panicked and blamed myself for not noticing these issues before. James is currently in the 6th grade. Now I know he can get the help he needs and all those terms mentioned above don’t seem so frightening. Your podcast are so easy to comprehend and really puts things into a manageable understanding of how to break things down so james can get the appropriate help. I wish some of the Doctors you host had centers in New York City. Can you make any recommendations?

Mrs.stingerParents of students with learning disabilities and ADHD will set so much out of this podcast!I first became familiar with Karen Wilson’s work a few years ago. I quickly learned how smart she is and how good she is at explaining things in a non-technical, reassuring way. I have worked in the learning disabilities field for a long time and find parents often have questions about the assessment process, including whether or not they should put their child through it or what they should expect from it. Dr. Wilson explore the possibilities and will leave the listener with a sense of direction and hopefulness. This is a great addition to the world of podcasts for families!
