4TW5Anti Trump Sentiment…Has degraded what was once interesting to what is now just plain- annoying. The world’s problems are not a result of President Trump.

PD HerrlingerBest weekly analysis of global issuesThis is an amazing series. Each week, an eclectic group of domain experts speak for a crisp six minutes on a timely topic, mostly connected to the current Covid-19 pandemic. Every week brings a pleasant surprise of learning about a topic I had never thought about. And the experts get to question each other. The highlight, of course, is Larry Bernstein’s monthly analysis of the Non-farm Labor Report that comes out the first Thursday of each month. Not to be missed!

Data junkyExcellent program now available as podcastI've been listening to WHN since the second episode. Great format (6 minutes /speaker), excellent and varied speakers. Knowledgeable and extremely well read host asks insightful questions. I love to tune in for the live show on Sunday afternoon, but it's great knowing I can listen to the podcast for any that I miss.

Bill M 9000Breadth and depth from experts in a fantastic formatThe weekly “what happens next in 6 minutes” conference call (now podcast)—along with regular exercise— has kept me sane during this 2020 covid crisis. First, some bias: I'm a high-school classmate of Larry and love his book groups. We were at the "Stanford Days" book group right when covid broke. Days later, when the lockdown started and we were all stuck at home, Larry reached out and started a weekly conference call: “What happens next?” Larry tapped his hefty Rolodex to bring in friends, classmates, and colleagues from Wall Street to shine some light from their expertise on a weekly Sunday afternoon conference call. That weekly call brought relief during those rainy, cold spring Sundays and has become part of my routine since. Stanford Law Professor Rick Banks soon joined as cohost. Together they have brought amazing (e.g: Condoleeza Rice, Jeff Shell--the CEO of NBC Universal--Nobel Laureate Myron Scholes) and wide-ranging guests (cyber security, police, education, law, logistics, literature, religion). And a great format! "6 minutes" means the speakers talk frankly, clearly, and "keep it short". Larry and Rick ask incisive and penetrating questions, yet keep a spirit of curiosity and adventure. They stay politically neutral; the "word of optimism" at the end, launches us into the upcoming week. Thanks, Larry, Rick and everyone (Justin!) for putting this together.

halbermoleA must listen…A superb, cohesive and wide ranging look at the world as we work through the COVID-19 Pandemic. From vaccines, to racial injustice, from riots to policing, from medical perspectives to economic and political projections, Larry Bernstein and Rick Banks invite an array of brilliant commentators to give their opinions from their areas of expertise in 6 focused and highly informative minutes. This is truly one of the most valuable resources I have engaged with in helping us work though the challenges we currently face resulting from the virus.
